    Love the transparency! It’s so hard to find people being open about lifestyle, finances, etc. in ANY location, not just major cities. It’ll help people make informed decisions 🫶🏼

    The comment about homestead. Its just as expensive now. One bedroom units are averaging $1800 IN HOMESTEAD. Its no longer just farmlands. It has changed drastically and have become just as expensive as Kendall.

      @franciscobedregal1676 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Kendall’s been expensive I’m a local. I pay 2650 a month for a 2/2 not renovated. Expensive. Prices are going to keep rising.

      I’m from homestead. Lived there until I was 25. I moved to Atlanta and I bought a 4b/2b 2700 sqft house on 1 acres and my mortgage is $1800/month. People y’all gotta realize Miami is now only for the rich and luxury. If u not making over 6 figures in Miami, ur gonna struggle and who wants to keep moving every year?! And constantly look for roommates?! In my opinion that’s not a comfortable life to live. U gotta learn to not act above your wage. Miami is a vacation place now and I only come to visit my family in homestead.

    Bottomline about Miami, as I grew up there for my first 27 years? Miami has a very negative mindset about everything! I don't buy into that though.. I've lived in the West, in Las Vegas for 38 years now, the only thing I'm not about to do is buy a house with the Hurricane insurance how it is? 😮 But, I live in the reality, Paradise living.. equals the Cost of it! So, I'm accepting that and increasing my Income streams in order to enjoy life there and not just Survive? That's the Advise I give you guys, make more Money and enjoy life better! No stress or negativities! It's not worth it..🏝️🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊

      Facts. U can’t expect to make less than $100k a year and still live in the luxury and not struggle. That’s not how it works. U gotta PAY to PLAY. Miami is now for the rich. If u see ur just surviving then just get up and move and act your wage. Lol

    Maybe its just me but 2500-2800 per month isnt that much to live in a nice high rise with a balcony like in Brickell or near the city. It all really just depends on what you are looking for and whats important to you in where you live

    Great video, very informative. I’m currently in Texas (my home state), and while I do enjoy it here, I want to move to Miami soon on my own, and do what I love for a living. It’s expensive yes, but it doesn’t have to be. I believe I can make it work with patience and planning. I’ll be down there in June this year for vacation, I can’t wait! You guys seem like very cool people. Again, great video, subscribed.

    I love your show! Miami went is absolutely insane. I'm not sure it's worth it. Miami has become aondiety. The homeless population out of control, the smell of urine. I've looked in Edgewater near Maggie Park and it's my fave. I need a 1 bedroom in a convenient area like near downtown. I know its is totally possible to find a affordable place that's not in hotspots. Especially more north.

    • @beyondthebeach_
      @beyondthebeach_  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Thank you so much! Yes, that is true. You are going to feel a lot of that in downtown Miami like Brickell or even South Beach. When you move away from the city it's a much nicer, in our opinion.

Let me get back to you because I think that was from my fiancé (this is Martino.) But yes, Miami is the perfect place for social media because of the networking, environment, and there is so much to do here.

    Thats the thing about Miami/FL, no rent control and little to no renters rights like in CA. The landlords have no limit on how much they raise can your rent. Even if you have a contract, they will look for loopholes to raise it. It’s also hard looking for a nice spot because there are a lot of scammers there. 😂

    Taking it off Miami for a minute, how much you pay really comes down to where you live in a big city. For examples in Nerto Dallas, what you pay in the middle of downtown in a skyscraper is going to be different than what you pay 20 or 30 minutes in the suburbs. I’m the city for something nice, in a condo tower, you’re starting definitely at 2k and up for a studio. It will be closer to 2.5 for a 1/1. This is in a skyscraper downtown though. You can get low rise prices a bit cheaper. Out in the burbs, you’re looking at 1.5k to 1.8k for a nice luxury 1/1. Can you find cheaper in the burbs? Yes, but it starts getting a little less luxury and more average. From what I see in Miami, everyone wants a condo in the city with beach and city views. lol! In 2024, that starting at 3k for a studio! That ship has sales for most people. To me, if you want to live in Miami long term, your goal needs to be to buy and I mean as soon as possible. Save for that down payment, find some first time home buyer programs and start your search in the burbs somewhere! In the city? Forget it unless you’re a millionaire!
