Another great shoe. The 360 shoe by Xeroshoes is also great for cross training/gym work... Lems is worth it though.

They’re listed on the Lems website at 10.5 ounces. Trailheads I believe weigh in at 11 and feel they’re extremely light. Who’s right??

A lot of reviews about this shoe stated the toe box is not wide enough. How do you feel about yours? Able to splay your feet?

They are definitely not clown shoe wide, but I had no issues at all with toe splay. I would still size up a half size from your foot measurement to get the best fit possible.

I just ordered the Primal 2s after I watched your review on those a few minutes ago and after watching this video I think I should have gone with these. What are your thoughts? I’m coming from decent cushioned Brooks and enjoy running 5k to marathons

I forgot to add.. I’m suffering from multiple herniated discs in my lower back . Do you think the Primals might be to rough coming from Brooks and ASICS?

It all depends on your goal. I think the Primal 2 is a great recovery shoe to wear out and about to give your feet a chance to splay and can also be a good shoe for short runs to get used to a zero drop shoe. They are super light as well. The Primal Pursuit gives you more comfort overall but is much heavier. I would go slow and if running in a standard Brooks find a shoe in between with maybe a 4mm drop to start getting use to a lower stack height. Personally I would not run a marathon in any of the Lems. If I’m running anything over a 10K I prefer Altra for a zero drop running shoe.
