When I got all the armor and got rich everyone started calling me knight and I was like :O
Yeah, I was just starting and found a bunch of cumans in the woods, killed them, took their armor and eventually killed some higher level bandits though sheer luck, the second you don some nice armor everyone just thinks your a knight.
When you wear plate armour they call you a knight because knights wore plate armour

Can confirm that the contents of the 1st chest were the same for me even without the DLC. Also, for anyone wondering you do not have to have the map for the grave to appear.
The 5th chest with the VERY Hard lock contains
-Dark plate armour jacket
-2 books
-Warhorse brigandine
-Warhorse Hauberk
-Yew long bow, best bow Ive found thus far.
and other stuff
And 4th Chest has a godly Warhammer that smashes armor like chess.

The 5th chest contains: Dark Plate-Armour Jacket, 300 coin, decorated riding boots, lucky die, recipe for embrocation, the rule of St. Nicholas 3, and a Yew Longbow
Without the pre-order, these locations do not contain the special Warhorse Studios armor.

There are Treasure maps (which you buy or acquire from npcs) and then there are the Ancient Maps which you got for pre ordering. So If you see a Treasure map with 1 - 5 it is different from the Ancient Maps.
A very hard lockpick? Yeah that's for late game. I got into the easy one though. Resonant, you just gotta do it slowly.. smoothly.. and with great patience. Warhorse Studios made their locks like women, gotta be gentle before you get the goodies

As someone who has picked locks before, this mini game is so terribly inaccurate. It is nowhere near as hard in real life as it is in this game. Besides that, the locks in the Middle Ages would be really easy to pick because the keyholes are so huge. I don’t think they’d have the tension to break a pick either, but I could be wrong, picks don’t break like they do in video games. Locks weren’t too cheap if I’m not mistaken. They weren’t mass produced until the industrial revolution. I love this game, but there are some big problems with lock picking in this game.
Mr Bear i have tried very gentle iv tried fast i have spent so many hours reloading the damn game doing it over and over and over trying different doors to not just that 1 chest but 1 after the next lockpick has broken i have probably broke over 100 lockpicks doing it different ways believe and im very sorry to say what you say is wrong, and these are easy chests and doors to theirs a bunch of people ready to take the game back im one of them since i like being an assassin and thief i would understand if it was hard if it was a hard door or med door but this is fuuucked up and cant get in this is the first game i have played where a lock pick is this hard on something that said it is easy on a door im still wondering wtf they were thinking with this as a mini game and not fixing it before the release

Maarten M I picked all the chest and got everything but I did not find a warhorse hose. It doesn't make since that they give you every armor slot except the hose
These are treasure chests... Im sure if u dig enough u can find a dead horse somewhere not sure its gonna do you any good xd

I found Chest 4 by accident after installing the Royal Edition, was doin a quest for Bernard killing bandits and found some interesting site with a chest hidden inside. Can't believe I accidentally found some of the armor hours after installing it.

The hard chest in the burnt camp just before the grave shown on map 1 - that had a couple of valuable items (goblet and something else), some groschen (about 75), a Savior Schnapps and a Bucks Blood potion.
I did not 'pre-order' so when I opened the Grave (map 1) there was everything in there except the Warhorse Waffenrock - but I was able to find the grave quite easily from your video, without the map.

Got into the 5th chest, it contains a dark plate armor jacket with 18 for stabbed and / 7 for blunt, decorated riding boots, about 300 groschen, a loaded dice, recipe for embrocation, a skill book level 3 on pickpocketing, warhorse brigandine, warhorse hauberk, and yew longbow.

I dont know why ppl are rambling about lockpicking?... it‘s damn easy, except that it doesnt lvl fast and you cant open locks that are „too high“ in skill lvl
If you're on consoles its an absolute nightmare to lockpick unless you're really close to the starting point
J-25 it’s not now they added a simplified setting and it’s so easy now
Mine is unchanged, but still i find it easy and if ur lockpicking is lv 6 u can get luck of the drunk and open a lot of locks easily

Miller in Rattay sells them lockpicks and the dude in Talmberg at the entrance of fort on right side there is a trader that sells lockpicks, also make and use padfoot potion, gives +5 to lockpicking, pickpocketing and stealth if i remember correct, if u lvl 5 at lockpicking u can use that potion and open Hard lockpicks, helps lvling

No you can't get them without the pre order. Pre order was definitely worth it imo.
You can get them without the pre-order but I did notice that I wasn’t getting the same gear as you. I was just missing the “War-Horse” gear. Which makes sense but still found great armor. Thanks for the guide.

