@@garrettcreede1674 Yeah, they may require a little extra patience at first, but I think all three of the early TES games are worth it. :) Here's more info about Daggerfall's knightly orders for anyone interested: en.uesp.net/wiki/Daggerfall:Knightly_Orders
@@DavidCDrake I've tried to replay the early games but I never get very far. Daggerfall has been partially remade on the Skyrim engine, think it's called Skygerfall.
You missed several knightly orders: - Order of the Lily (Knightly arm of the House of Dibella) - The Kynaran Order (Knightly arm of the Temple of Kynareth) - Maran Knights (Knightly arm of the Benevolence of Mara) - Order of the Lamp (Knightly order dedicated to the protection of the Mages Guild)
I've created a "Knightly" Order for Kynareth, my favorite Divine. They are called the Rangers of the Wind and they protect the forests and mountains. Like historical Rangers, they cull poaching and patrol the forests dispatching any bandits and demons/hostile creatures that may harm nearby settlements. It's a humble build and gratifying playthrough which really (depending on your own personal RP) requires no major quests but the small side quest of restoring the Gildergreen. Of course you'll want to get the sapling instead of forcing the Eldergleam to bleed. It's a good build for those that want a mercenary run but can't let themselves be a harsh person. If you use Alternate Start it's good to begin either the Hunting in the Woods option if you're wanting to complete the core quest or Left for Dead and maybe roleplay that you woke to wind kissing your cheek and Kynareth whispering her tune in your ear.
Cool! I've played as a knight of the circle clearing dungeons across Skyrim. There is a lot of work to be done in terms of fighting the dead and necromancy. I think there was a templar order of Kynareth in TES:Daggerfall en.uesp.net/wiki/Lore:Kynaran_Order

Gonna go full nerd here, but just for fun, I made my own knightly order in Skyrim. I used the Become High King mod. With that, you can appoint NPCs to be "rangers" and scour the land for evil or "heroes" who train and serve as warriors in the army. Any warrior who serves as a housecarl or stewart got an gold emerald ring and is a member of the Knight-Guard. The rangers all got gold sapphire rings and are the Knight-Rangers. The Knight-Heroes all got gold diamond rings. Each knight also has either a legendary weapon or one I made using a mod to make it unique. Nerdy, I know. But I thought it was cool.

Alright so this video is great, but Drew my boy I would suggest some tips from the "vocal toolbox," the fact that every sentence ends with the same intonation makes it sound like a really long and tired prayer. I love a good Tale involving Knights. Bravo bravo I think this may be the best one yet at least in my opinion. I would like to see more Knights in the Elder Scrolls.
Remember chivalry isn't a set of laws, but guidelines. A little pillaging of another hold or land is healthy, and it's okay to send someone else to trigger a possible trap in your place. Stay upper class fellow knights, and may your codpieces be obnoxious. ...wait sadly nobody has made codpieces for Skyrim. :C 14:27 Let's all appreciate that a guy magically gibbed himself so he didn't become undead.
One you might've forgotten was the Knight-Paladins of Auriel: Pushed to the edge of extinction by Ysgramor and his returning northmen in retribution for the massacre of Saarthal, the Forgotten Vale, a long-lost valley tucked away in the mountains between High Rock and Skyrim, was host to not only one of the last centers of the ancient Falmer's worship to their patron deity of Auriel, but it was also one of the last bastions of their very civilization. And dutifully standing watch over this isolated Chantry of Auriel is Knight-Paladin Gelebor. I say this is a group you *might have* missed, because whether he was a part of a formal knightly order is unclear, but he does mention having led a small force of paladins in defense of the Chantry around the time the Snow Elves' twisted, degenerated kin assaulted the Vale in the First Era. As it stands in the wake of the Last Dragonborn's quest for the legendary Bow of Auriel in the early second century off the 4th Era, Gelebor is now last of both his order and his kind within Skyrim. Regardless, he continues his lonely vigil in service to Auriel, with only the thought and the hope that more of his people yet survive somewhere out there to bring him some small measure of peace...
