You should still go there if you can. Like you, I’ve driven by it countless times over the years - and I finally had to stop in. A nice piece of history, despite it being in the worst possible location.
t'was my dad, and his father ,and the one before that.that have always been the groundskeepers for their family homestead ..and now here is where we all lay..i am the last of that line ..that kept it cleared, and caringly tended to. the graves and stones, may they forever rest in place , even those reclaimed by mother earth , shall forever be her treasure..a token..of who once walked or roamed..forever with her always, on her journey as she goes..like a locket in her pocket on her sailing ship called home.
I have always wanted to go into this grave yard. I drive past it all the time. Thank you so much to show us this.

Such a poignant reminder of our past. Always fascinated by the last survivors of neighbourhoods (e.g. a lone house in the midst of high rises).
I love this stuff too. Sometimes it’s nice to see a stark reminder of what shaped our towns, cities, and roadways.

I grew up in Etobicoke and drove by this and thought about it. Always thought it would have been a pain in the ass to navigate to.
It is not an easy site to get to … and if you miss the turnoff (which is easy to miss), you have to drive for 15 minutes to turn around and try again.
yeah eh...no kidding !!! my things have changed all around !!
That was cool and very interesting
I’ve spent YEARS driving by this place, so I needed to finally solve the mystery. Thank you so much for watching! 🤗❤️
Wow, your video includes the headstone of my 3rd Great Grandfather Andrew Coulter!
Oh, wow! Thats amazing. Love that. A pretty unique/special place for him to be buried. ❤️
That small stone is a foot stone for Knaggs
I’ve lived at Burnhamthorpe Road and 427 since I’ve been 11 years old....... I’m 64, I really need to go!

How can they rest in peace with all the noise?
The question everyone should be asking! 😂
I would love to visit this graveyard with my ouija board...anyone else wanna play with meee???😉🖖😂
I always thought it was placed there as a reminder for the myriad lunatic drivers.
It’s not a terrible guess, considering. 😂
I drove past thos many years!!!
Just subbed your channel and followed you on Instagram. Great video.
I wouldn’t say notorious....obscure perhaps......
I used the wrong word, indeed! Meant to change it a while back and forgot. Thanks for the reminder. 👏
