It was a pleasure meeting yall and having yall stay. You are wonderful to have! I'm glad we got everything squared away for ya! Good luck on your travels and don't be a stranger! Haha. You always have a place to stay here. Ryan
Hey everyone! Thanks for being here! This one is to satisfy all of those beer review cravings 🍻 you know who you are! We look forward to bringing more adventure content as we finalize this beast. Cheers and Happy New Year 🤙🏼
love the content, maybe keep the beer stuff at the end. it's not what most of us are here for so it was annoying to have to skip constantly throughout the video
It amazes me how you guys deal with all the issues of a drivetrain/frame swap on the fly. Props to you Mathew and Stacy 🤘 glad you made it to warm weather safely.
So awesome!! Thank you guys!! Can’t tell you how much I look forward to watching these videos. You guys are scratching the itch a lot of us can’t imagine reaching. Safe travels!
Production quality is 👌. You guys are a lot of fun, even on camera. I don't drink but the beer reviews are always entertaining! Best of luck on the journey :)
You kids make me so happy and jealous at the same time (I have a 5 in front of my age). I wish I could jump in a time machine with my wife and come with you two. Keep the videos coming….and shine on you crazy diamonds!
I’m not always happy or satisfied with my life and watching your vids always makes me feel better. We long to be back on the road out exploring and just don’t feel as complete stuck working seasonally. You two are in fact living the dream! What a cool adventure and something you’ll always look back on with great pride. Thanks for sharing and happy holidays!
A lesson for would be travellers. Keep it simple and keep modifications to a minimum. 8 years driving around the world with zero problems. Any service items are easily available. Seen so many "one off" builds fail...how can you fix something which is unique when you are in other countries? Overlanding, is it all about the vehicle or all about the wonderful experience of the journey itself?
Stoked for u guys! I had similar trip planned in the late 90’s. Made it as far as Panama (from Washington state). My ride was a 1968 Rambler American. 232 straight 6. Bullet proof car but would have so much rather had that Chinook!!!! Have a great trip and keep these great vids coming!!!!
The beer reviews, I think it was somewhat genius and outstanding entertainment. It was a great way to break up the repairs and keep things light! Another fantastic video🤘🏽🙌🏽🍻
So far such an amazing trip...stories for the rest of your life...the land Chinook is beautiful...can't wait to see her all dialed in....maybe a new adventure in her future???
The Pacific Pilsner toque made me smile. Sub’d and watching from Prince George, BC.. Home of Pacific Pilsner. I second the comments about the beer review segments. Build and travel pieces are great.. Safe Travels..
I’ve really enjoyed these episodes, I own a 90 Toyota 4x4 pickup. There’s days, weeks, months, that it doesn’t have an issue in the world… then, it’ll idle goofy, or a strange noise, or it’ll pull to left… think it’s just the Toyota lifestyle😂. I enjoy what y’all our doing, love the build, haven’t missed the beer reviews a bit. Just sayin’… but you be you. 😊
Awesome to see all the hard work come to fruition, Great work guys! I've built a sprinter into a camper and it ain't easy. Definitely a constant learning moment as you go with a camper
Love that you're out there doing it. Way to stick to the plan, even with all the setbacks. There's got to be some youtuber who'd be willing to make some composite fenders to fit your new front axle width. I cringe thinking about all the mud and rocks that will be smashing your beautiful work. Maybe they could even have them finished by the time you reach Argentina 🤣
Hopefully your trip is full of amazing people like the Eddy family, this Mama sends a huge thank you out to them for their kindness, travel safe you two - Happy New Year ❤
Side haboob? 😂 The quality of you videos is superb! Great scenery, great people, good times. Even the music is great. This was inspiring after working on both of my Toyotas today.
Greetings from the snowbound south Okanagan where yes indeed, it's snowing again. You all picked a good BC winter to miss by the looks of it! A tip of the hat to Ryan for helping out with a shop. Happy New Year to you all and safe travels.
10:31 great pro-tip that you guys did here. Leave the nut on but very loose. Keeps you from punching yourself in the face when pulling the wheel off. P.S. please lose the dreamcatcher 🚫
Keeping priorities straight drinking beer kills organization but who cares! Once you were done organizing and performing your repairs it was really cool seeing your adventures on the road. Thanks for sharing and looking forward to the next one! 🍻🍻🍺
Outstanding Guys, so happy to see you finally on the road. The mixed beer reviews during the main content worked awesome. Chinook is a beast and now road worthy. Loving your adventure.
A little advice from an old pro: 1. Throw out that soady pop you're drinking and get yourself some _real_ beer. Guinness Stout. 2. Always pour your ale into a glass so she gives a good head. Releases the carbonation. 3. Hire a professional to work on your vehicle and don't attempt a long trip till all the bugs are ironed out. 4. Beware of banditos south of the border. It's not safe like it was 50 years ago. Drive safe, have fun, and be careful! 😄
