I love the truth Dr Ryan revealed. This is correct and it applies to most of the people around me.. the line he said- “The food today is eaten too much as therapeutic balm” - exactly correct. We don’t feel hungry we just eat to sooth our depressions, mood swings or to show off that we can eat so much n stay thin (which is metabolism of one’s body) but it doesn’t need to be same with all. Or having food a medium to initiate a conversation between 2 ppl. Even when they are not hungry. Do not necessarily need to be..
This is actually the kind of Podcast that should be allowed on the internet. Thank you so much, I really got a lot of motivation and information from you two ❤

Hello Dr. Pal, as a recently diagnosed Diabetic, this has been the most informative thing I’ve found more than what my doctor has imparted through my diagnosis. This is a very big eye opener in understanding how food works on one’s body. I have a “GUT” feeling that I will have a better method to follow diet after seeing this video.
In India portion size offered at restaurants is mostly for 2-3 people. I started sharing the portion and it helped me a lot. Thank you sir the wonderful tips
and one dish is almost 1000 to 1500 calories even 2000 calories. Even if 2 people share a soup eat a starter and then have a main course gravy and with roti and share a biryani or rice they will eating more than their daily calorie intake. I am not even including dessert. Its not only portion control it about calories which are in the form of oil floating and cream and grated cheese.
Yes its for 2 people or a Family, but One person many times will eat the entire Mega Portion in one sitting. As a good example if you were to buy a Chicken Biriyani the single portion size is massive, 3 or 4 pieces of chicken and a ton of rice, imagine one person eating the whole thing in 30 minutes or less with Raitha, I would eat half and the other half for dinner a twofer.
True. Being from a typical middle class family, I rarely gone to restaurants growing up. Cause it was outside food for us. But when i started my 9-5 job I also started to go to restaurant either alone or with my colleagues. And in the beginning I could never finish whatever meal I was ordering. Always had to ask to pack the remaining food so I could take it home. Initially I thought maybe I just have less appetite or lack of physical activity or something. But no I just figured out it's the big portion of meals that restaurant serves. I've stopped eating outside cause now I just wake up 45 minutes early to prepare tiffin. But whenever I go with my colleagues, I usually order medu Vada cause that's literally the only thing I can finish lol
I was 58 kgs when i got married at 24yrs. I became 72 kg after i gave birth to my first baby. My weight gradually came down to 61 in two yrs time as i walked regularly and breastfed my baby till two yrs. When i got pregnant with my second child my weight went upto 83kg. I had triple chin😂and used to get scared seeing myself in mirror. What i did is a bit funny. Three months after my delivery, i went to a textile showroom, bought an expensive dress for myself which was twice smaller than my then physique. I was determined, by the time my baby turned two yrs, i came back to 60kg and my dress was a perfect fit. Now i am at 45 yrs and still maintaining 59-60kg, with my height at 164cms.

According to the video, it is about how to look younger and healthier. Dr. Pal is interviewing celebrity nutritionist Ryan Fernando about his thoughts on how to achieve this.
Here are some of the key points from the video:
* People are eating too much processed food and using food as a way to deal with stress.
* Sugar cravings can be caused by a lack of gut health.
* Fruits contain sugar but it is natural sugar and not processed sugar which is the culprit in causing health problems.
* Processed foods are full of unrecognizable ingredients.
* One of the keys to aging slower is to listen to your gut. Your gut feeling will tell you if a food is right for you or not.
* Organic food is better than non-organic food because it has fewer pesticides.
* Probiotic foods are good for your gut health. Some examples of probiotic foods are kimchi, dosa batter, and yogurt.
* Fermenting foods is a great way to increase the probiotic content of your diet.

Organic food is very expensive and most people cannot afford. Thank you for the tips and info🙏
You should just avoid packaged food, and if you can't afford good food then you will later have to pay hospital bills
If possible, do grow leafy vegetables at home .😊
I guess Dr Pal wanted to become a comedian but his parents force him to become a Doctor 😂
❤
I didn't see that he is suitable in comedy line.
I think his young generation era shouldn't be like dead serious and inexpressive like old school another Dr.
His generation should be laughing n expressive n fun
Chances he may not even have realized this hidden skill or thought about it as a serious pursuit. Or even if so his parents would not have let him take up such a dream seriously?! First become an engineer or doctor, then become whatever you want to become - That's our Indian parents ❤ I thank if that was true!
Coz. then you have a strong subject knowledge and a satisfaction of educating the society in a way that you and everyone likes.
😂😂😂😂😂 very funny
😂
Two Legends talking . Ever since I saw their individual Podcast, I was thinking both of them coming together and giving us Gut Gyan. Lov this

These men changed my food habit...Without any so called branded diets I have reduced 17 kgs in 8 months...Healthy food taking will improve your metabolism and and weight management...
How? What you did?
Your one post made me smile today. you see when we practice in private and people pay us, we then come and do these free podcasts and people are REALLY REALLY rude ( parents have not taught them manners in the way they comment) . But your comment Mr SAJITH made my week, because Your health is better, you family will have you around for a longer time. This love and life you now get is a blessing!! Thank you for saying this. 😊
@@RyanFernandonutritioncoach ❤️❤️❤️🙏Thanks for replying
@@sajithreghu1 bro mine is the opposite. I was thin. But with proper diet, cutting off outside food, packaged items, canned foods, aerated drinks etc etc...basically what the doc says here...and a bit of excercise i have actually gained good weight. Just with a healthier diet, a bit more protein/carb intake and regular exercises. I feel a lot healthier now.
@@Rudi_Mentary723 👍👍

I have a small request, my son is 17 months old and he had brain hemorrhages and he is suffering from infantile spasms..
We have started the Keto diet.
Everyone says if your gut is good everything will be good.
Can you please make a video on what all things we should take care of while dealing with kids suffering from seizures/epilepsy/Autism/CP and is there anything which can help them recover fast.
Why not consult them in person?

Dr Pal you are really very funny and humble and smart 💖
Recently i have realised the importance of eating the right food and right quantity... Lot of things have changed in my body and mind.. feel lighter, proactive, better focus and control...earlier i used to eat everything and whenever i wanted and i used to suffer a lot both physically and mentally...
But I don't understand, the dr suggested to eat less( the size of the heart), if we eat 3 meals of that quantity then wouldn't a person feel hunger? Pls explain🥲