There is also another treasure map with the scribe in Rattay next to the chronicle book when your looking for limpy, its on the bookshelf.

The hard locked chest at the beginning at the burned out camp has about 70 coins and some valuable trinkets... skippable, but worth picking up if you can. The Warhorse armor wasn't in the chests for me (didn't preorder)... still good loot though.

On that first one there’s a burnt down shack a little ways down closer to the charcoal burners with a chest with a hard lock on it. It must be good for it to be a hard one. Someone check it for me! Nice vids man 👍

It was a Buck potion, silver goblet, small gold goblet, and some coin when I picked the lock and opened it.

I am on console, Xbox One specifically. It just takes practice, I picked it up fairly quickly after save scumming the first lockpicking mission to practice. After that i could pick hard locks without problem.

wow! quite interesting! i saw some videos of eso, when he ignored these maps and start from the dust doing just some quests and it was very interesting (although he plays it very douchy style). but you have real treasure from the start and you can play it totally diferent way. it looks that this game has very solid base as for as story and quest and it is really very unlinear and branched in every aspect. potential of this game is huge, especially if they will start some realm playing...
i am actually loving the game so much. GOnna share my experiences and do a review very soon

Have you guys heard of the treasure in Skalitz,it's pretty good about 271 groschen, a good sword, an odd die, bivojs rage potion, and about two other things that are pretty good.

I spent two or three hours just going around in Rattay picking every single lock I could. (I'm on PS4.)
And now I can reliably pick "Very Hard" locks on doors, like 100% of the time, although "Very Hard" locks on trunks are much harder and oftentimes take me tens of tries on a bad day.

Found it. The first treasure from the first map that is, thanks man.
I cracked the hard chest on the way to the first map and there was about 70 coins, some goblets (one gold both having a decent value ~100) and a potion and a savior schnapps.
For everone that's playing on PC with a controller (like me), take this advice from me: for lockpicking, ALWAYS use keyboard and mouse. You just have to press a button to turn the lock instead of using the left stick and the mouse is WAY more precise than your right stick (at least for me). With the controller, I wasn't even able to lockpick very easy locks.. with mouse and keyboard, I managed an easy lock in my first try (havn't tried harder locks yet).
I can't speak for mouse and keyboard but contoler is really fucking easy yo pick locks with. I just opened the very hard lock. Only used 3 lock picks and I'm not even that high of a lock pick level

I like how each location you mention a random area on the map, then Mark the actual location where we need to be, then proceed to go to the location further away a third time? without just giving us the actual spot on the map for each chest!
I opened the 4th chest and it contained:
Fashionable slippers
Grochen - 200.9
Heavy hammer
Lightweight dark brigandine
Recipe for lullaby potion
Silver ring
Strip die - apparently it can strip more than one maiden...
Warhorse helmet - 24 def. !
Warhorse shoes
You also get the 5 maps if you purchase the DLC bundle, along with Mutt. I’ve only just started playing a few days ago so I’m not sure what else you get
Yew Longbow, The Rule of St. Nicholas III, Lucky Die, Warhorse Brigandine, Warhorse Hauberk, Dark Plate-armor Jacket, Decorated Riding Boots, + a recipe book but I already used it. Oh, and some coin, can not remember how much, maybe 2,500.
. . . That's interesting. I got the game on release date, not pre-ordered, and I got the maps and gambeson in my home chest.

SparrowFae you prob got the preorder version or like the day one. Usually most game give u pre order/ day one content even after day one. GameStop does it all the time too
At the second treasure, if you walk south to the worlds edge, then east you will find another mine with another sack. Had a 150 piercing arrows an ash bow and some other things.
I had to avoid a group of killers and found it.
The special edition comes with everything my dudes, had the game for a little over a week.

Near the first chest there is a camp where a man has poisened himself, inside their is a chest and inside is a very nice Noble plate chest, sword and boots
If you do the mission that unlocks the millers then you can buy lock picks from the millers or a merchant in the middle of talmburg
If no one else has said it, dark plate-armor jacket, decorated riding boots, warhorse brigandine, yew longbow, recipe for embrocation, the rule of saint Nicholas, and I think a lucky die...Plus some gold naturally.
All and all only one good item, yew bow which is bis, I could only get village yew bow from rattay so running for miles to get this bow was worth it.
Dark plate brig looks good for a bandit king style I'm thinking about making.

You can buy picks from the millers. Select sell stolen goods and it will open a vendor menu. From which you can purchase lock picks.

