    I've been working on this for 2.5 hours and I'm halfway through the video 😅 I learned how to crochet 2 weeks ago and it took me an hour to get the middle circle correct because I didn't know what 2 double crochets were but NOW I DO! and I'm doing pretty good, aside from it taking me forever because I keep having to redo things. If I can follow this, anyone can ha. Thank you for being beginner friendly!

      You're doing an amazing job! Learning a new skill, especially something like crochet, takes time and patience, and it's fantastic that you're making progress. It's completely normal to take a bit longer in the beginning, and the fact that you're persisting and getting the hang of it is truly commendable. Keep practicing, and soon you'll find yourself working through projects more quickly and confidently. If you ever need more guidance or have questions, don't hesitate to ask. Happy crocheting! 😊🧶🌟

      Keep at it and you'll be a pro before you know it. I found that watch TH-cam videos and learning all the stitches allowed me to read patterns. When I tried to crochet when I was younger, before the Internet, I tried to work from written patterns and ended up giving up because I just couldn't figure it out. My best friend and I went to spend the weekend at her grandma's one time and her grandma started to show me how to crochet which got me interested in the hobby. I've tried to pick it up again here and there over the years but didn't stick with it for very long. Since I started watching TH-cam tutorials about 5/6 years ago, I've been making all sorts of stuff and I absolutely love it. I've always been a fan of the whole creating gifts for people because it's ads such a personal and is much more meaningful. Often times it's more affordable too.

    Thank you so much for this superb tutorial. You didn´t promise too much because it was definitely beginner friendly. I am a crochet beginner but was able to follow through your instructions right away. Every square is getting better in shape and size. Will do an oversized cardigan. I guess 4 squares in a row will be enough (4 across and heights). 1 square does have around 15 cm. 😊

    I love this pattern but I find that my sides are kinda wavy? The square doesn’t have super straight sides. It curves a little near the middle where the petal ends are. Do you have any idea why?

    • @AdoreCreaCrochet
      @AdoreCreaCrochet  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Wavy sides on your square can be caused by a few factors. I recommend that after completing your square, blocking it can help even out the sides. Wet blocking or steam blocking can be effective in shaping and smoothing the stitches.

    Love the pattern but I'm having trouble making it into an even square. My starting side is too long compared to the others.

    • @AdoreCreaCrochet
      @AdoreCreaCrochet  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Achieving an even square can sometimes be a challenge, but there are a few tips that might help you get more consistent sides:
      Count Stitches: Ensure that you have the correct number of stitches in each row. Miscounting can lead to uneven sides. Counting at the end of each row can help catch any mistakes early on.
      Tension Control: Pay attention to your tension while crocheting. Consistent tension is crucial for even sides. If your starting side is longer, it might be an indicator of looser tension.
      Blocking: Once you finish your square, consider blocking it. Blocking is a process where you wet or steam your crochet piece and then shape it to the desired dimensions. This can help even out the sides and give a more polished look.
      Remember, practice makes perfect, and with a bit of patience, you'll likely find a rhythm that results in more even squares. Happy crocheting! 🧶😊

    I've never added knots in the middle of a pattern. Is there another option?

    • @AdoreCreaCrochet
      @AdoreCreaCrochet  22 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      Adding knots in the middle of a pattern can sometimes be necessary for joining new yarn or create decorative effects, but if you prefer to avoid knots, there are alternative methods you can try:
      Russian Join: This technique involves threading the new yarn through the plies of the old yarn, effectively joining them without knots. It creates a seamless transition between yarns.
      Magic Knot: The magic knot involves tying a special knot between two yarn ends to securely join them. It's relatively low-profile and can be used for various types of yarn.
      Experiment with these methods to find the one that works best for your project and yarn type. Happy crafting! 🧶✨

      Hi😊 It is really best explained and shown in the video. So recommend that you just watch it again a few more times. Remember, it's okay to encounter challenges while learning, and persistence will lead to improvement.🧶😊

    i keep getting 9 petals instead of 8 what am i doing wrong?

    • @AdoreCreaCrochet
      @AdoreCreaCrochet  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hi🙂 Unfortunately, I cannot know for sure what has gone wrong for you. But I would guess that you must have one stitch too many in the inner circle, and therefore also get one petal too many in the rest of the work. I would recommend that you watch the video thoroughly one more time or more. And remember that it is quite normal that it takes several attempts to learn something new. Best of luck with your project.

    Can i use this as a left-handed?

    • @AdoreCreaCrochet
      @AdoreCreaCrochet  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I should think so. The key is to mirror the instructions.
      It might take a bit of practice to get used to the mirror image, but many left-handed crocheters find success by doing this. Good luck with your project.Happy crocheting! 🧶😊