They crazy cold weather we had, chased you south. ... and I just noticed, the part of the camper that sticks out by the cab. It may need some form of protection? It's not really designed for big wide tires, and those mud slingers are gonna fire up rocks and mud. Maybe pitting and cracking that part of the camper?
Welll done.... Keep on keeping on.. Like i said before.. You have support in the deep south.. Your bravery is inspiring.. Merry Christmas.. And best wishes
2:16 That is something I would do, get the numbers mixed up before having even one beer. 15 pack of 5 different beer from 4 Peaks Brewing. 3:45 I don't know about that saw, seems to me someone tried to cut rebar with it. 5:18 "I smell brown ..." My last name is Brown, I smell brown everyday. 10:47 Did you put the nut back on after straightening the wheel? Did you fix that cobbled together flex joint that you fixed at 17:42 "1500 Mile TEST DRIVE did NOT go as planned | Toyota Land Cruiser Chinook?" episode? 12:52 I think you mean Tang, the orange powder for instant orange juice. 19:24 Are you planing to put air bags on top of the the rear axle to help level your rig out or is that just the way it is sitting in that parking lot? It looks like you have a bit of Carolina squat going on there.
Very awesome, way to look at the mishaps in a positive way. Love the locations would be great if you shared with the viewers the locations. Not sure if that short hike was garden of the God in Colorado, also looks like in New Mexico . Any ways safe travels glad I found your channel 😊
Dutch bros! It's a coffee institution in the PNW from Portland. Also, I could do without the beer reviews. I love following along on your epic adventure.
Great to see beginnings been relatively trouble free considering the size of the build....last 10% of a build takes 90% of the time they say....LOL 😂...I honestly thought there'd be more little niggles..Well done and awesome to see you on the road...Unfortunately we'll never run into each other on the road as following from Oz..(Australia)....
I think someone allready told you but i think you need to fix the ground on the left tail light :) the light looks really dim compared to the richt one! Be seen in the dark is the most important thing in a car i think :d ! Liked the video!
Beautiful video, Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. May God protect you, guide you and bless you on your journey. remember to find out about each country you go to. South America is beautiful but Chile and southern Argentina are even more beautiful 😁😁😁, a big hug and have a great time if you go to Chile, my city is Pucon, it's super beautiful and everything is nearby. Rafting, kayaking, volcanoes, horseback riding, trekking in parks , hot springs, fishing, waterfalls, waterfalls.
It was a pleasure meeting yall and having yall stay. You are wonderful to have! I'm glad we got everything squared away for ya! Good luck on your travels and don't be a stranger! Haha. You always have a place to stay here.
Ryan
So nice to go back and watch these older build episodes. Knowing that you’re currently upgrading to 2.0.
😂 they’re fun to watch and also hard to watch for us as the same time
Hey everyone! Thanks for being here! This one is to satisfy all of those beer review cravings 🍻 you know who you are! We look forward to bringing more adventure content as we finalize this beast. Cheers and Happy New Year 🤙🏼
Those beers seemed quite delicious :) Thank you!
Beer is good.. you need to show your island roots and review Lucky tho! Lol
love the content, maybe keep the beer stuff at the end. it's not what most of us are here for so it was annoying to have to skip constantly throughout the video
It amazes me how you guys deal with all the issues of a drivetrain/frame swap on the fly. Props to you Mathew and Stacy 🤘 glad you made it to warm weather safely.
Resourcefulness and a supportive community go a looong way!
So awesome!! Thank you guys!! Can’t tell you how much I look forward to watching these videos. You guys are scratching the itch a lot of us can’t imagine reaching. Safe travels!
Thank you so much! We hope we can make it feel somewhat like your trip as well as it is ours 😄
Best off-road content available now.
Great to see the rig in the dirt and you guys getting the “house” dialed. Must feel good!
Production quality is 👌. You guys are a lot of fun, even on camera. I don't drink but the beer reviews are always entertaining! Best of luck on the journey :)
Way to crush through adversity!! Ryan is a stellar guy.
We certainly is.
You guys have definitely taken "Overland" to the next level! You are now King and Queen of Overland!
The beer reviews should be its own episode. The beer review took away from this episode
You kids make me so happy and jealous at the same time (I have a 5 in front of my age). I wish I could jump in a time machine with my wife and come with you two. Keep the videos coming….and shine on you crazy diamonds!
We are the crazy diamonds! Haha. Thank you for being here.
You guys are my new favorite channel. Saying hi from Nanaimo keep safe.
It is so cool seeing you two get out and enjoy your creation! Love the Chinook! Keep it up, guys!
Congratulations. Finally on the road!
A lesson for would be travellers.

