Have a look at this from the New Zealand perspective. Hart/Chest pain and/or problems breathing, which caused by seized rib hinges on the back. Hope this helps you as it has helped me to get my life back.

This explains why I was getting relief from rubbing my neck, I’ve been using yoga balls and a foam roller, gently haha but I wasnt sure how safe it was. I finds stroking that area without my fingers to be really effective at alleviating stress and anxiety.anyway, subscribed!

I have had a meteosensitivity for several years.
Do you think that the sympathetic/parasympathetic nervous system and the vagus nerve have to do with meteosensitivity?
    Thank you very much.

I was intrigued by an email on stimulating the vagus nerve using sound so whilst googling vagus nerve your video came up. Im glad I watched it. In my neck c4,c5,c6 were damaged, usually when the pain gets too bad a neck massage is the only way for the pain to go. So using your neck massage , following your instructions what has occurred is this, body temperature has significantly increased, i can now fully turn my neck which with all the other types of massage sure the pain was alleviated but not increase in movement, thank you for your video, I can now turn my head right and no pain, i shall do this each day as its been since 2011 that I havent been able to properly turn my head right. bloody unreal, many thanks to you , lots of love from Australia xxx

I had GI surgery and my vagus nerve was damaged. I have near constant nausea/dizziness that I'm being medicated for and treated for. That was 1.5 years ago and 100 pounds ago. I can't grow hair, I'm cold all the time, food is awful. Those spots on my neck look like huge fans they are so prominent! Thanks for the exercise, it was so painful when I just touched those areas so I've got some work to do 👍👌.

I'm a certified massage therapist. I think you may have pinched too hard or done this for too long. My SCMs are very sore already. If I were to do this I'd just briefly hold the muscle. You don't want any pain, just tolerable discomfort. I'd stretch out the muscle first by doing GENTLE, SLOW head turns in each direction.

I'm so sorry you had this response! My guess is that there's a trauma pattern in your body that says it's not safe to relax. Check out TRE (trauma release exercises) and also I'd highly recommend seeking out a trauma informed somatic therapist. Both will help you retrain your nervous system.

@@carolineflynn01 , I am so glad you did it. I have read scientific studies for almost five years now and concluded that a chronic inflammation is in the basis of most diseases and disorders, including stroke. I have two autistic grandsons and they are recovering nicely with the help of some supplements, most of them anti-inflammatory and anti-oxidative. I am very sad for not being able to help my late husband after his stroke as I didn't have knowledge at that time. You can also give your mum omega 3, some 2 grams EPA+DHA a day, but should consult her doctor first. Omega 3 is also anti-inflammatory.
