Yes, today we're going to be discussing all of our lovely fosil Pokemon and be ranking them from weakest to strongest. Some will shock you and others will be exactly where you expect them to be. You didn't look into its other moves Arctovish gets access to such as psychic fangs, crunch, any physical rock move, and iron head as well. Stealth Rocks is a move only trash pokemon players use if they want to lose. And if Rampardos was garbage, it wouldn't be getting more usage than Bastiodon and on top of that, it has a lot of sets that take advantage of Mold Breaker and Sheer Force. Armaldo also gets Swift Swim as an ability, did you not think of that when you were writing your script? Dracovish, just what I've been waiting for. This is a prime example of how idiots don't know how to play around one of the most garbage mons within the game. Dracovish is a horrible pokemon, Fishious Rend Relies on speed and 75 base speed is mediocre at best. Smogon's Competitive scene is a horrendous shit show that can't handle certain things and ban them because Smogon sheep are so fragile and suck at Pokemon.

This is an unpopular opinion, but I actually like the gen8 fossil pokemon designs. They're weird and I like it.

I choose it over tyrantrum, due how beautiful is it and I'm already had a dragon type on my team
I love Aurorus, it's so majestic. I personally don't care if it's considered worse, I always pick the Sail Fossil over the Jaw Fossil.

Same here. Aurorus is my favorite fossil pokemon, and imo, it's probably one of the most beautifully designed pokemon to date. It could've been decent too, if it wants for its type... ;-;

Fossil Pokemon are to me the most interesting.
Since to my knowledge the pokemon actually died out but has fossilized remains and can be brought back.
It's so interesting!
Mamoswine was very close to becoming extinct but it seems the ecology of the Pokémon world helped it survive longer than the mammoths on our own world, not to mention that mamoswine can summon icicles out of the air.
me to, but because I'm a big fan of prehistory, I feel like it was a crime that megalosaurus,baryonyx,iguanodon and ceteosaurus(The most famous of the British dinosaurs) weren't the base for the 4 fossils

Honestly with sheer force he could probably move some of that attack stat to his speed. I mean he'd be fine with lower attack anyways if he had more speed
@@stevenmartinez2530 That's very true. While Rampardos has a number of issues, the one that hold it back the most is it's lack of speed. It has more than enough power, but it's low speed, bad defense stats, and bad defensive typing make it hard pressed to make good use of it's god tier attack stat.

Feels kinda wrong for "JOKE" Pokemon based on archeological mishaps to be stronger than natural prehistoric beasts.
I prefer the word "Abominations".

Dracovish and Dracovolt are both excellent designed Pokemon despite being abominations that I'm willing to overlook it. Especially Dracovish.
Here’s how you make Rampardos a beast:
Step 1: Rock Polish
Step 2: Focus Sash
Step 3: NUKE EVERYTHING, AHAHAHAHAHAH!!!
Slap on a Rock move that isn’t Head Smash, Earthquake, and a 4th move of your choice. Pick between Crunch, Zen Headbutt, Iron Head, Brick Break, it’s up to you! Ability doesn’t matter. It depends on whether you want to ruin abilities or gain more power.
Only flaws: Priority or Pokémon with over 430 Speed and Entry Hazards, but considering the insane damage you output at a surprisingly fast pace, who the hell cares! Rock Polish does wonders for this Pokémon, so stop shitting on Pokémon with low speed! This strat works almost all the time, trust me. And if you can’t find an opportunity to set up, save Rampardos for later. Have it get a free switch into a strong attack with the Focus Sash and nuke whatever punched you

Well, multihit moves, prior damage either from entry hazards or weather, priority moves as you already said, faster pokemon either naturally or by choice scarf, and/or any form of status kind of just... stops it. This is niche at best honestly and even then it isn't even that good.
Add Rock Head to it, and might as well quit. Thank goodness for Mold Breaker.

Then you remember those FEAR Shieldon in Gen 5 holding the Shell Bell. Can't OHKO it due to Sturdy, it uses Endeavor to reduce your Pokemon's HP to 1, and the Shell Bell fully heals them
Bastiodon was a bloody beast. Many a nuzlock have ended because of bastiodon.

I would expect Tyrantrum to be in the higher end of the fossils: Rock/Dragon is very good offensively and it has access to fighting type moves.

Aurorus is also my favorite fossil. It's so pretty, and its pre evo is adorable. I just wish its typing was better though.

Here's one plan to make Archeops (my favourite fossil pokemon and flying type) even better: have reflect on, a baton pass speed boost Blaziken with Work up, swap to Archeops, boom! You got an atomic warhead on your team

Tyrantrum may not be that good in battle, it’s still the most badass fossil Pokémon out of all of them.

Cradily has always been my favorite fossil and favorite grass type. I feel that it's also highly underestimated. Someone who knows how to use Cradily right can take out most teams and be one hell of an annoying pokemon.

Honestly yeah, I’ve used one on my ruby team and it was an amazing stall pokemon. My move set was confuse ray, toxic, ancient power and amnesia. It was slow, but I’d still win

In my experience, Armaldo was a solid part of one of my hoenn team, while Aurorus was more of a hinder to use in gen 6. It didn’t hit hard enough to usually be a reliable glass cannon and had two typings I don’t usually like as much.
If only Tyrantrum had a powerful stab move to take advantage of strong jaw, like mega sharpedo does, then it could take just as much advantage of it as it can rock head.

The Galar fossils are making fun of the monstrosities/mistakes early paleontologists made when reconstructing skeletons. That's why they look like a ugly hybrids.

I had this pokemon before at lvl 53 during my Sapphire / Ruby days. It is bulky, but not as good as Armaldo IMO.

Gets access to moves like:
Earthquake, Elemental Punches, Rock Slide, Iron head and tail, Psychic fangs, Thunder and Thunderbolt.

4:31 it was my biggest mistake ever getting that thing instead of a tyrunt in x and y it took super long to level up and couldn't even defeat 1 singular pokemon and i only got it cuz i wanted a ice type not a worlds weakest type

Some of the coolest Generation 4 Mons have major drawbacks that keep them from preforming well. Examples of these are Luxray Rampardos and Bastiodon. Luxray has a poor move pool. Rampardos is too frail and slow and Bastiodon is too slow
@@pkmntrainerred6093 Luxray's problem isn't in it's movepool (not entirely, anyways), but it's low speed stat. Rampardos has too many holes that need to be patched in order to be good, I completely agree. But Bastiodon is the one that I have the hardest time pinning down the problems for: it's typing would be good defensively if it didn't have to deal with having 2 x4 weaknesses, it's movepool is not great (nor does it give it anything to let it really stand out), and it's offensive stats are way too low; but if I'm being honest, speed is the least of it's woes.

I'm happy where you placed Aerodactyl. I tend to level it up and make it the strongest in my Pokemon teams, especially in X.
I expected aurorus to be much higher but the information u gave ,i think its true..
But its ability to convert normal moves ro ice moves can utilised better with hyper beam and that makes it cool..
I enjoyed using it in pokemon x ..

You were mentioning Durant being able to use hustle effectively; I guess that’s mainly because it has access to hone claws to increase its attack and accuracy and only has one weakness (all be it a 4x weakness)