Viridity one, I believe they’re referred to as the Knights of the Crypt (colloquially referred to as “Spellknights”) and they’ve got some interesting lore relating to body/spirit modification via supernatural means, as the thing they believe to be the greatest threat to mortals - that’s why they hunt and kill briar hearts on site
did you mention the order of the lily which is dibellas all female knight/cleric order i know they aren't purely knights by definition but their description reads similar to the akatosh knights
Well you guys have persuaded me to make a Knight style build going to be the youngest daughter of a Breton Lord's son and Imperial Count's daughter, on both her mother's and father's side would have many of those who are knights, mages, lords and ladies due to her family been quite wealthy she is educated in reading, writing, swordplay, restoration magic, enchanting and she even took up smithing believing that one should look after their weapons and armour
I hope we get some kind of confirmation or at least passing mention as to what became of the second order of the Knights of the Nine in TESVI. As far as I know, there is no lore whatsoever as to their fate after Oblivion. Did they dispand again after the Champion of Cyrodiil disappeared? Were they killed off or forcefully disbanded by the Thalmor during/after the Great War like the Blades? Or did they just drop Talos and become the Knights of the Eight again (I sincerely hope the latter isn't the case)? So many ways their story could have gone, and yet we know NOTHING.
probably what happened is they got mostly destroyed during a great crusade during the great war and the survivors got back to the priory of the nine and hid the armor of pelinal
Hello all at Fudgemuppet! I have been watching your videos for several years and have been more than entertained and fascinated. Anyway, I can't believe why I haven wondered this before, and my question is: *"Why is your channel called"FudgeMuppet" ?*
I got an interesting theory about Argonians and I hope you want to hear it. Maybe other people think the same but I don't know so far Argonians are actually the most powerful race but the hist trees have magical powers which drains the power of the Argonians when Argonians are born they drink hist tree sap like you guys said in one of your videos this could be the moment their powers are drained and when the deadra attacked the hist trees gave the Argonians their powers back so the deadra would leave the trees alone of course argonians believe the hist is good because they tell them the future and this could also lead the hist to let the Argonians believe the hist created them. But I think the Argonians came from the dragons the most ancient race and evolved to live in more crowded areas like swamps. Really thank you for reading this ps Argonians don't have wings but water breathing because the wings are useless in the swamp and the water breathing is more useful for getting food and they can't breath fire or ice etc. Because they consumed the hist sap but some Argonians still show genetics of dragons..
If I could join any one of these orders, I’d join the Resolutions, to serve my eternal savior, and long time favorite patron Divine, my main man, Zenithar 😎✊😎✊😎
What about the order of Talos which provably their knights are the Blades and the higher rankers of the Imperial legion like the Knight of the Imperial Dragon, Knight Paladins etc
Everybody knows the only good knight faction is the knights of the thorn. Small as a platoon but attacks like a legion. Daedra quiver before their rallying cry. The most exalted knightly order, led by Sir Indarys himself. HUZZAH!
You didn’t mention that the Knights of True Horn were rebuilt in Cyrodiil after their destruction as per lore provided by the Battlehorn DLC for TES IV
I still strongly believe that TES6 storyline will take us to be the avatar of Ebonarm where we need to quell the different orders of knights in Daggerfall and solve their political issues. Then we also will have to deal with warriors from Redguard that are fighting the Thalmor who are backed by certain nobles of High Rock. Then to the mountains where we need to deal with the Orcs and the reformation of Orsinium and possibly the purification of Malacath into Trinimac. Then whatever we descide between each story it comes together in the end where if we formed allies or enemies we have a huge battle with the resurgence of the Underking and an undead legion that aims to take the land. The end.
Spare me your empty little compliments, girl ... and your ser's. I am no knight. I spit on them and their vows. My brother is a knight. -Sandor, to Sansa Stark
The Dawnguard are more of a mercenary guild that specializes in vampires than a holy order. True, a few of its members are former Vigilants, but they don't enforce or even encourage any type of reverence for Stendarr, Arkay or any other deity.
I always wondered what happened to the knights of order when jyggalag turned into Sheogorath. The essence of who they are/were should be changed since they were so tightly tied to jyggalag's mind. And if they didn't change I wonder why that is. Wouldn't it be so much better to have knights of madness watching over your mad kingdom instead of two other less faithful daedra races.
I have a question in the time oblivion when the aldmarain domainian where are the knights of Tamriel in times of strife they would have turned the tide of cyradil
The fact that these Gods are tengible and REAL will keep these knights in line. No taking advantage of commoners no rape etc. Of course there would be bad apples but overall they HAVE to stay by those virtues. And I like knighthood is different than our world.
