You ARE stronger. When I sat down with my surgeon to discuss my treatment, he had a picture on his wall of a woman climbing a mountain. She had stage 4 breast cancer. He told me all cancers are different, but that I had to go in with an I CAN attitude. He promised me nothing, yet gave me so much. Because I simply lived and loved my life through it.

I understand what you're saying. My dad died of an inoperable brain tumour...but the journey made me realise you can fight for your life even if you accept that ultimately you're going to lose the fight. In a way knowing you having nothing to lose kind of frees people up to channel all their energy into the fight and if there's even a 1% chance of remission, the longer you're alive the better your chances! Winning each battle (side effects, pain, stress) may not be winning the war but no one ever won a war by not fighting the battles! Fighting means you can't lose even if the cancer wins. ♡♡♡ PS love your vlogs!

Hi ladies, tell Aisha to try stringing a thread across the opening (from one side to the other of the window frame) and hanging them over the string. You can do multiple strings to hang up as many as you need. We used to do this with Christmas cards.

Still works, eats healthy, takes supplements along with chemo, exercises and most of all has a great attitude like you. There has been no growth and his cancer has been stable this whole year. I totally agree that having a positive mindset does help in your cancer journey! I really think that the mind has a bigger influence on our body and health that we give it credit for. When my grandma got cancer she was told chances of her living for another five years were 2 percent. Well she was a fighter and was determined to not let cancer win, and she lived for those five years! Wishing you all the best!

On this day in 3 months darling Emily passed away and now looking back on this vlog it doesn't seem possible. She wasn't in denial, she was very aware that the brain tumours were very serious, but I love it that she was so positive and just wanted to live her best life every day. When I was given the diagnosis, I’m not going to lie, I was absolutely terrified. But then my fight kicked in and after surgery, chemo, Radiotherapy and now I take a maintenance drug I class myself as a survivor. I love watching you, you really have an infectious personality that makes people love you. I send you all the love and strength for this next blip, I know you are going to rock it and kick these tumours in the ass! Emily, you have to be the happiest, most positive girl ever going through such a massive struggle. I really believe that You have it in you to beat this! ❤️ The Positive attitude of a human being is so very important and I see it working for you.
If I thought she would read it, I would show this to my sister. Because she and I argue about cancer all the time. She believes you put your affairs in order and keep comfortable. I believe in rage, rage against the dying of the light. I have clinical background, and my sister distrusts science like so many people here. Emily had just the right mix of belief in positivity and belief in science. Science gave her EIGHT YEARS after a diagnosis of metastatic melanoma. Her attitude through this journey puts to bed the idea of someone "losing" a battle with cancer. To be as positive as she was, and to continue living to the fullest for whatever time is left, the say she did (and the way Dan Thomas -- peeweetoms -- is) is how you kick cancer's ass. Because what cancer doesn't realize is that when it takes over, it's killing itself. As I watch these videos, some for the first time, some because for some reason I NEED to pretend that she is still here, I'm ever more aware of just what a force of nature what she was, how special she was, how TALENTED a videographer she was. We've been privileged to be able to be able to have her in our lives, even if just virtually.

She's not got cancer she has had skin cancer but is in remission, but she has pneumonia and problems digesting food so she is only 5 stone , just wanted to say that your vlog has been so inspiring and given me hope that we can fight to get her better , YOUR SO strong and should be proud not just of where you are but of how u affect other people

I totally agree that having a positive mindset does help in your cancer journey! I really think that the mind has a bigger influence on our body and health that we give it credit for. When my grandma got cancer she was told chances of her living for another five years were 2 percent. Well she was a fighter and was determined to not let cancer win, and she lived for those five years! Wishing you all the best!

On this day in 3 months darling Emily passed away and now looking back on this vlog it doesn't seem possible. She wasn't in denial, she was very aware that the brain tumours were very serious, but I love it that she was so positive and just wanted to live her best life every day. Only came across your vlogs at the weekend when one popped up as a suggestion. You are local to me and I think that's why I watched the first few. Then I was hooked on your absolute commitment to life. You are such an inspiration not just to others in your situation but to the rest of us too. Hey Emily, firstly can i just say I think you are absolutely awesome and a breath of fresh air. I was diagnosed with an aggressive form of Breast Cancer in 2013. When I was given the diagnosis, I’m not going to lie, I was absolutely terrified. But then my fight kicked in and after surgery, chemo, Radiotherapy and now I take a maintenance drug I class myself as a survivor. I love watching you, you really have an infectious personality that makes people love you. I send you all the love and strength for this next blip, I know you are going to rock it and kick these tumours in the ass! Emily, you have to be the happiest, most positive girl ever going through such a massive struggle. I really believe that You have it in you to beat this! ❤️ The Positive attitude of a human being is so very important and I see it working for you.
If I thought she would read it, I would show this to my sister. Because she and I argue about cancer all the time. She believes you put your affairs in order and keep comfortable. I believe in rage, rage against the dying of the light.
I have clinical background, and my sister distrusts science like so many people here. Emily had just the right mix of belief in positivity and belief in science. Science gave her EIGHT YEARS after a diagnosis of metastatic melanoma. Her attitude through this journey puts to bed the idea of someone "losing" a battle with cancer. To be as positive as she was, and to continue living to the fullest for whatever time is left, the say she did (and the way Dan Thomas -- peeweetoms -- is) is how you kick cancer's ass. Because what cancer doesn't realize is that when it takes over, it's killing itself. As I watch these videos, some for the first time, some because for some reason I NEED to pretend that she is still here, I'm ever more aware of just what a force of nature what she was, how special she was, how TALENTED a videographer she was. We've been privileged to be able to be able to have her in our lives, even if just virtually.

I'm currently sat in the hospital with my 47 year old mum . She's not got cancer she has had skin cancer but is in remission, but she has pneumonia and problems digesting food so she is only 5 stone , just wanted to say that your vlog has been so inspiring and given me hope that we can fight to get her better , YOUR SO strong and should be proud not just of where you are but of how u affect other people

Hey Emily, I just want to say it breaks my heart what you are going through but you have such a positive attitude.My mum has terminal Ovarian cancer and i currently waiting on palliative care support she has had it for over 7 years and fought it very hard.