Shaking the bugs out while you have resources. Very wise.
Chinook looks quite happy off-road. No more death grip on the highway. Things are looking good! Happy New Year and stay safe.
No more death grip! What a relief. Thanks for watching!
Hopknot is my Jam!!! Nice to see all the places in my beautiful Arizona!
😂😂😂 Hopknot!
God this thing makes me geek out. When I seen it in person it was soo freaking cool
Love the massive risk you guys have taken, lots of respect for that.
Heard about you guys from Ryan. He and his family truly are the best, been friends for a while. Cool adventures, rad build!
They are so awesome and treated us so well. Thanks for checking in!
Best ad for a coffee shop ever! You guys are great, keep it up.
Yay, another drone!
Watching this made me happy. Btw the orange powdered drink in the green package is called Tang, I think.
P.S. pull out a map on camera from time to time please! Either your route is a bit hectic or my US geography is terrible. Probably the latter.
Tang!! Haha it's definitely the former, our route is a zigzag mess lol. Hoping to correct that asap.
Format if this video with the beer review cutouts is 10/10
So far such an amazing trip...stories for the rest of your life...the land Chinook is beautiful...can't wait to see her all dialed in....maybe a new adventure in her future???
A big adventure in the future!

That chinook is so cool
I’ve really enjoyed these episodes, I own a 90 Toyota 4x4 pickup. There’s days, weeks, months, that it doesn’t have an issue in the world… then, it’ll idle goofy, or a strange noise, or it’ll pull to left… think it’s just the Toyota lifestyle😂.
I enjoy what y’all our doing, love the build, haven’t missed the beer reviews a bit.
Just sayin’… but you be you. 😊
Thanks for the comment! We will try and find a beer review balance lol
Great job on your progress. I for one enjoy the beer reviews whether it’s just 1 or 5!
Come on now, the drink of the astronauts " TANG".
Play safe from Elliot Lake, Ontario, Canada.
Awesome to see all the hard work come to fruition, Great work guys! I've built a sprinter into a camper and it ain't easy. Definitely a constant learning moment as you go with a camper
That is a nice chinook, you both are doing a good job with it, i wish we have chinook here in Mexico.
Can't wait for the chinook to be dialed in and ride some proper offroad trails!

It looks like you guys are getting everything sorted just in time. The 5 beer review was fun and I'm sure you guys are glad to be headed south.
Glad to see you guys are on your way to an amazing trip. Love the beer reviews. You two are great together.
Love you guys. 👍🎉
You always seem to have a smile despite the speed bumps along the way.
We do our best! It's not always easy, but its always worth it.
Hopefully your trip is full of amazing people like the Eddy family, this Mama sends a huge thank you out to them for their kindness, travel safe you two - Happy New Year ❤

Nice series guys!
For one that don't like beer at all, the peach one might be the one to go for.
Greetings from the snowbound south Okanagan where yes indeed, it's snowing again. You all picked a good BC winter to miss by the looks of it! A tip of the hat to Ryan for helping out with a shop. Happy New Year to you all and safe travels.

Loving your adventure.
Thanks Mike!!
Humm that's a clever idea for four peaks beer. I have never heard of it going to check my liquor store next time in waldport Oregon
All the best in your travels, guys! This is hands down one of the raddest builds anywhere.
Thanks so much!
A little advice from an old pro:

I just sold my house in tempe. I miss Fourpeaks peach ale and joy bus so much.
Hey, I was just in Arizona over Christmas, drinking Four Peaks Kilt Lifter!
the format here is great, jumping between truck and beer content broke everything in a very watchable way.
Hell ya! That 3.4 seems to be doing great 👍 she might benefit from a TRD supercharger though 😜
I think so too!
Good video! Keep on truckin'!
That rigs clicking good now. Glad the break-in wasn't a broken and the 4WD is working now. Bet the heater/breaker goof up won't happen again. lol
Love Dutch Bros
Thumbs up, Subscribed!!! I'm in love with your rig, one of a kind!!!
I'm enjoying this channel more and more
Glad to hear it!
You drove through my home town on this one!

The,startup in neg 20 was great sound
Keep the mixed beer review works great.
🙌🏻 Trying to keep the people happy!
Dutch bros! It's a coffee institution in the PNW from Portland. Also, I could do without the beer reviews. I love following along on your epic adventure.
You need to try Kiltlifter on draft! Or try some AZ Wilderness brews
Noted!
Orange powder I grew up with was, "tang"!

Ahhhh balance in the universe 🍻
GREAT SUCCESS!
