Hi I have a question. It’s my first time incubating peafowl. Day 25 we added water and locked em down. Today is day 27 and it looks like all the humidity is gone! What can we do? Thank you

I just found my peahen sitting on 5 eggs. I’m guessing they hate 24 days. I candled them and only seen a little light shine through on top. Since the rest of the egg at this stage is dark I’m assuming they are all about to be hatching out soon. I’m I correct?

You have to know how long the peahen was sitting...watch for movement inside the egg...check my other peahen egg videos as it shows what a egg hatching looks like...

What should be the percentage of Humidity for a small plastic box incubator for 10 or lesser eggs kept in non air conditioning area? (Rain stopped 2 weeks ago and now it's sunny all day and outside temp is around 32 degree C)

Thanks for writing and viewing...as said on video I do not use a hydrometer in my incubator as it never worked out well in the past. I do exactly like I say in this video. If you do the same as me and candle your eggs during the whole process then you should have a good hatch...eggs need to be 99.5-100F degrees for 28 days...check this out...th-cam.com/video/sRG8fFHR7Jo/w-d-xo.html th-cam.com/video/NGENgq8fFEA/w-d-xo.html th-cam.com/video/1mgQzfer4pI/w-d-xo.html Hope this helps...one more thing do not worry and do as I do...

@@MisterPeacock Thank you for your kind words. Yes, I am much worried by the increasing humidity from 60 to 67 percent in the egg incubator due to the humidity increase outside. This is my first time and I am doing as I am reading over the Internet and I am worried that humidity above 60 percent might drown the chick in the egg or might lessen the chance of hatching. That's why humidity has become a very big issue for me. I stay up late to bring down the humidity from 65 to 60. Sometimes I feel mother wouldn't have to adjust the humidity but the information over Internet for a new person like is really nightmare.

Put a dish of water in the incubator and if not room keep water filled and spray the eggs 3 times a day and candle the eggs and if the space is to small no water if the air space is
too big more water...watch my videos again as they will help...relax as all will go well and if not try again...that is how I learned...
