WOW Classic - PVP Class Guide

General overview of Classic WOW classes in PVP.
Most of the characters in the videos are in a mix of blues and epics. The server the game play was recorded on allows mixed Alliance & Horse BGs.
The game play is not mean't to show the best skills but rather give you a sense of the game play for each class.

Hey for a tip for you, perhaps a good keybind might be to bind pet attack/pet return to mouse scroll wheel up/down respectively. Personally, it feels really intuitive and makes sense, up for pet attack, down for return. Just rebind the camera out/in to use a modifier like alt/ctrl/shift scroll wheel up/down.This works with any class that uses pets.

Excellent video. Yes, all classes are viable and everyone used to whine about every other class being OP in Vanilla (and beyond), which means Blizzard did a good job at balancing the classes. For myself - aiming to level a Warlock as a main - probably choose Soul Link for PvP. Soul Link Locks are extremely hard to kill if played well and still have a fair degree of sustainable damage thanks to both DoTs and DD spells. Another option is the infamous SM-Ruin specc.

It still amazes me how many people cry about other classes being overpowered or easy to play when Blizz did a pretty good job at balancing so many classes. Soulink is extremely strong in PVP, you just don't take any damage and have good regen via improved healthstone and drain life. Really good at countering warriors and rogues too who will constantly be targeting you. Personally my favourite spec is running with a 19/0/32 destruction spec with succubus for the big burst & dmg potential it offers.

Still deciding between Warlock, Shaman or Mage. Mained Hunter in classic so want to try something different this time around

@@holysock7186 what you finally choosed? And why are you deciding between those 3 classes? (are just the classes im deciding :D) Shaman is fun, but that lack of CC makes them easy to counter, and bad 1vX in worldPvP...

@@Akonovo waiting to see whether my friend is going to play Alliance or Horde...if Horde I'll roll warlock, if ally I will probably roll hunter or mage. I have always preferred range after maining Rogue originally and got sick of being kited so became the kiter instead. All of those classes are really fun to play and have great burst damage potential, shammys are definitely the worst in 1vX however are extremely strong in BGs with their damage, heals & totem versatility

I'd say frost mage is the easiest. Will do well against melee and good survivability
