I literally just picked my 2023 6sm sport model a week and a half ago in the dark grey with 20-30% tints from Subaru and I absolutely love this car. Living in Canada I’ve already noticed how the plastic protects the car from the salt and I can’t wait for a good snowfall to have some fun 🙃
I just purchased a 2023 WRX and saved $2000 under MSRP. I agree with pretty much everything you said. It is a performance bargain. I don't love it but it is growing on me. I really wanted a Type R...and still do, but the price difference is prohibitive.
Bought a 22 vb magnetic gray which helps with the cladding but still wish it was painted. I love the car, it is easy to work on and great to drive. Paid 3,000 off MSRP, which I used to get axel back exhaust, sport grill, front lip, tinted windows and duck lip spoiler. I still have money left over to lower it just a bit to get rid of the wheel gap. I was looking to buy the civic type r but it was 15-20k over MSRP(44k) which I could not justify spending.
Ugly - No it’s not Overpriced - It undercuts almost every competitor in this segment Unreliable - Only if you tune them, and mod them incorrectly Bad MPG’s - It’s all about the smiles per gallon. 4 Reasons not to buy a WRX - Debunked

Got my 23 WRX GT for $4k under msrp, and that is a steal! Agreed!

Looks good to me. Rear bumper is different. Takes a little getting used to.
Im interested in the CVT the 40k is nice but damn I wish the interior was better :P and had 360 cameras and digital dash
Ugly, overpriced, unreliable and bad on MPG's. 4 Reasons not to buy a WRX.
