Lydia, this was an excellent and balanced presentation. Thank you. I work at a university in the degree apprenticeship team. We are not currently a pilot location offering the medical doctor degree apprenticeship, and I don't know if our medical school will be considering it. However, I will promote your video to school and sixth-form college students who want to know more about this route.

I have so much respect for you. You’ve come so far and it’s been a pleasure to witness. I lost my father very suddenly in final year and fell apart (he was 48). I never finished after 4 years and still regret it to this day. But then my lovely daughter came along, and is about to finish her first year! Your resilience and determination will lead you to your dreams. You’ve got this, Lydia… now SMASH those exams . ❤

It's like we can often lose ourselves in these kinds grandeur spaces like being at med school and idk overwhlemingly impressing cambridge uni vlogs or whatever but it's so lovely and so refreshing to see some normality?? Would you want the apprenticeship qualified doctors to not be able to work abroad? Would you want the qualification to identify that the applicant is coming through a qualification route?? Have you looked at the course content?? Cause it’s literally the same as standard medicine

I did mine in 2007. The initial interview was easier. However, working online was easier so you are lucky.
