Epic series. Your ability to invite us in to the experience is incredible. Hidden secrets of South America on display. Thank you for allowing us to ride the journey with you. You have the gift of storytelling, in film, but more importantly in words.
You’re a great storyteller and photographer/cinematographer! I’m looking forward to following along knowing each episode will be better than the last. Living vicariously through your adventures. 🍻
You two are having such an amazing trip and I’m glad that you are sharing it with the world. When I was your age these were only stories you read about and magazines. Technology has been great letting the world know about your journey. Looking forward to the next one. 🏄♂️🍾🍻
Wow. Wow. and Whoa!! I’ve never seen a Chinook on a classic 70’s (?) Toyota 4WD. You seriously tricked this beast out!! I had one for a moment; until the trani went out. Super job on the video footage. Can’t wait to explore Baja. Amazing you were alone nearly all the time! Thx for super tour and chair adventure
Reminds me of when we use to take my k5 out into the mountains of Colorado pulling a 18' camper on jeep trails. It was epic. Truck had a 6" lift and so did the camper
KIKASS DRIVE, THOSE TIRES ARE A GAMECHANGER!!! GLAD ALLS GOING WELL, THE SUSPENSION LOOKS LIKE A HOMERUN FOR THE WEIGHT TOO, AND HOW CAN YOU BEAT THAT V6.... BEST V6 TOYOTA EVER MADE!!!! BE BLESSED....
Love that Chinook. My 5th grade teacher used to daily drive the same year truck and I always thought they were amazing rigs. Thanks for taking us along on your Baja adventure!
Tip- with a cast iron pan, butter is your friend. Oils are not. A well seasoned pan should fry an egg or flip a pancake better than Teflon. Eggs should glide on the spatula. Zero stick.
LoL so cool, actually maybe a little more "COOL" for you two. So Awesome your on this run My wife Nancy and I did this same run 3 weeks ago , we spent 15 days slowly making our way around Cape Breton and the Cabot. If you have time , take those little sideboards along the water , most times it's absolutely stunning results. Have a blast hit Big Spruce Brewing if your in the Baddeck area, The Alexander Graham Bell museum is also in that area and is a worthwhile stop. Cheers and Safe Travels. It's a beautiful trip. MEAT COVE is worth the extra time as well. Cheers
So awesome to watch this video, I have spent a lot of time surfing and fishing on those exact beaches that you guys have stumbled across! Playa punta Blanca is beautiful!
I appreciate how you called them "corrugations". For too long, washboards have had their good name tarnished by this abomination of roadway conditions. I would not shed the smallest gleaming tear were these "corrugations" to vanish from the planet forever. Also, great drone work. I'm excited to start getting to know mine.
The views are amazing! Love the video. Through the desert of Baja adventure, The Chinook remains me of a badass desert turtle. Slow and steady through the vast wilderness desert along side them gigantic cactus. @ 28:35 the Chinook has this conquer determined look 😂 to take y’all through many many more adventures. Stay safe! Y’all rock!
36:10 great presentation. I shall watch again later. As someone who grew up in the tropics, me encanta! Bien Hecho, my wife would never, on the other hand I could go solo or even take my son. What a blast. Good for you! Proud of you two for the leap of faith. Viaje con Dios mid amigos
What an epic week. I think somehow inside of all of is a draw to the sea like some mistress that won't be denied. The drone shots were incredible and at times I really felt like I was there. Having a Mexican beer on a Mexican beach in Mexico had to be a special moment. The Whoville reference was classic and the little truck that could continues to deliver. Your videos from BC were great, but these are far beyond that.
it amazes me how many of the roads are down there .... , I guess we gotta keep driving them to keep them alive : but who drove them first to make it a road 🙏 ~peace~
Wow another video that takes the channel up a notch. Incredible scenery and a great soundtrack. Watching some of the drone footage reminded me of watching movies on IMAX. I'm looking forward to what's next.
Wow, how nice to find a quality channel like yours! Reminds me of Dustin Porter's Destination Adventure - high quality, well produced, and yet honest and natural. I'm subscribed, looks like I have some catching up to do, yay!
Greetings from the sometime sunny south Okanagan once more. Again a wonderful feast for the eyes from a spot so very different than here. It's still freezing at night here by the way, so for sure a good choice to head south. Travel safe you two.
@@ToyotaWorldRunners You're very welcome. I think my young neighbor Mark might have sold you some Toyota parts back when he lived at the coast. Small BC world. Safe travels again.
You two should drive the beach from El Conejo to Todos Santos. Amazing off-road section that is not too bumpy! From 24.071571, -111.007104 to 23.513755, -110.288809 . 110km on nicely packed sand!
Really been looking forward to each episode lately, it's so fun to follow along on your adventures 🤩 the filmography is really incredible too, those drone shots and the choice in music is spot on 👌🏻🏜️
As a native from Baja California, I have to say Tecate has dropped almost to the basement...I suggest Bohemia beer... specially Cristal (silver can)...with Dos Equis close second...you LL never go back to Tecate...or anything else for that matter...
Beautiful film! I love the sonoran desert, it is my home. Y'all putting in the hard work! (nitpick: the music at 7-8 minutes was a bit incongruous, or too big or something).
Great video loved it! While I was clicking the link to patreons on your website to view your coordinates and camp spots it told me it could not be found! Really interested in it!! Thanks
I love your channel and aspire to build out my toyota pickup 1983 into a camper as well. i have been to baja a bunch in search of surf. Where is the beach at 34mn located ?
It would have far exceeded our build timeline, not the mention the camper portion would need a full floor rebuild and re-fibreglass. We would probably opt for a bigger engine instead 😈
As a person that has PATROLED the border and understand the dangers we now face there ! I personally would not travel in MEXICO at this time ! Shit is asbout to get real down there and HOSTAGES will be at a premium price! But hope you stay safe and ENJOY !!!! Now I have to pull the body off my 4runner and mount a CHINOOK ON THE FRAME Damn you Damn man why are you aired down that I could drive a YUGO in there

