What would be unhealthy is telling his kids they arent allowed to EVER have a cookie in their lives, but its obvious he doesnt do that. He teaches them from a young age to properly think about protein, and the importance of it. In a world where more then 60% is now atleast overweight, this is FAR from "bad", maybe go say that to 60%+ of the world who are getting unhealthier day by day and not as adults doing their best to learn how to eat healthily. Something this kid is lucky enough to know about.

My parents never even had to teach me Tamil, but I learned Tamil through watching movies. It’s not proper Tamil but it can be used to converse at a decent level. My Telugu is a bit better. In the US, there is Tamil and Telugu school and Sangams. I regret that my parents never sent me. I would’ve loved to read and write in Tamil and Telugu.

I'm a 17 y/o fitness enthusiast, and i consume oreos from time to time. Sir, u haven't mentioned WHY it is bad. High fructose corn syrup is considered the cause of overweighting, diabetes, and other small heart and liver diseases but according to harvard school of public health nutrition, HFCS isn't necessarily worse for us than table sugar but there is just too much of it in our food supply... so, according to me, if it's consumed in moderation and if we keep a good practice of exercise, then it's completely fine to consume oreos!

No one eats Oreos for protein and nutrients. And HFCS is not poison, you can consume it in moderate amount. Every sugar is bad for us anyway.
If it's fresh and nutritious food you're looking for, you won't find it in supermarkets. But you are looking for content, so you're in the right place ig

But fructose and glucose both has same glycemic index if eaten in pure form, so if a kid is eating any sugary item, all will have same affect on his health. Moreover, kids bodies won't get affected by sugar if they eat these foods moderately.
also, There's this channel called "how to cook that" ran by Ann Reardon, she is a food scientist and she did a whole experiment on which kind of sugar of is healthier (sugars like fructose, sucrose and such)
She inserted a live blood sugar detecting device on her arm and then ate all varieties of sugary items one by one on the spot and the results were same.
She concluded that, to not make your blood sugar spike up, you should always consume fats with sugar, either fructose or sucrose.
If you consume pure sugar, like Pepsi/coca cola or alcohol, it will spike your blood sugar really high which is bad for health.

With all due respect sir, I would request you to reconsider teaching your kid to label some food as good or bad. Being a dietician myself I highly appreciate you teaching kids to have higher protein and stay away these packed sugary biscuits but not all the food a person is eating need to have high protein. We need different kinds of nutrients and sometimes are body naturally asks for sugary treats which I indeed teach my client to satisfy with natural sweeteners.
Besides, in my opinion we should teach our children to be respectful and grateful for food be it packed or unpacked. Instead of labelling something as bad, which may lead to bad relationship with food in teenage or adult days, we can simply teach that packed foods like this may also give energy (which they actually do) but not in the way a person would like to have for sustainable healthy life.
Sorry if my comment has hurt anybody's sentiments but as a dietician I felt it was my duty to highlight the fact that all food give energy, may or may not in the best possible way, but they definitely give some kind of energy.
    Namaste 🙏

You want your children TO HATE someone or something, go ahead teach them hate.
I believe in teaching love and respect to every particle of the universe and that I will continue.
