Nice Video, love to see the before and after mod videos and you didn't do a bunch of stuff all at once. This lets people see what small individual mods can do. Only thing I have left to do to my 5th Gen is port the heads, blower and Snout and maybe go with a bigger Throttle body.
FBO, Stage 3 Cam, E85, 2" headers, 2.5/9.1 pulley Combo.
I liked the yellow graph better. Better tune across full power band. Had best TQ, slightly lower max HP.

I would port the heads and throttle body plenum. The LS has so many cam profiles available that can help you add a lot of power. I plan to do same to my 3UR-FE 5.7L (no cams - they don't make them). Hope to add similar power to your specs minus E85 - just 93.
You should have it Extrusion honed to smooth it all out. You would get even more out of it all the way around! Love your vids, Joe from Brookhaven!

I’ve read the roto fab is mostly smoke and mirrors. It would be useful to see an intake comparison between something like a K&N drop in vs stock vs rotofab
I've seen consistent ~20 rwhp gains on the boosted cars with rotofabs. Not such a big gain on natural aspirated engines unless they get cammed though. Definitely not smoke and mirrors.
@@completestreetperformance Most of what I read was saying the rotofab is as good as a “green filter” (I assumed they meant a drop in like K&N even though I know theirs isn’t green) So I was curious how it performed compared to something much more simple like an drop in K&N. Oh well no biggie thanks for the response!

Doesn’t make much sense to me by the time you get done with all the porting polishing BS get the Magnuson 160 horsepower just by bolting it on For damn near the same cost
I wonder how these cars hold up with higher mileage. I have about 35k on mine and I’m gonna wait til I hit 60k to molest it.

Why not put a smaller pulley, cold air intake, and tune. This can give you approx.100 Hp!
Just curious why you didn't compare corrected numbers for the before and after to compensate for the temp and humidity differences, since most modern dyno's have them?

Get the Magnussen it’s worth 160 hp by the time you’re done with all the porting BS it’s just about the same cost

I don’t think it is worth it! Cost of porting and shipping with tuning almost $ 2000 for just 30 hp!
You can just sell lt4 blower for $ 2k and get used whipple 2.9 @ $ 5k it is almost the same cost with great gains!

Would the 103mm TB add anything in this equation. Do you need to run a tune with the 103 mm tb? Im looking to start doing things to my 19 c7 z and im thinking this is where im going to start also with the 103mm.

Any idiot can bolt on performance parts...a true tuner can put them on, re-cal the ECU and extract more power and prove it on a dyno. Nice work with porting and tuning.
