I've been working on this for 2.5 hours and I'm halfway through the video 😅 I learned how to crochet 2 weeks ago and it took me an hour to get the middle circle correct because I didn't know what 2 double crochets were but NOW I DO! and I'm doing pretty good, aside from it taking me forever because I keep having to redo things. If I can follow this, anyone can ha. Thank you for being beginner friendly!

Keep at it and you'll be a pro before you know it. I found that watch TH-cam videos and learning all the stitches allowed me to read patterns. When I tried to crochet when I was younger, before the Internet, I tried to work from written patterns and ended up giving up because I just couldn't figure it out. My best friend and I went to spend the weekend at her grandma's one time and her grandma started to show me how to crochet which got me interested in the hobby. I've tried to pick it up again here and there over the years but didn't stick with it for very long. Since I started watching TH-cam tutorials about 5/6 years ago, I've been making all sorts of stuff and I absolutely love it. I've always been a fan of the whole creating gifts for people because it's ads such a personal and is much more meaningful. Often times it's more affordable too.

somehow I ended up with 9 petals and didn't realize it till the end😂 when the count of stitches in the corners weren't working, I just added 2 more sc in each side and everything was good. great tutorial!

I am a crochet beginner but was able to follow through your instructions right away. Every square is getting better in shape and size. Will do an oversized cardigan. I guess 4 squares in a row will be enough (4 across and heights). 1 square does have around 15 cm. 😊

I thought I would go crazy trying to do the magic circle but one day it just clicked. This pattern was a challenge for me, I haven't done a lot of crocheting. Your video was wonderful! I do have a question...how long does it take you to make this square, start to finish, without stopping? I'm working on my speed and just wondering what is realistic. Right now it takes me about 75 minutes, but I'm getting faster everyday. I've made 22 now. I'm trying to make a queen sized afghan so a lot more to go! Thank you!

In the beginning (where you first started the purple) it made no sense to me at all and I was pretty sure I wouldn't be making this, but I kept watching anyway. Then when I got to the part where you turned those chains into part of the square I was like.....BRILLIANT!! I am SO glad I kept watching. :D

I've been working on this for 2.5 hours and I'm halfway through the video 😅 I learned how to crochet 2 weeks ago and it took me an hour to get the middle circle correct because I didn't know what 2 double crochets were but NOW I DO! and I'm doing pretty good, aside from it taking me forever because I keep having to redo things. Keep at it and you'll be a pro before you know it. I found that watch TH-cam videos and learning all the stitches allowed me to read patterns. When I tried to crochet when I was younger, before the Internet, I tried to work from written patterns and ended up giving up because I just couldn't figure it out. My best friend and I went to spend the weekend at her grandma's one time and her grandma started to show me how to crochet which got me interested in the hobby. I've tried to pick it up again here and there over the years but didn't stick with it for very long. Since I started watching TH-cam tutorials about 5/6 years ago, I've been making all sorts of stuff and I absolutely love it. I've always been a fan of the whole creating gifts for people because it's ads such a personal and is much more meaningful. Often times it's more affordable too.

I just love how versatile crochet is. I started in september and i did a blanket, 2 beanies, one top and now i'm finally into squares, that I used to find the hardest, but with your videos they are not the hardest no more, I can do them easily!

somehow I ended up with 9 petals and didn't realize it till the end😂 when the count of stitches in the corners weren't working, I just added 2 more sc in each side and everything was good. great tutorial!

literally started crocheting 1 week ago and can follow this so easily. i did have to have my roommate “crochet translate” but im a lefty and it can be harder for me to pick up crafts bc of that so i cant blame the vid lol

I thought I would go crazy trying to do the magic circle but one day it just clicked. This pattern was a challenge for me, I haven't done a lot of crocheting. Your video was wonderful! I do have a question...how long does it take you to make this square, start to finish, without stopping? I'm working on my speed and just wondering what is realistic. Right now it takes me about 75 minutes, but I'm getting faster everyday. I've made 22 now. I'm trying to make a queen sized afghan so a lot more to go! Thank you!

In the beginning (where you first started the purple) it made no sense to me at all and I was pretty sure I wouldn't be making this, but I kept watching anyway. Then when I got to the part where you turned those chains into part of the square I was like.....BRILLIANT!! I am SO glad I kept watching. :D
