Honestly, I think every second day vlogging is better. It gets overwhelming when everyone is doing Vlogmas and impossible to keep up with, on top of all the extra stuff that comes along this time of year naturally

YES, it is so refreshing when romance characters specifically talk about not wanting children!! I’m happy for other people who want kids, but I have only ever wanted to be a parent to dogs and not humans.
I don’t enjoy romcom movies typically so imagine my surprise when I discovered that I LOVE romcom books 🤷♀️ Fake dating is probably my favorite trope but enemies to lovers is great as well.
Enemies to lovers is the BEST trope! ❤🎉 I wish being childfree had more widely represented 😮💨 You can 💯 have a fulfilling life without children.

I've done s'mores with Reese's! It's SO good! Also I prefer marshmallow fluff instead of marshmallows.
Oh gosh haha these books will be very very tame for you 🤣 my SIL sends me intensely spicy books to read but I keep them on my Kindle like my dirty secret LOL. But I will say, I feel like those always end in pregnancy too 🙄🙈 glad I found a few that don't hahaha.

Ive done smores with reeses. Ive also used peeps, which is a perfecr use for them as the sugar on the outside caramelizes jnto a lovely little shell

I LOVE the "Carrie" pants too. So awesome. Stephen King is my favorite! I love the Carrie movie more than the book, which is a huge departure for me because I pretty much always prefer a book to a movie. It's since I saw that movie before I ever read the book though.

The Silent Patient and Fairy Tale were both such amazing books! The Silent Patient is one I wish I could read again for the first time. Such an unexpected twist. I'd like the record to state I have made s'mores with Reese's Cups and that they are amazing!

I love getting a bag of assorted ghiradelli squares and seeing which flavors work the best on a smore. My fav is usually a caramel one, but my partner likes the chocolate raspberry.
Ooh chocolate raspberry is my favorite Ghirardelli flavor! I gotta try that in smores version haha!

Peanut butter cups, Andes candies & Rolos are all AMAZING in s’mores. Another variation - use Keebler fudge stripe cookies instead of graham cracker & chocolate 🤌❤
Please make sure you have a kitchen-specific fire extinguisher! Regular ones are not meant for grease fires.
Thank you for your Vegas recommendations! We were there over the weekend to see U2 at The Sphere (amazing!) and we went to Eataly the next day. Everything was so good!
OMG, that bones dress is stunning! that would look epic if you had a red slip dress underneath, so fun! Those leather look leggings will require baby powder to help you slide them on, they look great :) a black corset top with those and *chefs kiss* love the velvet dress too and the what I'm going to call moth eaten half sleeve.
Listened to Fairytale last year around this time. Loved it. So, Bee's Knees Lacquer owner Sarah is always doing collections inspired by books. That's how I discovered Sarah J. Maas. Even if I didn't like the polish, I'd follow what BKL's doing just for the book recommendations. I'm now reading/listening to Rebecca Ross's duologies. You looked great in all the clothes, btw!

I read a book you talked about a while back (the midnight library) and absolutely loved it. It was a book that definitely made me feel emotional and gave me a different outlook on life. Despite it being fiction, I found it filled with lots of great advice for living life to the fullest. I never would have happened upon that book if it wasn’t for your recommendation!
The two dresses you bought are very cute. I love that purse also. The Silent Patient sounds very interesting, I think I might have to look for it. But I already have soooo many unread books.
I have to agree that I don’t usually taste vanilla in coffee.
Love the outfits, and I totally agree that it's really tough to find a black purse with silver hardware, such a struggle! I enjoyed the video, don't stress about doing daily things, just do what you can and catch us up on the advent calendars lol hugs!

I just finished Lightlark and my god it was amazing!!!!!! I heard not great things about it, but SO happy I didn’t let that sway me!
If you're going to try different candies in smores, you should try different "crackers" too. My family did a whole buffet of options like fudge stripe cookies, chocolate chip cookies, pretzel chips, etc
I wish vlogmas was a daily thing for us to see but life can get busy.
One of my goals for 2024 is to have more regular vlogs because I really do love doing them, I think this vlogmas has just been especially weird so far because I'm trying to prefilm a lot to get ready for taking some time off 😅 I'll explain it better soon haha

I loved the Carrie pants! They looked great 😊 No worries on vlogs, do them as u feel. I started the season very upbeat & these last few days I have just plummeted where I just feel dark. I’m just so busy trying to do too much & it caught up so take self care when u need it.

I love doing s’more with different candy, we have done them with peanut butter cups and they are almost, we have also done York peppermint pattys too. It would be fun to try other flavors. Great haul.
I know a lot of people who do Reese's and other candy for s'mores - I say go for it and do some experimenting! Either way, you get a s'more out of it! 💜
Wow!! Cool outfits!! You rock them. Yes I try to get out of my comfort zone. Sometimes not easy. Yes. My chest is big and I try to hide it too and I have long arms too. I usually have to get an xl to get the arm length. Sometimes I get lucky and the sleeves to fit well. Cool! Purse! I love silver jewelry too! The only think I would suggest to try to wear your purse crossbody! That was a cool haul! Very nice of that KillStar company to send u some clothes! Be blessed 🙌 I saw there was a new Resse Cup with Caramel. Bet that would be interesting on Smores.😊😊😊

Ever since I was little my mom would get fun candy to use for s’mores! One of my favorites is Caramello bars. Thanks for sharing both the good and the bad. Watching vlogmas has inspired me to both put up my tree and find a new therapist!

