- I was fortunate to visit the @Park4nightplus team at their head office in France. The experience was brilliant, but the highlight was being able to interview Bertrand Fichter, the CEO and Founder of the park4night app that is so well known and used by millions of motorhome and campervan users.
I can't thank Bertrand enough for the interview. It's quite rare for him to appear on camera, which is reflective of the company's ethos. They aren't seeking the limelight; their primary goal is to serve the community by providing an exceptional app that encourages users to immerse themselves in nature and explore the world.

i only use it occasionally but its such a great app when needed, lovely couple and i think a great ethos on keeping it for the user rather than just a money maker so have just took out the annual subscription, more to thank and support the app makers.
My parents live in Scotland, and their community gets tons of tourists in vans over the summer. Park4Night has become a curse for their town and community.
Every night people are plotting up in their vans in lay-bys, car parks, forest spots, even people lanes, driveways and gates. Then each morning, my parents and others in their village are having to go out to clean up discarded trash, fire pits, BBQs, even human waste and used condoms. It's so gross. And then the next day they have to do it all over again.
They hate it when spots in their village get published on Park4Night, it's ruining their community. They wish that app never got created.
Yes very true but one may argue if it's wasn't P4N it would be another app.

They sound like the perfect company, they make an excellent product and they’re not charging users excessively to make them mega bucks, just enough to ensure it continues to tick over, for the benefit of all.

Could you do a short about filling up with LPG in France. I have a bayonet fitting but the filling points in France are different. Are there adapters, if so where can I get one (I’m on the road in France and just about to cross over into Spain). Thanks.

Not much time for P4N. So many places now have height bars or banned to campervans because of this app.

Park 4 Night if you read this DO ALOT MORE RESEARCH into an area before clicking the "OK" button for any location to be added to your app, its having a real bad affect on wildlife in my area thanks to the amount of people not respecting the place or the wildlife. Look into if there's vulnerable wildlife or rare ground nesting birds or even if the land is privately owned. You need to take more responsibility.

I downloaded the app to see what locations were in my area. It didn’t fill me with confidence.
I hope the pak4night places stay for free, or cheap.