Anibal Diaz well not exactly. In a big battle AI might be more efficient at commanding their troops formations and movements, while players have to focus on combat. AI will always have the advantage as they do not care about time, they could just play defensive each battle while the player is forced to be the one going offensive. Also AI lords get troops from thin air after waiting like 1 ingame day in some random castle so it doesn't really matter anyways. Field battles are completely meaningless unless you capture the lord in question, but even then they will most likely escape after few days. Also the AI does not pay wages and cannot go to debt so it's pretty much rigged from the start. It's not OP at all. Why do you think the AI can afford having 800 strong armies with mostly high-end troops? While still affording to pay mercenary companions to accompany them and paying their garrisons as well as the food for their troops? AI in RTS games do not fight fair with equal terms. They always cheat, which is the reason I cheat too. I hope Bannerlord will fix this bullshit and actually make it a fun campaign instead of you getting fucked up by all factions at once because having 99 right to rule still gets you in war with everyone when you take a castle or a town. Absurd indeed.
BoneyHD warband has campaign coop mod but it's buggy. Then bugs get really bad more turns you take. Maybe someone can make a good mod for this.
You can buy lockpicks from the Miller clan, access the "Sell stolen stuff" option and go on buy.

a found a golden chest plate it's in one of the mini islands in the river in front of sasau, actually south of the monastery und on the east side of the bridge that goes over the river i mean
you will also need a shovel

I can crack hard locks and in that burn camp chest has money, communion chalice, small golden goblet, and a saving position and I also found in the woods an barons house and he was poised and in his chest is a noble sword and chest plate

In the hard Chest in the beginning of your video is a Potion, Coin and valuables such as goblets and other trinkets you can paddle
Im training for the upper left Very Hard Chest, bit it aint easy
first map the chest at the burnt out camp is some money a normal and gold chalice along with a potion i think contents are random but it is the same as you normally find in the chests at the bandit camps when you clean them out
the fourth map has the warhorse helmet very nice compared to the previous helmet and an upgraded chest plate the fifth map i don't think my skill is high enough yet because just trying to start it breaks the pick so i'm guessing i need to level the skill some odd to me cause the lockpicking started out hard but quickly became very easy
I figured out lock picking!! Get the cursor to the orange, then turn both as fast as you can and it'll click open, it doesn't give the game anytime to break your picks

I got the Royal Edition yesterday and loaded my game save up and accidentally found the Warhorse helmet and shoes in the forest doing a quest for Bernard where I had to kill bandits, I couldn't believe it.
That sigh at around 2:32 basically sums up this game.
I was at the camp thats burnt and thought the trunk was the pre order stuff. Well after watching this i realized it was so close
been through that them ruins so many times but never bothered to check

I just got the final chest. The very hard one. It has the warhorse chest plate that is untextured from what I'm seeing. As in its a bright purple glitchy looking thing.
The chest at the burned out camp had 72 groschen, 2 golden cups, a savior schnapps and bucks blood potion for me. It was a hard level chest for me.
Unlocked the hard chest in the burned out camp its got a potion, chalice, goblet, some groschen and saviour schnapps in it !
There is a poacher camp near the mine shaft chest that literally has a orange traffic cone next to a chest in a wooden hunter stand.
I saw map on sale - it had number "IX" so there must be pretty a lot of them.

You need to finish the good thief mission then go to the other miller to give the ring then three merchants will sell lockpicks and restock them every 5 days in game

you have to have the dlc for the warhorse armor. all other items at the location are there though
in Talmberg the trader on the right coming in the main gate sells lockpicks, he's sitting on the bench

Well the first chest is actually rather easy to get into. But it maintains the warhorse helmet & shoes. Also another warhammer
The last chest has the WH Hauberk and either the waffenrock or the brigandine cant remember which one came from there... a lucky die, 200 groschen and skillbooks

I can raise the level of quick lockpick going to rattay opening doors in all houses and chests, it's easy, if you get caught do not pay, go to jail and when you get free, all doors will be closed, I could reach level 16 in only 3 hours approximately, another thing is u can get good items from all chest but u cant get warhorse items if u dont have the DLC or pre-purchace or whatever u use to get thoses maps.
I unlocked the burnt camp chest and there is some chalices to sell and a couple semi useful potions not a big deal
I was just walking around and I found a camp with an open chest the chest was full of epic gear that is the best I've currently found in the game
Bought a map from a wayfarer it had some great stuff in it!
The special edition copy of the game has this dlc too i just had to put it on my UK account since my main acc was american and the code was european
