I've made two now, and I can't begin to tell you how much I enjoyed this tutorial. The most helpful instruction was to "slip stitch into the first true stitch". This made so much more sense than many instructions that try to get you to count stitches, etc. Thank you!

Stopped to make many other things, picked up again in August, ha. I had decided just to give to my granddaughters because I found the pattern so confusing. I bought all the yarn in Jan. I just wanted to share with everybody and I don't know how so maybe you can help it be spread around. But my son comes up with a brilliant idea. Before you put your yarn on your yarn Winder slip a paper towel or toilet paper roller over it and then it stays on it very well and you can slip your Labels down inside there and if you really need to you can make a hole in the paper towel holder and add a p c yarn and taught to it so you won't have to worry about losing it but I just thought it was a great idea and I wanted to thanks for all you guys help

I really like this square! I made one yesterday with a white flower, yellow center, royal blue background. I made a twisted sc edge around it and I'll be making a circle to stitch to the back to make a thick mug rug. 😊

Now I’ve made a round one, fully backed with a solid circle and stitched together with twisted single crochet. Both of them are going to a friend who loved the colors when I sent a picture. ❤

@madmommy made the comments of the slst creating the petals and that was a game changer for me. My daughter would like 70’s retro blanket with this design and I was beginning to think I may not live long enough! It was taking me so long to make just one. Other methods creating the petals was drawn out and added to the time, this way is simple and quick. Mny thx for this tutorial. Most appreciated 🧶🇦🇺🌸

I was looking for a pattern that would look good with a black background. Took me 3 or 4 to get it where I didn't need to keep watching lol but Holy cow it looks so amazing with the black. Thinking about making a cardigan for my oldest granddaughter already made her one with white but in a different granny type stitch. But these are so beautiful thank you for sharing ❤
