Great video and beautiful car! As someone who’s had the refreshed model X for almost a year now, I can attest that it’s very difficult to turn the blinkers on while already turning the wheel, as noted in your video. You don’t ever get used to it, and I think This is definitely going to cause accidents as large numbers of people will simply stop using their blinkers , or they’ll look down while turning to try to enable them, both of which are very dangerous situations to force people into. Maybe the car will anticipate your turn and put the blinker on for you in the future. Coming up with a solution aftermarket is a great idea though. I wouldn’t be surprised if the EU forces them to put the blinker stock back in, because it definitely makes you less safe, even after you get used to it.
Ryan I have a tip which you can use. Think of how a stock works. Push up right. Pull down left. Now when u r in the roundabout, u know where the left column of the steering wheel is. Just hit it from bottom with finger close to the column. Thats how i solved it in the highland.
I agree on the noise. Drove it last friday (on trial) and when I drove home in my Polestar 2, I definitely noticed that there was a lot of noise that I just didn't hear in the Model 3.

The deletion of the indicator stalk is a huge concern and I think a massive negative for European drivers. Exiting roundabouts and quick city manoeuvres would carry a higher risk of wrong signalling. Can see a need for a third party indicator stalk refit.
@@ricco123tubeI checked the roundabouts near me. The radius of the roundabout means the steering wheel only gets turned about 1/4 turn which means the turn signal and hand position goes from the 9 o'clock position to about the 12 o'clock position or slightly beyond. This means the turn signal buttons are not upside down and in fact the position of your thumb remains easily over the appropriate indicator button. The panic about accessing the turn signals in roundabouts is unfounded BS. A big "nothing burger" in my experience.
You're right, I have driven my new Tesla Highland for more than a month now and this is really a stupid idea.. For highway and straight roads it's fine but in small roundabouts, that are numerous in Europe, it's very painful to correctly indicate. You can't get use to it since the indicators' position always change, depending on the size of the roundabout. Now I'm looking forward into their new Knob button, just discovered in their video that we could use it for indicators as well so it sounds nice!

We never had regen settings in the last 2 years on model 3 or Model Y in Canada which is very poor when you have slippery roads, like teh snow we get 6 months of the year. The SEXY buttons are great for changing regen and also for battery preconditioning when not using a Tesla supercharger!
Please make the stalks programmable to allow the indicator on the right hand side for RHD drive cars. Would also be great if you could re-purpose the indicator buttons.
@@EnhanceAuto-S3XY_Gadgets Thanks for listening. BYD are coming and they're going to be gooooood.
without having tried it I could imagine that it has something to do with how big the roundabout is, a small roundabout you would have to turn the steering wheel a lot which makes the blinker function difficult. Several times Tesla has made new solutions, it's as if Tesla is teasing us drivers a little bit and is a little ahead of us, I think the idea with it is that you have the route guidance combined with your turn signal, it will flash at the right time when you turn out of the roundabout. It will most likely require a software update, after all it happens a lot after a while that you find a way to handle your turn signal. BYD is one of many new Brands from China, historically we don't know much about them, what about service, reliability, resale value, damage caused by accidents etc. and how many of them survive? as long as the state of China provides subsidies there is a chance for a few of them to survive.

Nice video and thanks for al the info. I have ordered one for myself and very excited about it. I have also placed an order for s3xy knob for this model and cant wait how it looks and operate in this vehicle. Looking forward to the stalks as well. If it looks good and affordable then I will definitely be placing an order for that too. One question I have is is there any plan to introduce gear change in s3xy knob? Since Tesla moved the gear shifter in the screen which I am not a big fan of. Also please launch an infortainment cluster for this vehicle too please. Looking forward for your upcoming products.
Thank you so much for the support! Yes, the Knob will be able to change gears, just like the S3XY buttons and the S3XY stalks in the future. An instrument cluster is not a bad idea, but it will be later down the road. We have a cool app incoming that will act like an instrument cluster with the Knob 😊
It is set on 100% regen by default. So you cannot change it to low as it was available in the previous models. But with our products we can control it all the way from 0 to 100%