YOU FORGOT THE ORDER OF THE LILY(DIBELLA) AND THE MARAN KNIGHTS!(Mara) Speaking of that, you guys could make a video talking about the Strange Daedric Runes found in Azerothian Tombstones in warcraft 3 reforged. Along with the strange accurate pre-c0da text from 2007 predicting Dawnguard and Nocturnal's realm, also a new light about the fate of the surviving Snow elves becoming fucking Night elves, or Noxmer. Someone even made a post about it on /r/teslore, and its good
YOU FORGOT THE ORDER OF THE LAMP!!! jk but seriously the order of the lamp was a knightly order created by vanus when he realised mercenary's didnt care for the safety of the mages guild so he created this order to be the protectors of the mages guild.
Not into all the Christian stuff but whatever. I just like knighthood as fantasy normally displays it because of polytheism and the fusion of national heroism and light of divines.
Hey man have you guys done a mounted warrior build? I’ve been using convenient horses mod, spears and weapon expansion mod, and better perks mod, and the three together could make for an awesome mounted knight build... Horse mod let’s you stat up and decorate the horse. The weapon mod adds 1h and 2h spears and halberds with longer reach for mounted combat. Perks to make the build more viable. Just curious, I’ve been trying this out as a mounted Nordic Paladin and WOWEEE it’s a fun way to play. Love the work you do, keep it up.
Also been using a restoration and illusion build that focuses on buffing your allies and letting them stomp butt while you stay back and provide support.
The problem with horse builds are they aren’t useful in dungeons or caves, which are basically 90%+ of the combat scenarios in game. But, they are fun to play in end game RP scenarios where one can just ride around smashing giants, combating mammoths, and eradicating the undead (and their necromantic masters).
Missing Eye Of Odin see I haven’t had too much of an issue with dungeons... It does suck not to have your horse, but I usually sword and board my way through them with a “squire” for company. But you’re right, when you’re out in the open... blasting your way through a mob of enemies on your horse, sending them all flying. It’s pretty epic.
BlueSkull it does 😂 It adds: -short swords -spears 1 and 2handed -halberds 2h -staffs 2h -mauls -spiked clubs -hatchets It’s simple but I enjoy it, especially that these variants spawn on enemies 👍🏼

Am I the only one who struggles to choose between making my knight in Skyrim a pure warriorish knight and a magic based knight??? Lol
I love how you have started to use TESO footage.
14:27 Let's all appreciate that a guy magically gibbed himself so he didn't become undead.
One you might've forgotten was the Knight-Paladins of Auriel:
Pushed to the edge of extinction by Ysgramor and his returning northmen in retribution for the massacre of Saarthal, the Forgotten Vale, a long-lost valley tucked away in the mountains between High Rock and Skyrim, was host to not only one of the last centers of the ancient Falmer's worship to their patron deity of Auriel, but it was also one of the last bastions of their very civilization.
YOU FORGOT THE ORDER OF THE SPELL-KNIGHTS FROM THE CREATION CLUB! (all caps angry message just as requested)
@@Jabberwokee Than you for the info
@@Jabberwokee definitely one of the better pieces of lore added by the creation club
I liked that mod from the creation club. Still use it on all my playthroughs
thats creation club content though and not considered canon
Order of the Lily. You missed that one
did you mention the order of the lily which is dibellas all female knight/cleric order i know they aren't purely knights by definition but their description reads similar to the akatosh knights
Knights didn't solely serve a church, infact every knight with the exception of those who serve christianity served under lords.
Sad there is no mention of the Lion Guard, the Welkynar, the Order of the Lamp, and a few others.......
Am I the only one who noticed the Robert Baratheon guest appearance at 0:13
Order of Zenithar-basically Tamriel’s prime PMC contractor right? 😂
Hello all at Fudgemuppet! I have been watching your videos for several years and have been more than entertained and fascinated.
Anyway, I can't believe why I haven wondered this before, and my question is:
*"Why is your channel called"FudgeMuppet" ?*
I too am interested, my wife laughed her ass off when she heard “I’ve been Drew and this has been Fudgemuppet”
I got an interesting theory about Argonians and I hope you want to hear it. Maybe other people think the same but I don't know so far
Argonians are actually the most powerful race but the hist trees have magical powers which drains the power of the Argonians when Argonians are born they drink hist tree sap like you guys said in one of your videos this could be the moment their powers are drained and when the deadra attacked the hist trees gave the Argonians their powers back so the deadra would leave the trees alone of course argonians believe the hist is good because they tell them the future and this could also lead the hist to let the Argonians believe the hist created them.
