Congratulations on four years!! I've been going for three. It is a work in progress. I'm so thankful and grateful for this. Your right, any amount can work. It's about discipline and sacrifice. For me even though it's online but I write down all my finances and keep tracking.
I started this year with the cash system, and it works great! Just last month our fridge said „no more working for ya!“ and the 400 € for the new fridge didn’t crash our daily life and bills and stuff. Just because I had money saved for electronics and a small emergency fund (because electronics hadn’t enough money haha). So now it’s time to refill the envelopes haha
I feel like I just got clarification. I am type A and your explanation was amazing. Please keep up with the videos. I am so happy. Broke yes but trying so hard. I am on disability for many illness and believe me money is tight!
I just started using a budget binder and I was initially confused about going about it, but my main priority was bills. It’s been amazing to actually see where I am putting my money into. I came across your video and it’s been so helpful with understanding the process. Thank you for uploading!
I watch a few cash budgeters, but I have to say yours is the best. You are always up front with us, and you do not hide anything but your rent and that is completely understandable. I like how you explain things, and how you are just you. You are amazing. Thanks for the content, I will be buying stickers soon, Just got my Erin C. Planner in the mail. Keep the videos coming. Can you do a video where talk about what to make as your sinking funds? Thanks.
when I started I used the same book and then everybody kept showing diff books and I started using happy planner. It doesn't matter the budget is the most important and cash stuffing is important and helpful.
I'm so glad you came up on my feed. This is so interesting. But my head is spinning, after watching all this. I make $17/hour, in Southern California. And I'm enrolled in community college, to study for a well-paying skill/career (starting over in life, at age 51). And i hope to be making way more money, in maybe a year or so. So this may be difficult for me to do rn. But I'll see what i can do. Thanks for the information & inspiration!
Hi, I am very late in viewing this video. I want you to know that this has been the BEST video that explains in detail for me to understand budgeting, the difference between the different categories and how to cash stuff for "ME". Thank you so much, I'm so glad I've found you. I can't wait to start!
I dont cash stuff my bills because i pay them by direct debit and kept not depositing the cash in time and then going overdrawn when the bill went out 😅 so glad to hear you say I can leave that part out for now. They are on my budget but not in my cash stuffing wallet and that seems to work for me. I am not in a financial position to work towards being a month ahead as I'm in the home stretch of paying off debt and need to build an emergency savings fund for all my expenses as I am having some job insecurity
I've watched numerous videos on cash stuffing and yours was by far the best! You were extremely detailed in your explanation. I found this incredibly helpful. Thank you!
A great explanation for getting started! I am a senior who has done better financially by just stuffing my variables and staying away from the bank and all my debit/credit cards. ❤
Most thorough video I've found yet. I'm just getting started with all this so I'm taking it on little by little, so I can thoroughly understand it and not overwhelm myself. I will be coming back to this one often. And if people come for you about using a calculator just remember that a whole lot of us think this video is fantastic and couldn't care less if you do the math in your head or use a calculator!! lol
I absolutely LOVE this list. I will definitely be adding some of these to my routine next year. Good for you for taking self care as a priority. Enjoy your holidays. ❤
I think I've shared my perspective with you on other videos, I hope I wasn't just complaining. Thank you for introducing this plan for saving. And I value your other videos as well. Everyones situation is different and hearing different perspectives is helpful. Also I feel like your platform is a place where I've been able to voice concerns or stresses without being told I'm not doing enough or my feelings are unveiled. You come up with kind solutions and really listen to us. Thank you 😊
A very clear explanation of how to b-,udget for those who are new to this world of knowing where our money is going. And how we are making it work for us.
I really like how you are explaining everything! In some of the videos that I have watched, it seems pretty overwhelming! I really want to start this. We just retired earlier this year and I like the challenge of it! thanks so much for sharing! xoxo
First time watching your video. I recently started looking into starting this system. I'm going to watch more of your videos. And I'm interested in purchasing your stickers. Great ideas. Thanks
When those envelopes are full thinking about putting the money into a high yield saving account. Just make sure you keep track of how much is in there for your different areas of saving.
@@yotagerlie I’d rather use a high yield savings account so that I still have access to my money without penalty or restrictions. A CD with a bank is a way for a bank to hold on to your money and profit off of. You can’t touch the money until you reach the term.
Great video Sis!! I enjoy watching always. The cash stuffing and budgeting method has helped me get out of debt. Excited for the sticker kits. I will be talking advantage of it. Hope you have a great weekend too 46:45 ❤
Not a beginner here, but I've been seriously slacking since I moved again Really need to get back into it and stop buying household appliances on credit 😀
i have set a goal in my budget planner. i got this accordion index card holder and i got like 6 cash envelopes/ 2 sinking funds started. if by january of next year i stick with my budget goal i will invest in getting a cute binder. i love the rose gold and the pink envelopes they are soooo cute!
I am south of Houton in Angleton so that hurricane hit us hard. Glad you and your family are ok. Thanks for the video. I'm new to cash stuffing and very excited to learn all about it.
New subscriber here! Very thorough. Micro managing and planning. I think the object is to stay busy writing and stuffing so you don't have time for anything but to earn the money and get busy planning and sinking it. Write, count, stuff, zip, snap🤓🤑. Thanx for sharing.
My question is do I need to separate the money for paying my bills and my personal accountant? If so, how do I do that or do I just mark it in the journal and double check it in my checking account. I do a lot of things digitally we pay all our bills onlineyet would like to have it categorized somehow. Also, do you pull cash out at the bank or how do you do that?
I do something very similar to this channel, except I use accounts. My primary checking receives my pay and is used to pay bills. I set up automatic transfers on payday. Variable expenses go into a second checking account, sinking funds go into a savings account, emergency fund and long term savings goals goes into a high yield savings account. I check the budget before moving money from a savings account to a spending account (insurance for example. I pay that 2x year but budget it monthly. I move it from savings to primary checking when it's due). Having the money in separate accounts helps remind me its there for a purpose because every dollar has a job to do. Best wishes to you!
I am new to cash envelope budgeting and organized budgeting in general. I would like to purchase your planner, but when I visited the EC website, I wasn't sure which planner you would recommend. Could you please help point me in the right direction? I would greatly appreciate your assistance. I’m so glad I found you! This is a fantastic video, and I just subscribed.
I really love how you explained everything. Sadly, even if I received checks, I have no access to banks. So I can't do anything with cash, also get paid bi-weekly and it isn't the easiest to find budgeting concerning that type of pay period. ❤ I love your video though.
Hi Mandy, I use the cashless system as I find it works better for me. Look for some videos. Instead I hv a bank account for each “cash envelope” that way I just transfer cash online to my card before I make a purchase
You wear your rings on about the same fingers as one of my characters. He wears his rings on his right index finger, right ring finger, left middle finger, and left pinky finger 💚
Hey! Great video as always❤ Glad to hear your family is doing ok considering the Beryl disaster. I have a niece in Houston and was without power for three days. Just put in my August order. Also is it an option for you to add your check mark stickers to your Etsy shop. I love the idea of subscriptions, so I don't have to order every month, I will just receive ❤❤❤
This was so refreshing!! I ve watched a lot of videos since starting cash stuffing in February and this was the best video yet. I just had to do a reset because I was falling off and I learned a lot in this video that I believe will help me stay on task. I will be borrowing the high priority and low priority binder idea because that’s how I messed up; mixing binders and envelopes when I was in need. However, thank you so much for explaining EVERYTHING in plain English 😊. You officially have a new follower!!! I really want your budget planner and I went to the website using your link but I don’t see that version. Did you personalize your planner?
I just stumbled across your video. I would like to know where I can get the exact same planner as you. I haven’t finished the video yet, but maybe it’ll say at the end.
Have you ever done a video on doing a budget, with no cash? Like if someone uses their credit cards and then uses their money to pay that off so they really aren’t dealing with any cash? I’m so used to it that I feel like it would be really hard to switch to cash but also I like using my credit card to get the points and use that to help pay things off as well. I also once heard about using fake money to stuff wallets ? Any thoughts on that?
how do you know how many 1,5,10,20,50 dollar bills you’ll need when getting money out of the bank? i will have extra to put into saving challenges so is there a certain way to pull that money out?
Do you do this as a job? I mean do you help others with getting started in budgeting/saving money outside of TH-cam? You said you’re in Houston. I’m outside of Houston. I really need help with my money. That’s why I was asking.
Hey. Great video! I’ve been struggling for so long now. And I’m glad to have ran across your video. But im not able to afford the calendar/planner binders etc maybe one or the other what do you suggest I do I’ve been off work for a while just had surgery. I really wanna start this as I’m basically alone with everything I do expect to start work next month but wanna have what I need as I have no support system. Are there other materials I can use to accomplish the same thing
My budget is 1,043 in cash 643 food stamps after all my fixed I am left with 543 to spend my m home and extra how do I cash stuff for this. I owe back rent and would like to pay that off.
This is the best explanation of all these things! Thank youuuuuuuu