Well, you are in luck. We have already developed the feature for changing the gears via the buttons and the knob. You can see it in some of our previous videos 🙂
On the highland - yes we will. On the previous models , at the moment there is no option to do that, but maybe when the highland and the other cars get to the same software version, we might be able to do it 😊
Seriously ? There was no LR on the ship that brought this cars so we have not seen one, but to be honest, the fabric and the soft materials around the doors feel already nice. 😊
Great video, poor lane discipline (move over to right especially when you are driving 94kph instead of 100kph) and why are you driving below the speed limit everywhere?
Any idea why the passenger AC cannot be turned off in older models? We all know it can be off, as it is off by default when there is no passenger in a seat.
I am thinking about getting the buttons for highland so I can have a turn signal always at the same place instead of moving on my steering wheel. Any suggested location for me to put the buttons for turn signals? Also, does it give you warning when the battery is low? Don't want to press the button and nothing happens because of batter issues. Thanks in advance!
I have a 2020 Performance & I can adjust the distance between the following car on autopilot via right scroll wheel ? Same with my old 2021SR+ or my old 2023 RWD
We did not express ourselves right. We wanted to say that since the steering wheel is the same as on the model S/X, we were expecting that there will be no control to the distance , since those cars do not have it. But the model 3 do have it 😊
Nice to see your first impressions! Does anybody need a button for the regen? You can control it just fine with the accelerator in my opinion. Those direction indicators are never going to be a favorite I am afraid. Oh by the way… stop driving in the middle of the freeway. Stay right. 😂
Nice video. You guys did well to get that done so fast. Looking forward to more with this car. Like the previous comment. We have always been able to adjust AP follow distance here in Australia. Maybe this was just a Europe thing.
No, no. It was our miscommunication. We wanted to say that the steering wheel of this model is similar to the S and X models by having capacitive buttons, and on those cars the distance management is not supported through the steering wheel. But on the new model 3 it does
Yes, the buttons come with unit called Commander that communicates with your car, and by pressing a button you can change the regen anywhere from 0 to 100%
Yes, sure. We make them here in Europe. You can visit our website enhauto.com and check what we do. In the Buttons section there is a page where you can see all the features they support 🙂
if for some reason the screen turns off and does not turn on... how do we choose to start the car? or to reverse? I think it's wrong to remove the options from the steering wheel
Well, technically there will be an emergency set of buttons that will appear on top next to the hazard lights, but it is always a good option to they the S3XY buttons or knob (or stalks in the future ) 😊
It’s a great question. We drive with the speed limiting about 95% of the time after we got the car on 99% charge. When we went to the charging station we were at 7% and we made around 350km. We need to take into account that it’s cold this days (around 6 degrees) and it was raining 95% of the time, so the car should easily do 400km from 100% to 2% in our opinion. But we will do more testing in the next video
Yeah, they always say that but it’s never true. Not sure how they test them so they get that range , but there is no way for us to achieve it. We will do more testing
@@S1nwar I go around 2 smaller roundabouts that have 2 entrances and 3 exits every day coming home from work, idk seems like a non-issue to me, yield till there's a gap and you go
If you live in a small town with not much traffic , then you won’t get it. In Europe we have roundabouts with 3 lanes and 4/5 exits , so at some points there are over 50 cars in it and another 10 waiting to get in. So let’s say I need to take the 4th exit. My move will be to enter the roundabout and go all the way in the inner lane (which means I need to cross 2 other lanes), then pass 3 exits and prepare to cross those 2 lanes back to enter the 4th exit. How am I going to do this without activating the turn signals? How would people know my intentions and give me the space I need to pass safely?

The 2019 model 3, which appears to be used as a the benchmark in the video, would have been made in the US. Later model 3s sold in Europe were made in China, which was already much better built and quieter than the 2019 US built cars.

Well, it all depends on your daily commute and lifestyle. If you plan to charge at home and you do not live in a place where there is a lot of snow and ice, them RWD is good enough in my opinion. But if you travel a lot daily, live in a cold country and do not have a garage to charge overnight- then LR is better 😊
We feel that there are too many videos already doing it. Also, we saw the car from the outside a month ago go and posted it, but we did not drive it, so we were super excited to share that experience with you guys. 😊
Frankly, can't see much that excites me. Unless I've missed something can't see anything of importance that, for example, the Renault Mégane doesn't do. Tesla have even stolen the fabric covering that Renauld use, it's just that Renault use more of it. I've never liked the Tesla UI, looks like a lump of plastic with an iPad stuck on it. Compare that to the inspiring wrap round double screen in the mégane. (Powered by Google android, mega fast). But there you go, each to his own.
Right that is the only option that's why I will not order this new Tesla 3... I have so many roundabouts, amazing that this huge security has not been checked by Tesla... there's a software solution for that... an automatic get out light coming up as soon as the tesly see the exit road in the roundabout as the cameras see that we are going out... this must be automatic.