Hello Kelli!! We have done s'mores with other candy bars like Snickers and Reese's and they have all been amazing. Also I enjoy the book suggestions because I write down the books you get or have said you liked and have enjoyed them myself because of your recommendation. I like getting new authors that way. I'm a huge fan of Stephen King so he wasn't new but the others were. I guess it all started with the Daughter of Smoke and Bone series. That one was awesome! Anyhoo, just want to say thanks for being someone that an old lady like me can connect with. LOL Take care!

I make Reese's smores ALL THE TIME!!! It's a source of pride that I get to introduce family and friends to it hahahaha nothing quite beats the original but it's SOOOOO good and so worth it!

Last year I went overboard with advents (including Halloween, Easter, Valentine's 💀) so I needed a break.. but I really miss having one for the holidays.

I love the haul! The square neck looks great on you. The 1st dress is amazing 😍 Very feminine, the print is great, the sleeves are unique with the looser top then tighter from above the elbow down to the bell sleeves & the uneven bottom. Love that sleeve on the last shirt, the purse & that bear 🐻 🥰 I too am a big Stephen King fan, but mainly of his books, as I feel they don't translate as well in movie format. Except for The Stand miniseries (6 hours long, with Molly Ringwald, Gary Sinise, etc); one of my favorites. I'm currently reading The Dome. I hadn't known about Fairy Tale; I'll have to get it soon. That truffle coffee sounds delicious 😋 My favorite creamer is International Delight's White Chocolate Raspberry; so good! Cinnabon is a close 2nd. I did notice the gems & wondered what that was - so cool! Anyway, vlog when you can; no pressure. I don't think any of us expect more than that (or at least I hope not).

I really liked that bananas foster flambe one as well. Mine was caffeinated and came in a variety box from that brand. The other flavor I particularly love from that brand is Oatmeal Raisin Cookie. It smells so delicious.

My absolute favorite s'more I've ever had was the Reese's Peanut butter creme (instead of chocolate) peanut brittle. They were king sized & we used them as the sandwich around the marshmallow.

I call those 'experimental s'mores' and try making weird ones whenever we go camping. My fave is a s'more made with a Reese's peanut butter cup!! YUM!!

Interesting book recommendations, been a fan for a while. As a Star Wars fan may I recommend the unabridged Courtship of Princess Leia from the original expanded universe timeline/essential legends collection. 🥰 a Star Wars twist on Romance, lol.
Also, Commenting today because we actually just got fire blankets (as in blankets that put out fires) for our family. They are easier than extinguishers and can be used as a fire shield if the worst happens to escape your house. I loved your haul. Those clothes are so cool. I loved that first dress on you. So cool. I also loved the Carrie leggings too. My husband and I loved the movie Carrie. We love Sissy Spacek. She is such a good actress. She is awesome in Coal Miners Daughter. She sounded just like Loretta Lynn. I need to try those kinds of coffee. I was thinking about getting some decaf coffee K-Cups. I get K-Cups for myself and love flavored coffee and I can only have a few with caffeine, so after that I can have some decaf.
I too suffer from depression and anxiety and have since I was young. I am 48 years old right now. I also have been suffering from extreme claustrophobia the past few years. It has been so bad. I have always had it, but the past few years, it has gotten so bad. I use to be able to control it, but not anymore. Sometimes when I just think about things it sets me into an anxiety attack. I went with my daughter to Six Flags last year and I went to go on a ride and as soon as they went to put the shoulder thing down on me, I started freaking out and had to yell at the guy to get me out before they fully locked it down. Thank Goodness he heard me because if he didn’t, I would have had a heart attack on the ride. I even took a medication before I even went to try and help me with my anxiety, but it didn’t even help me. My depression has been up and down and has gotten worse since losing my Dad 2 years ago. I lost my Mom in 2011 from Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia and then my Dad in 2021 from what we think was the Covid vaccine and 6 months later I lost my Uncle from Covid. It’s so hard losing both of your parents, especially around the holidays. Now I just have my Sister and of course my husband and kids and My husbands side. I thank God for my Mother-in-Law who I consider my Mom. She is the best MIL I could have asked for. Anyways, It’s not easy dealing with anxiety and depression and health issues. I also have severe fibromyalgia and Arthritis. Just know that we are all here for you and we all love you. I will keep you in my prayers always. My personal favorite way to make smore's is do the typical marshmallow and chocolate, but then add a potato chip or two. It's the perfect salty/sweet flavor.
Ooh I wonder if I can find some chocolate covered potato chips to try it with lol
