Good clear and very precise instructions, thanks for this, I've yet to try the model 3 emu never had a pc fast enough for model 2 let alone model 3 I just finished building my new gaming pc so really looking forward to playing Virtua fighter 3, daytona 2 and the excellent scud race, vf3 is my all time favourite fighter, can't believe there has never been another home conversion since the dreamcast version, come on sega please release sega ages model 3 for us old but very loyal sega fans.

Hey man, is very simple to install it on Windows, just copy and paste, but I get supermodel3 working on raspberry pi4 8gb instead, in my bartop, so I Had recompiled the supermodel3 source code and I had integrated supermodel3 inside Emulationstation (for ARM processors), in fullscreen 1920x1080 with 16:9 aspect ratio...this is was very very difficult ...but I have done !
Hey so, when I'm mapping my inputs, it thinks i want to use the same controller for P1 and P2, and I can't figure out how to assign my other controller to P2 (which Supermodel acknowledges is there, as when I press "I", it is listed). any ideas?
On a racing game - it thinks it is part of a multi cabinet setup. Press F3 to enter the Board setup menu, F2 scrolls through the menu items and F3 selects, go to GAME ASSIGMENTS (sometime GAME SYSTEM), then LINK ID and press F2 until it reads SINGLE, then exit out and the game should run fine.
Thanks for the video, any idea why the up/down/left/right of the Xbox 360 RAP fighting stick wouldn’t work? The service test menu couldn’t recognize it, but the other buttons worked though, thanks.
have you encountered the issue of 2 lightguns with Lost world, in which gun 2 shoots and scores for player 1 despite distinctly different mouse numbers on the INI file for each gun??

nice one for the help here mate, im having a strange issue though. if i change any of the controls from what they are in the default 'ini' then every game crashes when trying to start it. iv a feeling its an issue with my fanatec pedals as when doing the config, it wouldnt recognise the input until you move onto the next one then go back, after that both brake and acl pedals can be mapped. iv tried clearing all other options/inputs but still no play...... and i cant get on the supermodel forum as its giving odd gateway errors...... so i thought id ask ;)

My Avast Anti-virus keeps flagging and deleting supermodel.exe without the possibility of making an exception, straight to restart your PC, got it from the official git page to. Avast seems to flag any thing remotely emulation related. In the pay of Nintendo perhaps
One of the Supermodel GUI has an option to tick "Throttle" which caps the framerate. There should be a corresponding setting in the config or command line
Hi - I’ll confess I have never tried that, I have used the mayflash dolphin bar for Dolphin and Mame . you should be able to map the wiinmote if it’s in keyboard mouse mode - I’ll give it a go and post a guide.
supermodel daytona2.zip -fullscreen -res=1280,960 -quad-rendering , for me this just opens a daytona window which is closed at once :( what am i doing wrong ?
Does it work with less instructions? Have you tried just supermodel daytona2.zip? Without knowing your system it's difficult to say - do any other games work?
Emucr is the best place for this emulator. This guide is not correct at all. The ui. For this is piss easy to use and you can have it up to 4k. Also you need to change the scaling on the exe. Forget the command prompt thing use the ui

It wasn't a source I was comfortable recommending, although I have used it myself. Which UI? I've come across a couple and have seen mixed reviews - Always happy to learn something new so would welcome a recommendation?

Why don´t show the configuration of gun games like the ocena hunter? The other games have a easy configuration, the really complicated thing is the other type of games... no this. Thanks for nothing...

Just a quick note, you can get rid of the glitchy graphics in Sega Rally by putting the emulators frequency up to 100 in the UI menu

You can also drag and drop roms onto the .exe. Open the config.ini to make it full screen. Works like a dream
sega rally 2 needs a higher clock speed to work properly, ie 100mhz. 60 is not enough

I found with Sega Rally 2 you just pin the Power PC Frequency to 120 and it runs. Doesn't like 49 or whatever the default is.

let's see if they are used thoroughly to fix and improve all the errors, the versions of the emulator sega model 3 are in development or in beta

Dunno if you are gonna read this, but how do you fix the game speed of Daytona USA 2? It runs 3x as fast for me, so unplayable.

The Sega Model 3 UI still brings you the cmdline for configuring inputs, unless you know another UI?
