Outstanding improvement! Way better looking than previous version. It would be awesome if they could incorporate voice activation - so you’re not searching for menus on screen to adjust anything.
The new design has made a drastic refresh with the exterior as well as the interior, ride quality , noise isolation with dual pane glass driver and passenger and top and upgraded suspension blind spots added . i’ll definitely trade old M3 for this new one ..

The model 3 was originally my dream car but then the model Y took that but this refresh literally said “move the hell out the way cuz I’m here fr”😭😭

I was planning on getting the 2023 model y but I’m waiting for the 2024 model 3. This car is light 💡.
Completely different car, Y vs 3. If you want the Y space, why not wait for the new model Y? I suspect we might see Model Y Juniper sooner than we all expect. Tesla focuses a lot on keeping manufacturing costs low and reusing parts. The factories are already upgraded for the new Model 3, so I think Model Y might follow in 2024.
The overall facelift looks amazing, however the ambient lighting is the cherry on top lol.
I would absolutely love to see a night drive of it with the ambient lighting 👀👀
There are some good style improvements to the body, but the display needs a drastic upgrade. It needs to have a servo tilt function that can angle the display towards the driver & use an anti-glare touch screen on the display which is, in my opinion, a problem with the Older Telsa model 3 and I noticed all the time driving it, the glare on the screen during the day unless you have high-end window tinting throughout the car. I believe the S has a tilt function tot he display, it needs to be a standard feature already and it wouldn't hurt to have a speed HUD display over the driver steering wheel as well!
I will be buying one of these as I had my M3 for 5 years but sold it so I can step up to the refreshed version sometime this coming year. Beautiful car inside and out with lots of enhancements.

Nice review but you forgot the most important change to the refresh which is the removal of the shifter and turn signal stalks. they are moved to the screen now.
Not to the screen... to the buttons on the wheel
you will get used to that in a week, so many positive changes though
Soon tesla will remove windshields. Some cars already arrive without brake pads lol

Thanks for the review of the Highland vehicle. Be interesting to see how this vehicle does with Tesla Vision parking assist. I guess there is not any front bumper camera, so i think there would still be a limitation on the front camera looking over the hood. But we shall see.
Myself, i am more interested in the Juniper Model Y Hatchback style when you do a review of it. Also the model 2, will it only be a sedan, or is there a hatchback style??

I already noticed the left driver door LED trim is misaligned compared to the right door LED trim, when the doors are closed. Tesla still needs to work on their quality alignment panel issues and gaps.

I also love the ambient lighting. It certainly creates a futuristic feeling in the cabin. I can't wait to get behind the wheel.
I hope they make a turn signal stalk an option, I hate having turn signals on the wheel. On a track car it has its benefits just like a yoke, but for regular roads a round wheel and turn signal stalk is much nicer.
Was looking into finally getting a tesla with the model 3 refresh but I’m going to have to pass, the lack of a stalk is just too much.
Stalk as an option does not exist. May be as aftermarket, later
not just nicer, but SAFER. Try pushing the "signal button" when you are already cornering and your steering wheel isn't in the "straight" position.
The sexy button company will be releasing stalks.
If their car is so autonomous it should do the signally by itself, but no...the whole self driving thing is just for Twitter demos

I hope the new suspension doesn't add to the porpoising with acceleration and stopping. An improved ride is welcome. I also think the ambient light is going to be annoyingly reflected in your line of sight. Tell me it can be turned off. Quieter is a big plus. The new design is growing on me. I am fine with no stalk stuff but since I need readers, its not all that easy to see the center screen when driving along. In a Model 3 rental I was struggling to find the wipers during a shower. Even worse when lane keeping started issuing warning messages like a nuclear melt down.
Ventilation seats is what I need, thinking of trading in my current M3 for it. Summer in the south crazy hot.

@@joeblack4026 That's what I am using right now, sounds like a hair dryer, pretty loud. I preferred something more stock since there are concerns about the cover blocking the side airbags on the seat.
This Tesla 2024 model 3 is beautiful; I want one.
Its a nice car but I still would like a small console in front like a regular car. The dash also looks too sharp. I like the round steering. What is the driving range?