We have a cool app incoming that will act like an instrument cluster with the Knob 😊
wait so M3 SR won't give you the option of regen braking? or is it set in default and you can't change or turning it off?
It is set on 100% regen by default. So you cannot change it to low as it was available in the previous models. But with our products we can control it all the way from 0 to 100%
Hey guys, how's the sound system on the SR model? Tesla advertises a redesigned 17 speaker on the LR which I think it has 2 subs. What about this SR? How many speakers? Any subs? How does it sound?
Great question. We will compare it to our m3 performance 2019 once we get back to the office 😊
Wil you do a smart action to disable the new speed warning that is mandatory for all new EU-cars?
This will be one of the first thing to do. The beeping is constant, but you can pause it from the car too. Just have to do it each time
Great, seems like a very annoying thing to do manually for every drive so that feature would be really welcome!
First to watch! You guys nailed it
🤜🤛
thanks for the video iam from france nor mandy region i have just oredered mine my tesla model 3 will be red with white interior and standard range after my delivery in january i will leave france iam going to live in den haag i do not like france anymore iam very interested by our stuff have you got a store in amsterdam
Glad to hear that you ordered the red model 3. It is a unique color for sure. :)
We do not have a physical location in any country, but we do sell our products online. You can check our website: enhauto.com :)
@@EnhanceAuto-S3XY_Gadgets ok thanks
Can you add ambient light activation for the older standard range? Even though the hardware and lights are there but Tesla has software locked it
Thank you for the suggestion. We have it on the board for a while, we just need to get to it. 😊
If you make stalks, please make it in pair form. I wonder if the original Tesla m3 parts fit😊
I WANT aftermarket stalks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Would be great to build after market comodos, and introduce gear selection to buttons and knob
Well, you are in luck. We have already developed the feature for changing the gears via the buttons and the knob. You can see it in some of our previous videos 🙂
@@EnhanceAuto-S3XY_Gadgets so, i'll just test it in my next Tesla ! As for the signals, comodos are still the more convenient solution.
Installation method of S3xy buttons should be the same as the previous M3 variants I assume?
Also, can you guys please map the buttons to open the cameras?
On the highland - yes we will. On the previous models , at the moment there is no option to do that, but maybe when the highland and the other cars get to the same software version, we might be able to do it 😊
Have you noticed the SR gets shitty fabric on the door cards. Now you have to get the LR to get Alcantara.
Seriously ? There was no LR on the ship that brought this cars so we have not seen one, but to be honest, the fabric and the soft materials around the doors feel already nice. 😊
i test drove the highland as my first tesla - the buttons were an issue for about 5 minutes. It's a non issue
I thought they were putting blind spot indicators on the side mirrors? No?
No. They have added a small red LED light inside the speaker on the A pillar. It is not that great but it is still something
Just subscribed!
You are freaking best ❤
Please do something about CarPlay if possible. It’s not normal to not have CarPlay in 2023

