@JackofAllCarbinc we replaced hot and cold stem valves and middle diverter stem valve and all 3 brass seats, but there is still cold water spilling out of the faucet itself. Any idea what is going on? It’s a stronger flow than what you had in this video 😫
only thing i can think is the gasket in the faucet might be torn or not tight enough, once you turn off water there is still water in the line that water creates pressue and if the shower head or faucet have seals after time those go out due to the pressure, you can release that pressure by everytime your done showering open the faucet side thru the diverter so basically once you are done showring and turn off the water turn the diverter to the faucet side ....that should release any water in the line out of the faucet ...other than that sorry not sure, if you resolve issue please let us know what the problem was that way can help others.
@JackofAllCarbinc so my mom was buying the parts separately, the stem valves first, then gaskets. What ended up fixing it was replacing the entire kit with all parts of the same kit. Thank you for your help, and sorry to respond so late!
Awesome thanks. Right to the point i love it
Your welcome and glad it helped.
You the best 😊
thank you

You're welcome!
okay I replaced both handles. works great but it still leaks... now what?
where is it leaking from? the center valve can also be replaced which is sold as part of kit.
That tool looks like a spark plug wrench, is it the same size?🤔
