Hello, I have only 1 problem with the emulator. And with F12, when you press it, it asks you to press F12 again to confirm and save your game and F10 is the same, you press it and it asks you to press F10 again to load your saved game. So my problem is that when I hit F12 to save and press F10 to load the emulator it closes Can this be solved?

Something weird happened. When I first installed this emulator I was able to play House of the Dead without setting up the roms path and calibrating the gun but now it doesnt work. Where was the Model 2 reading House of the Dead from?
Is there a way to use the analogue shoulder buttons for acceleration rather than the right analogue thumbstick? I find it too difficult using the the right thumbstick 🙂
Absolutely - once you have loaded up the desired game go in to Game: Configure controls and you'll see the three tick boxes for the analogue controls - click on these and you can set the trigger buttons for accelerate and brake. You will unfortunately need to do this for each game individually - a bit of a pain! Hope that helps.
I tried this out a few years ago. I downloaded a ROM pack specificly for the Model 2 emulator. Naturally, half the games didn't work due to missing or incorrect ROM files. Granted, the game list has a lot of regional duplicates, but it still bugged me that there were non-working games in the list. I ended up downloading copies of those individual games from other sites, and finally getting all the games to work. As I recall, the controls in Virtual On: Cybertroopers don't seem to work quite right. I think there was an add-on program from another website that was supposed to fix that, but I could never make it work. One small tip: Set all the games to European or International rather than US, and the games will still be in English, but won't display those annoying "Winners don't use drugs!" messages.
Does anyone know if its possible to enable the 50% scanline option in the emulator.ini file or by using a command line argument? I have games setup but need to enalbe this manually for each game as cannot find a way to save the option or have it enabled by default.
Hi, on this emulator on my pc when im setting the controls does not apear the axis z to acelerate and break, i have to choose the axis y for that two funccions but this is not ergonomic. Please tell mr how i can make the emulator put the axis z to map the acelerator and breack on the shoulder buttons
Press F2 to enter the Board setup menu, F1 scrolls through the menu items and F2 selects, go to GAME SYSTEM, then LINK ID and press F2 until it reads SINGLE, then exit out and the game should run fine.
Hello friend, the function of the steering wheel (I have a Logitech driving force gt) the force feedback is automatic? or does it have to be configured in some way?
Managed to pair my PS4 controller with my PC, and it was running ok with Model 2 emu. Had steering mapped to the X-axis of the stick, so was working ok. But when the controller went to sleep, the emulator now won't see it anymore after it's reactivated. Nothing in the drop down menus in the controls config menu. Also, how do you map the brake to the left trigger? Accelerator mapped to the right one ok, but I couldn't map the breaks to anything.

Ok i have questions on the error loading. The only thing I have not done is the direct x package because, A i thought I needed that and the C++ already for something else. And B when I went to run it I got a malware warning that I havent seen before. I also dont want to overwrite my current direct X. Do you have a discord where you can give advice in real time?

Alternatively could be a bad dump of the Rom. Have you installed all of the legacy Direct X and Visual C ++ files?

@@Joshi_the_Yoshi Have you downloaded and installed the Direct x 2010 pack and the Visual C++ packs? That error can occur when the application is looking for the older Direct x files if you don't have them installed.
If your using Supermodel at the CMD prompt by entering -no-throttle you should remove the 60Hz fps restriction, although i haven't personally tried it. I'm releasing a vid on Supermodel this week :). Which version of Supermodel are you using? Some of the older versions have issues rendering games at 60FPS.

Whenever I launch the emulator and load a game on my new laptop, the emulator just crashes right away. I watched this tutorial 3 times, did everything you say, heck even having the .dll plugin, but the emulator just won't start up properly and I'm just lost.

Got up today and tried the install of the direct x and still same result, not sure what my pebcak error is now

It's a Model 3 game. You need to use supermodel. It's an emulator for Sega Model 3.