Loving your Toyota.. you guys pick the best time to hit baja. It has been one of the greenness time in a long time in Baja California. Keep it going..
You got that right! It's beautiful with everything in bloom.
WOW, I want to be on every trip you take. Love the scenery and really dig the music!
Thank you so much! Many more to come!

Welcome to Baja 😊

It’s so cool that you have this rig. You really can explore where most people can’t.
Thank you Melanie! It does pretty well for a house! :D

We are pretty stoked on how the setup is working!
This is your best video yet. Better than any show on TV or cable.
Wow! That’s so kind, thank you!
OMG you two, the scenery in this episode was next level!!! those sunsets! 😍😍😍 wow...
I can't wait for the next episode!
How amazing to catch these deserts after this historic wet season the amount of green is awesome not really what you picture for the desert 👍👍
We had no idea what we were in for. Pleasantly surprised that’s for sure!
Well done both of you - every squeal Stacey gives finding something new in the world makes my heart full - much love 🥰
The only way it would be better is if you were here too!
Super rad segment y’all!! What a journey.
Thank you!
Love that Chinook. My 5th grade teacher used to daily drive the same year truck and I always thought they were amazing rigs. Thanks for taking us along on your Baja adventure!
Thanks for being here! We hope to have a 2WD again one day as well, loved how that thing drove!

Wow! Absolutely Amazing! Awesome video!

Wow you guys make me proud. There are so many baja overlanders on utube but you are the first to show what it really is all about.
Go team
Thank you Terry, that's a huge compliment!

So tell me why is it we have all the ASPHALT in the world to make SPEED BUMPS but never enough to fill the POT HOLES ????
You guys are killin it!! Commenting at cha’ from Port Alberni 😂
Nice! Photos and videos never show how rough or steep things really are. Looking forward to the next instalment!
Feels like the 70’s with the Toyo
Great video guys! Epic cuts of your trip. ❤
Thanks Dave!
The best overlanding videos i have seen❤. You 2 are great at transmiting energy and vibes trough your films .
Thank you so much, we appreciate it!

I love seeing the real side of off-roading stess 😂 So many TH-camrs look calm and collected but my heart’s always racing during sketchy stuff
So true!
Fantastic drive. Best one so far balancing scenery and 4-wheeling challenges. Any local history, fauna and flora is welcome too. Thanks.
Thank you!
Wonderful... Really spectacular❤
This whole series has been great but this episode was truly EPIC!! What an adventure ! Well done...
Thank you my friend!!

Epic primer you guys! This is awesome. I am 35 days out from trying the entire Divide in my T4R! Can't wait!

This is a great video. Love the plants and the ecotones, from inland to sea you're experiencing! Looks like some decent surfing to be had as well....
Bring the surfboards down, we'll meet you in on the Pacific! :D

You’ve added to our plans! Thank you for the tip 🙏🏼
I wouldn't get very far, I'd be stopping the truck every 5 feet to identify and photograph the plants!! 😮wow!
Hahah yep! The curiosity!
Great video an scenery, haven’t even finished the video but it’s great
Thank you so much!
So cool guys! Videos just keep getting better and better !
That's the plan! Thanks for watching.

Top 5 camp spots so far.
It's so beautiful there!!
I might steal your tire and wheel choice 😉
It would be hard to blame you! ;)
You guys are awesome
Excellent vid guys.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Baja has a way of stealing your heart just when you are ready to throw in the towel.
It's a rollercoaster worth riding!
Planning to do the Pan myself next year in a RAV4 hybrid so will be following your trip very closely!
Heck yes!
Awesome video, great production!
Much appreciated!

Firmly noted! 6 cans for $4 is hard to pass up sometimes lol
Mun lend your voice to adverts, radio and tv voiceovers, its so crisp and good for docies.
Hah thank you!

Awesome content as always, care to share the LUT you’re using? 😊
Thank you! No LUT used here actually, Matthew colours each clip individually.
Let’s gooooo
If you guys are ever passing through El Paso I own a detailing business and would love to detail that beast!
We can always use a detail!!
Did you ever consider stretching the wheelbase to balance the front to rear weight better?
It would have far exceeded our build timeline, not the mention the camper portion would need a full floor rebuild and re-fibreglass. We would probably opt for a bigger engine instead 😈
Nice truck, but put a diesel motor in it for the next adventure, I'll join you guys in my 06 f350 6.0 super duty, I speak Spanish and Portuguese.
I'd be nervous as hell being way out there in a foreign country. At home I could care less.
I have never heard anyone refer to a "washboard" road as corrugated. Interesting. I mean, I guess a washboard is corrugated, so it makes sense.
What brand is your front bumper?
I believe it’s a custom by Westcan off-road.
Frank is right, custom made by Jason at www.westcanoverland.com
@@ToyotaWorldRunners thanks!
