  • I have had these shoes for a year now and fell in love. If you are like me and don’t like spending a lot of money on shoes this is for you.

I have Lems Boulder Boot and 9to5s. I love them both, and I'm about to order Primal 2s. Thanks for the straightforward review!

I actually have mine on today while I am work. They are a great everyday shoe.

Great shoes and review. Xeroshoes Prio running shoes are also worth a look too

Very nice. I used to always wear Newton Kismets the original version 4mmlow drop shoes and never got injured. But didn’t like the newer versions of the Newtons so I started using other shoes (unfortunately higher heel to toe drops) and ever since I’m always having injuries. You’re review just made me pull the trigger and order these Lems Primal 2s in black as well as the brown Lems NinetoFives (already have the blacks NinetoFives). I got the black Lems NinetoFives a month ago and love them so much I wear them for long walks after working in them all day. I actually prefer wearing the Lems NinetoFives for walks than my Brooks running shoes. I’m curious to know which are your favorite running shoes since you said you only use these Lems Primals for short runs??Thank you and subscribed

I also ran in Newtons for several months but experienced leg pain when I wore them. I typically run in Altras. I prefer the zero drop shoe to stay injury free. I have found that the Saucony Kinvara to be a decent shoe.

    Hello Jared,
The site does not offer half sizes and I wanted your opinion. I wear an 8.5 in shoes but for my running shoes I usually go a full size up to avoid toe injuries. Do you feel these are true to size and ordering my usual size of 8.5 will work perfectly?
I actually don't plan to wear these for running just for my day to day since I am transitioning to barefoot shoes with wider toe boxes. I own the Lem's Boulder Summit boot and went a half size up on those and they fit PERFECTLY but since this shoe doesn't offer half sizes I am torn between getting my usual size or going a full size up, but I don't want them to be huge on me. I appreciate any help you can give with sizing 😊

I am a 9.5 US in Brooks Ghost 14 nd 4E width and same in New Balance 880 V11. I have 3 pairs of Primal 2 and in size 10 because as you said no hald sizes. However, just recently Lems told me haf sizes were coming middle of 2023.
They are slight long for me nd I can get heel slip. However, the way I tie them stops heel slip completely. Given I can stop heel slip completely I would probably prefer the size 10 over the comig 9.5 and simplt because the size 10 gives me just that extra room uo front. So if yur are an 8.5 then I would get the size 9. The Primal 2 are very flexible with how you tie them and resuts are good. The shoe tends to wrap around your foot as they have no structure.

Primal is very nice and comfortable shoe especially walking all day but durability is not good. The leathery portion frays and the mesh snags and frays too. Could really improve in that area.