I loved the car but the trunk's opening is limited to store large items...a hatchback version could solve this issue...I would expect more than 2 new colors, other competitors are offering a different color palette in Latinamerica not the standard 5 colors Tesla has since the beginning of the Model S launch

Too bad Teslas did not include the automatic frunk opener. Have installed them on our Teslas. We actually use the frunk more often. Waiting for the Model 3 Performance

A very nice upgrade... in the future I see Tesla going a step further and adding transparent solar, they have to innovate to stay ahead, cos the competition is catching up.
Too bad it will not be available in reality until March or April 2024 at the earliest in USA. That is too far into 2024-Most Manufacturers release their cars in the preceding year, not the same year which affects resale, etc.. Tesla also needs to make some more exterior colors and more luxury options available to interior, instead of boring black and white. Tesla needs to stop hyping and promising things they never deliver on-time, or are late to the party-they are becoming like Apple that hypes each new iPhone - which is hardly better than last model and are behind brands like Samsung and Google in technology and AI. Tesla was the pioneer but other companies like Lucid,Polestar, etc, are catching up and passing in many areas.
So. You spend your days worrying about excuses for NOT getting a Tesla…

Tesla needs to upgrade the battery pack to increase range to 400 miles. Useful in high speed driving. Also, less use of Superchargers or other public charging.

What I want to know is, do the seats fold down? Back and front.
I like the ventilated seats and quiet more comfortable ride, but the tail lights appears to come from Renault Clio/Captur, the steering wheel from a Fiesta 2018....
and the stalks removal especially for turn signals, I can only predict they will rollback like they did with the yoke being the default on S/X.
I don't mind the tail lights, but the steering wheel is indeed fugly.

Your title says "faster". It is actually slower with a top speed of 200kmh compared to the previous model 3 with a top speed of 230kmh for the SR and LR.
Where's the horn?? Tesla needs to get back to a center horn. I've almost been hit mult times turning left in my Model S but the tiny horn button gets rotated so u can't find it!! The video didn't show any horn icon....

It has the most amazing sound, even on the back seats, and I love how safe it is. Did anyone here see that Tesla that went right through a brick wall ? No one was hurt ! Or the car in calafornia where 4 people (the dad did it on purpose) drove over the egde of a kliff and fell 150 feet straight down ? Again no one was seriously hurt ! I will chose a Tesla because I want my family safe .

Just bought one. I have test driven all EV on the market, but a Tesla is just something else. Lightyears ahead of any competition.
Then you haven't tried out the XPeng, Nio OR BMW electric sedans. They're beating Tesla specs-wise.
Removing the indicator stalk is stupid and possibly dangerous. I was intending to buy one but not now.
Maybe the old steering column can be retrofitted. Ferraris also have indicators on the steering wheel … people just get used to it

The new design is definetly refreshing to see. The model 3 ticks all of the boxes in what one would want in a car; with out doubt a beautiful car. Unfortunetly the car is still out of reach of many people from a price point of view (within the first world country). It still fall within the low luxury range price point. Tesla needs to keep pushing the price point down some how to get it to 25,000 to 30,000Euro and that is just for people within the first world countries.

Dramatic improvement to the exterior and needed as it was looking old fashioned. I didn’t want to trade in my nearly 5yr old model 3 for one that looked identical. Having said that I’m buying a Rivian next anyway.

I am probably alone in this comment section when I say I really have a distaste for Tesla. However I love to see that they added ambient lighting, because now I know almost every manufacturer is gonna copy them in that regard. Insanely underrated feature that completely changes the vibe of the car at night.
Wait until you find out that Mercedes-Benz exists. Disregard everything else. When we talk about MB their ambient lighting is exemplary and I don't even like the brand tbh.

It costs like 200$ to buy an LED strip and install it in your car with multi color control from your phone.... What this car needs is a massive interior redesign for the dash, it's still way too simplistic and plain.
@@inventingabetteryou9210 You said it all. It really loses its appeal with a dull and boring interface on the tablet as well, which seems to get outdated quickly. I still wonder why people choose Teslas. They appear overpriced, and you often need to add aftermarket solutions for features that come standard in other brands.