Can the buttons be programmed for drive, reverse, netruel?
They sure can. We will post a video on it soon. :)
ohh then they will definitely solve most of the issues regarding the removal of stocks :) @@EnhanceAuto-S3XY_Gadgets
You should not use your blinkers on roundabout that takes attention away from the road and the vehicles in the roundabout
A tale by a BMW drive 😂
Can I check if the old/previous s3xy buttons and commander are compatible with the highland?
It is. As you can see, we already use the S3XY buttons in the car, so the Commander works just fine. 😊
Will you ever release an all-in-one screen which mounts above the wheel and shows a dashboard that doesn't require mounting your phone every drive?
We are a small but growing company, so you will see a lot of gadgets coming from us 😊
Great video, poor lane discipline (move over to right especially when you are driving 94kph instead of 100kph) and why are you driving below the speed limit everywhere?
Thanks for your video, very interesting.
Thank you! We are tying our best even tho we don’t feel most comfortable infront of the camera 🤣
When will the Highland version be available?
Any idea why the passenger AC cannot be turned off in older models? We all know it can be off, as it is off by default when there is no passenger in a seat.
We would also love to know. We tried creating a custom code that disables it, but Tesla always finds a way to turn it back on. No idea why
Oh I see…is Tesla just trying to get us to buy the Highland? Weird…
when it gets to NA, hopefully they will bring back the stalks...
We got you covered on that end
Map the indicators into those buttons.
We already have them integrated. A video will come soon 🙂
The only thing stopping me from buying it is the lack of indication stalk.
I live in an area full of roundabout and twisty roads.
Shame.
We totally get you, and that is why we are bringing them back 😊
I hate ISA speed alert so much. thanks ECE/UN...and tesla needs to fix it, that you can tap on the speed icon again.
Stay right. 😂
🤣🤣🤣 we are left lane huggers 😜
Many people love the control the regen for many reasons. But it is a personal choice 🙂
what color ? Stealth Grey or Deep Blue Metallic ?
But on the new model 3 it does
@@EnhanceAuto-S3XY_Gadgets Oh haha. I thought that was strange.
Literally nobody complained about the stalks and now Tesla is making people complaining about it..
So true
Has the sound system been improved on the sr to?
how do you change the regents with buttons? must you buy the buttons
Yes, the buttons come with unit called Commander that communicates with your car, and by pressing a button you can change the regen anywhere from 0 to 100%
is there a video of this unit or where can one buy it ? thanks @@EnhanceAuto-S3XY_Gadgets
How many km can it drive realistically?
It’s a great question. We drive with the speed limiting about 95% of the time after we got the car on 99% charge. When we went to the charging station we were at 7% and we made around 350km. We need to take into account that it’s cold this days (around 6 degrees) and it was raining 95% of the time, so the car should easily do 400km from 100% to 2% in our opinion. But we will do more testing in the next video
Interesting, thanks@@EnhanceAuto-S3XY_Gadgets
Because in the config it says it will do wltp 550km with aero caps on
Yeah, they always say that but it’s never true. Not sure how they test them so they get that range , but there is no way for us to achieve it. We will do more testing
I genuinely didn't know anyone ever used turn signals when exiting a roundabout I don't think I've ever seen that in my life in America
of course you do that otherwise the the oncoming traffic has to wait and assume you stay in the roundabout
@@EnhanceAuto-S3XY_Gadgets it already helps when you're alone in the roundabout and theres a single guy driving towards where you plan to leave so that he wont have to stop for you
@@S1nwaryou are right 😊
how to display the curb cm? at 0.34 seconds
The max recharge speed (145 kw) is because the charger or because the vehicle?? I was thinking the max speed in M3 SR was 170kw.
It is because of the charger. It was a v2. We have not had a chance to find a better one yet. But we will test it 😊
@@EnhanceAuto-S3XY_Gadgets thanks a lot for the answe
You boys need to stop driving those roundabouts. Problem solved.
LOL
🤣🤣🤣
Who signals in a roundabout?
@@egs2169 are you serious or are you a bmw driver ? 🤣
That sounds like what Elon Musk would say
You modulate the regen with your right foot!!!
Great. What else shold we do while we are on it? :D
Battery lmfp? Mi like kms a 120? Weel 18"
The 2019 model 3, which appears to be used as a the benchmark in the video, would have been made in the US. Later model 3s sold in Europe were made in China, which was already much better built and quieter than the 2019 US built cars.
The difference between 2019 and the new one is tremendous. We love the performance of the 2019 model, but for everyday drive, the new one is better
@@EnhanceAuto-S3XY_GadgetsThanks. I'd interested in knowing the between the Highland and the model 3 cars that were already being made in China. My understanding is that the made in China model 3s were already much quieter than early model 3s made in the US.
It will be great to compare them , you are right 🙂
Would it be worth it paying extra for the long range, or is the range on this one already good enough?
Better speakers longer range its better in the snow i guess
Well, it all depends on your daily commute and lifestyle. If you plan to charge at home and you do not live in a place where there is a lot of snow and ice, them RWD is good enough in my opinion. But if you travel a lot daily, live in a cold country and do not have a garage to charge overnight- then LR is better 😊
did yall really not show the outside of the car?
We feel that there are too many videos already doing it. Also, we saw the car from the outside a month ago go and posted it, but we did not drive it, so we were super excited to share that experience with you guys. 😊
What is the price for this vehicle in the Netherlands after all taxes and fees?
Around 43k
Is Netherlands a safe county to visit?
Extremely. Unless you are coming with a bike. 😜
@@EnhanceAuto-S3XY_Gadgets LOL.... I need to go somewhere where so Netherland it is going to be then .
You will like it
Take your time on the stalks. If you nail them, they will make you so much money! It’s unfortunate Tesla got rid of them
We definitely want everyone to feel good using them 😊
@@EnhanceAuto-S3XY_Gadgets Hope it is not going to ask for a lot of work to install
We always think of a way where people can do it themselves. The case will be the same here 😊
If cars were not made with stocks no one will complain. Just like everything you will get use to it
If no one invented cars, we would debate which saddle is better
can you pry open the glovebox if its magnet only?
We are no those people that will know the answer to this question 🙂
Frankly, can't see much that excites me. Unless I've missed something can't see anything of importance that, for example, the Renault Mégane doesn't do. Tesla have even stolen the fabric covering that Renauld use, it's just that Renault use more of it. I've never liked the Tesla UI, looks like a lump of plastic with an iPad stuck on it. Compare that to the inspiring wrap round double screen in the mégane. (Powered by Google android, mega fast). But there you go, each to his own.
Do the sr version have also 2 subwoofer in the back or only the lr version
Only 1 I think. Will check
2023 old Model 3 is actually lot better than 2019, the gab is not that big between the new model in terms of interior noise.
Good point. We will make a comparison video soon
Can you make better looking buttons
You are not wrong. 😊
How to decide between Standard Range and Long Range? I know the differences, I would like to have the Long Range because of all the benefits that comes with it, but around 8k euros more it 8k...
SR is best. LFP battery with way more lifetime.
@@xDUnPr3diCtabl3 u are right for the battery ! What about safety ? SR is RWD (rear wheel driving) LR is AWD ( all wheel driving) AWD (LR) is safer than RWD (SR) ?