Great video Jenika 😊 I got started back in college and it's been a great journey. Sinking funds prepare you and an emergency fund saves you.
I'm about to get a job and am really excited to start budgeting myself!!
I feel like I just got clarification. I am type A and your explanation was amazing. Please keep up with the videos. I am so happy. Broke yes but trying so hard. I am on disability for many illness and believe me money is tight!
Hi just save $5 a week and see how that works. Start off with small amounts. I hope this helps.
Please check out Dr. Brooke Goldner for your illnesses 🙏🏾❤️

I felt compelled to comment, Bravo to YOU! Starting over is beyond difficult. Kudos to you for all that you're doing ( in case no one has told you!!!)
Consistency is key and re-evaluating as life changes.
Exactly!
Great video, been cash stuffing for about 1 yr and I love it, it really does make a difference.
Mindset change for the best
Thank you for this, I didn't know the difference between variable expenses and sinking funds

Glad you and your family are safe. As always enjoyed your content.
This was the best explanation to begin cash stuffing

What do you mean when you cash envelopes. Is this like money from you paycheck you can spend from extra left over .
Are you a finance major or graduate? Thank you for all the valuable information you have given, it has been really helpful. I'm a first time viewer.
How can I get the planner exactly like yours. I mean could you help me with setting one up

What do you suggest I do because my husband doesn’t want to do this? How can I still live by a budget?
great video on explaining
Sis where did u get the paycheck inserts. I did order the erin condren but did see the paycheck dashbord.

Hello! What is the exact planner you used?
Where would you suggest buying the clear cash envelopes? I checked etsy and they are Spendy!! 😮
Have you got a vid on $300 income? or can you do a vid for $300 budget?
