this is the most realistic note-making video I've seen so far. Every other video I've seen so far shows the process as easy and time-efficient but they are NOT. Great method, thank you.
Hi, for your problem with retaining knowledge try adding Anki to your daily review/study routine it has helped me massively as I have had a similar problem in the past. Also, this was literally a perfect video, thank you!❤
Thank you! I cant wait till my air 4 arrives so that I can finally use it for 2nd year of MBBS, I've been having ton of notes on micro and parasit just lying around.... I can use these methods to plan out the rest
Hey, when you consolidate your learning by making mindmaps and filling in the gaps with what you forgot, how do you then learn the bits you forgot? Do you try re create it again from memory and see what you missed again or is there another way you do so? Thanks for the video btw, was really useful.
So I’d basically go over the bits I forgot again and then a week or two later I come back to it and try and recreate the mind map again. Usually the 2nd time I remember much more :-). Thank you!!
Aww thank you! I honestly don’t understand how people have the time to make those beautiful notes for every lecture … there’s not enough hours in the day 😅
2x speed is relatable. my lecturer speak for almost 2 hours and i managed to finish it way faster than that 😂 and the last method is really helpful. i might try it thanks for the tip !!
May I ask...I’m having a hard time deciding between an iPad Air (4) 64gb with the magic keyboard and pencil or the 256gb. My budget is tight, but I’ll get the education discount. The difference between the 256 air and 128 pro is like $50. But the 64 air would give me room for accessories and no waiting. I sold my MacBook Air laptop to make this happen. I have a desktop iMac I rarely use. Main use for iPad will be writing papers, web browsing, email, bit of zoom, media consumption and streaming, reading, editing photos, some note taking and light drawing. Playing some games on Apple Arcade. It will be my first iPad in many years and I’m really excited. What would you do? Is 64gb enough?
i find 64gb has been enough but i think i will eventually run out because i use it a lot... it sounds like you're gonna be using the ipad about the same as me so 64gb might be good enough! if you've got the spare money I would maybe invest in a bit more space x
Recently subscribed and been loving all your videos! A tip I have from using an iPad at uni is maybe getting a paper like screen protector, not too expensive on amazon, and makes the feeling of writing so much nicer than on such a smooth screen! ☺️
Hey! Do you ever feel that you should have a more screen real estate as the ipad pro 12.9??? Or this size is perfectly fine for note taking?? I'm so much confused regarding the size of the ipad... Which one should I buy..?
Hey amazing video, you have very preety notes, im torn myself between the new ipad air and the 12.9 ipad pro, which would you think would be a better investment in the long run?
personally, my budget would only stretch to the Air. I honestly love it and although the Pro has the best specs, if you're just going to be using it for note taking I honestly think the Air is perfect x
@@LydiaMartinMedic yea that was my thoughts exactly I wanted to paperless this year and wasn’t really trying to run any complex functions on my device, I think the air is perfect as I can use the money I saved to buy better accessories

Do you think it is easier to take lectures from home as you can get down all key info and pause while you are writing? Also when the lectures are in person again can you record lectures so you can go back over them if needs be ? Do you think that would be useful or not?
I defo find it easier from home - when I used to go to lectures I would zone out and miss like 20 mins and then I felt like I’d wasted my time 🥲 I won’t like, pre recorded lectures do work well for me... and when I did my last degree all the lectures were recorded anyway so I’m used to learning like this! Not every degree subject did recordings before rona but I have a feeling most will from now on :-)
