I was very nervous at first, but I did exactly what Aisha said now I love it and the people are friendly! A week later I joined a class 2 days a week ( I go every weekday to gym). Em, cute trainers and clothes are motivation to go to the gym, Sometimes you need a break from illness, so happy you both enjoyed!

I know this is late...but I think you should try going to both gyms at different times. There will probably be times when things are more laid back, less crowded, etc. it could well be there will be time frames that feel more comfortable for you.
