A small correction, the 2023 Corolla hybrid isn’t the slowest or weakest Corolla as you mentioned. It has 156 pound feet of torque, not 105, and that means it has more torque than the 2023 gasoline Corolla. This torque is also down low in the rev range for the hybrid, unlike the gasoline Corolla. Sure the gasoline Corolla technically has more power but you have to really rev the engine out to unlock that power. In the real world, the hybrid Corolla feels faster and more powerful to drive.
It is a performance car...on your wallet.
Just picked up my 23 hybrid SE used with only 2,700 miles!
You can’t get awd on the XLE hybrid bc the price would raise over $30,000 and they’re trying to keep it under 30K. This has chrome because it’s the XLE. Get any other trim and you won’t have the chrome. Thanks for mentioning the all automatic windows! No one mentions it
Thanks for the detail!
Enjoyed the personal insight. Never thought that I'd be so attracted to a Carolla. Maybe speaks to the lack of quality and affordability of so many other brands.
Great review! Unfortunately here in Dallas, new Corollas have huge dealer markups due to extremely low supply and extremely high demand!
That is a shame, I’m seeing it with rav4s as well
In California, some dealerships mark it up by 10k
@@Izzyvee62 crazy!
@@Izzyvee62I went to two different dealerships and the first one I went to marked it up by 3,000 from the sale price while the second didn’t it’s crazy
I live in the Washington DC suburbs and we have the same problem. very high markups over msrp.
I have that exact same color
It’s a Prius drive train with a Corolla body on it.
The current Prius is so much faster than this😂
@@naveenthemachine all I’m saying is that it the Prius’ drivetrain with a Corolla body on it. If you don’t want to pay the outrageous dealer add on charges some dealers are adding to the new Prius this might be the better option and you can go on a nice cruise with the money you save instead of giving it to a dealer. Your choice and your money.
@@naveenthemachinecurrent prius is a prius lol
@@raymondmiller2780here in Dallas, new Corollas have huge dealer markup so what savings?
@@johnkonde1975 do NOT pay these dealer markups. Eventually they will disappear. You might be stuck if you need a vehicle now and the Corolla is your main choice but if you don’t need a car now hold off. JMHO…
Why would I get this over a Camry hybrid that’s faster roomier and as efficient
price?
@@dwnshft price isn’t far off a Camry hybrid at the low end
@@naveenthemachine I wouldn't call nearly $7,000 "not far off."
@@RobertDoosh true but the delta shrinks once you factor in markups on the corolla. I haven’t heard of any steep markups on the Camry
@@naveenthemachine i just reserved a corolla with no markups
Looks very 20th century.
I wish they took their electronic crap and shoved it
lol why?
Form fitting leatherette seat covers front and back can be had for $189. Cloth owners can have a small upgrade for cheap and protect their seats from damage. Includes a nice arm rest cover that looks good. I had to protect my hybrid SE cloth from dogs toe nails. It seemed to hold up but I always cover my seats. My 24' SE does not seem to hit these MPG numbers on the highway. I think its the 18" alloy wheels. The look great though.
I purchased one on Saturday and so far I love it, just don’t have the blind spot
So excited. I ordered a 2024 SE hybrid AWD. Should be in later next month. Blue print? I’m a little concerned about giant 18” wheels. They look cool but there’s so many speed bumps in my city.
Congrats. I’m also expecting mine later next month or beginning of January as per eta salesman can see on his computer. Are you also being told as per eta provided to your sales man by Toyota? I’m trying to figure out how accurate these delivery dates are. Thanks
What’s the difference between the non-hybrid one? Mine doesn’t say it’s hybrid but sounds electric.
Google a hybrid car
More videos in jorts and slides! Good review.
aye aye capn
Keep it up bro, ur growing well, congrats. I hate toyota as a brand though
They are made for seniors, steer like boats, and boring tech wise pieces of gunk
But good on y for the creative interesting stuff
Hyundai and Honda are the only good bang for bucks that have good tech, good driving feel. And Mazda is overpriced cramp sardine buckets I don't care about their turbos and sporty feel they are overprice low quality junk
glad you liked the video! thanks for the love!
