- On Vizhinjam International Seaport CEO-Adani Ports and SEZ Ltd Karan Adani on July 12 said that the Adani’s Vizhinjam International Seaport will boost Indian manufacturing. While speaking to ANI, he highlighted the key benefits of the seaport. Vizhinjam International Seaport in Kerala is a critical economic infrastructure project promoted by the Government of Kerala in a Public Private Partnership (PPP) mode. It is the largest private sector investment in Kerala. After winning the bid, Adani Ports and Logistics formed a Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV), Adani Vizhinjam Port Private Limited (AVPPL), to develop the project.

It's a Kerala State govt project with Adani being the highest bidder, CG doesn't have much role in it, like many of the projects in South India. CG does all the good things in North India.
Andi aanu.. onnu poda.. only one name.. Oommen Chandy.. the man who selflessly chased down Adani group and convince them make the investment.. nobody else deserves any credit..

CG has little role in this projects, it wasn't envisioned by them. Yeah Oommen Chandi and his cabinet has the main role, that still is SG.
National Highways are built in the entire country by CG, that's not the role of SG. For every 1 rupee a keralite pay in taxes to CG, 80 paise is given back in the form of Highways and other infrastructure projects, whereas UP and Bihar gets several times more than what they pay they get the 14 lane expressway and what else. Also, NH is built on a PPP model, there will be toll booths everywhere - that means people are paying for this with their money.

Every CG so far - whether it's BJP or congress - has been neglecting Kerala in development projects.
I am very excited to watch this news. Because we are strted the journey since 2000 but the more execution has happened on 2011 onwards, and the project is completed now. Then we really appreciate to each political parties like Congress, communist, BJP etc.
Then we really miss one guy at this moment as Sri Oommen Chandy sir like he was the key person for this project. Finally we hope that this port is give more pride to kerala and also its effect our economical and social well being.
God save Adani's from illiterate CPM / CITU leaders of Kerala....