But I think the Argonians came from the dragons the most ancient race and evolved to live in more crowded areas like swamps. Really thank you for reading this
ps Argonians don't have wings but water breathing because the wings are useless in the swamp and the water breathing is more useful for getting food and they can't breath fire or ice etc. Because they consumed the hist sap but some Argonians still show genetics of dragons..
Nerd
That is a good theory
Maybe the Hist did that because they were scared that the argonians would become their one self and stop whorshipping them.
@@BigM1020 nerd guard
If i remember correctly the argonians born outside of black marsh and without the hist rituals are much weaker in general
Would you do a lore update with ESO when Greymore comes out?
HUZZAH!
Long live the Knights of the Rose!
Ah a new FudgeMuppet video to listen to on this nice early morning shift. Thank you guys for all your video! Pretty sure I've seen most of them lol
You didn’t mention that the Knights of True Horn were rebuilt in Cyrodiil after their destruction as per lore provided by the Battlehorn DLC for TES IV
Being a lonely knight in skyrim is not easy..... constantly fighting glitchy dragons... and relentless amount of bears
Only having a few temp retainers and too many Lord's to serve as Thane and not all of noble
You forgot the Order of the Lily.
I love Oblivion soundtrack. 😍
What about the Knights of the Imperial Legion; which the higher rank is the Knights of Imperial Dragon and lot of more, also the order of talos
2:43 birb in top of birb
You forgot the knight order specificly made of females knights of kynerith
You forgot about the Blades and the Dawnguard.
The Dawnguard are loyal to Stendar.
The Blades are loyal to Attitash and the Dragonborn.
The Dawnguard are more of a mercenary guild that specializes in vampires than a holy order. True, a few of its members are former Vigilants, but they don't enforce or even encourage any type of reverence for Stendarr, Arkay or any other deity.
So many new Builds that you can make based on the different Knightly Orders. Can you make a Build call “The Black Bull”?
I always wondered what happened to the knights of order when jyggalag turned into Sheogorath. The essence of who they are/were should be changed since they were so tightly tied to jyggalag's mind. And if they didn't change I wonder why that is. Wouldn't it be so much better to have knights of madness watching over your mad kingdom instead of two other less faithful daedra races.
Knights that became exiled after the Great War
I have a question in the time oblivion when the aldmarain domainian where are the knights of Tamriel in times of strife they would have turned the tide of cyradil
You should do a video(if you haven't done one) of the all the different magical orders.
The fact that these Gods are tengible and REAL will keep these knights in line. No taking advantage of commoners no rape etc. Of course there would be bad apples but overall they HAVE to stay by those virtues. And I like knighthood is different than our world.
PLEASE do more fallout four builds. I have been waiting for SO long!!!

YOU FORGOT THE ORDER OF THE LILY(DIBELLA) AND THE MARAN KNIGHTS!(Mara)
Speaking of that, you guys could make a video talking about the Strange Daedric Runes found in Azerothian Tombstones in warcraft 3 reforged. Along with the strange accurate pre-c0da text from 2007 predicting Dawnguard and Nocturnal's realm, also a new light about the fate of the surviving Snow elves becoming fucking Night elves, or Noxmer.
Someone even made a post about it on /r/teslore, and its good
Knight of the Nine yup I wanted to hear about the order of the lily
night elves?
Since when were night elves a thing?
?????
YOU FORGOT THE ORDER OF THE LAMP!!!
jk but seriously the order of the lamp was a knightly order created by vanus when he realised mercenary's didnt care for the safety of the mages guild so he created this order to be the protectors of the mages guild.
You missed the Lion Guard. (Yes they are a knightly order)
May i ask does the weapon expanison also give you short swords etc if so i think i have some of your mods loool
BlueSkull it does 😂
It adds:
-short swords
-spears 1 and 2handed
-halberds 2h
-staffs 2h
-mauls
-spiked clubs
-hatchets
It’s simple but I enjoy it, especially that these variants spawn on enemies 👍🏼
Knights of the tru horn from battlehorn DLC
THE ORDER OF THE RADIANT HEART...oh, wait sorry, wrong game. My favorite fictional knightly order, I have often played a lost paladin of the Radiant Heart in Skyrim, I just wish a totally awesome mod-maker would make faction armor for them.
You should play the skyrim beyond reach mod takes place in Evermore
