Congrats! I think it is so exciting you eloped.I think elopements are so romantic and removing your relationship from the commercialization of weddings feels so genuine and intimate. It is what I hope to do as well one day. I have been a bridesmaid at least a half of dozen times and while they are fun and exciting the thought of doing the whole wedding thing for myself is overwhelming and I would hate to be the center of attention like that for so long.

I'm 8 minutes in and I just want to jump in and reassure you. Video games are good for you, they have been shown (in moderation) to help prevent cognitive decline. That being said, if you aren't feeling it, you aren't feeling it. It is your free time after all. Also, your relationship belongs to you and your partner. This is absolutely CRUCIAL to long-term success. There is no part of your relationship that you are required to share with anyone. All the blessings on your union. You are doing a great job! The first time I got married, my Mum did cry because she wouldn't be there (maybe a sign that the whole endeavour was a terrible, no good, bad idea) and the second time (just over a year ago, yay for 2022 weddings!) we had a party and guests, but the crucial thing was that it was what we both wanted. I REALLY want to thank you sooo much for this video!!! I don't really think I can explain or even fully understand why this is, but I've been trying to get myself to start a youtube channel (crochet tutorials (which btw you might find as a sweet spot hobby as it is such great stress relief & anxiety relieving, totally fun, and still productive and because of gift giving, really a money saver - just throwing that out there) anyway, something(s) in this video gave me the feeling that its all going to be okay and more ready to begin it. You know, take the dive. Maybe a lot because I have felt like I shouldn't feel so nervous, and also afraid to get my feelings hurt/too thin skinned to do this and I wouldn't have thought either of those things were stuff thats hard for you. I just came upon you in the last couple of days and really enjoy you. Nail polish lover as well! Also I think I got a feel maybe of how you maybe edit and thats been a real sticking point for me. I agree with you on the ring and wearing it forever so being part of it/choosing it is super important! My husband gave me a family ring when we got engaged. I was so nervous to to wear it because it was so old. A diamond even fell out. It was hand cut. You can tell a difference in the new and old stones. 😢 I then found a set I love after we got married and we bought them.

I had trouble with the my moving company too. They were okay when I left IL, but a tow truck delivered the pods and had to tip them over to get them off. He scratched the driveway of my rental and ended up breaking a table. I don't remember how it worked out but I don't think it was as complicated. Keep on being you.

Congratulations!!! I love that you eloped! My partner and I did a move across the state around the same time y’all were moving to Vegas, and we eloped shortly after moving. It was definitely the way to go for us! The attention, expense, planning, the fact that we’ve both lost a parent and would be acutely aware of those absences, and just everything having to do with a wedding felt really overwhelming. I’m glad we decided to go another route. I feel like the decisions I make for myself are the ones I tend to be happiest with, even though I feel selfish making them.

I got married in Vegas. 10/10 would recommend it to anyone. We bought a wedding package and there was a limo and champagne and we both felt very pampered. It was so fun! You don't owe anyone a rationalization about your life. It always baffles me when people insert themselves into other people's lives like that. There are TONS of nail polish channels, but yours is my favorite because your personality is fun and your videos are interesting. Also looking forward to the Return of the Podcast. =)

Congratulations to both of you 🎉❤ Regarding the broken heart question, you’re absolutely right, a few months ago I was so heart broken, I would just randomly start crying and even my parents were almost begging me to move on, and I did it, but my way, I shed the tears that I needed to, I talked to the people I felt would understand and support me and occupied my mind in other things, and little by little I stopped thinking about it, maybe I still shed some tears or get a lump in my throat because I was really blindsided but I no longer let it get to me as it used to, so in a sense, it’s ok to grieve and feel your pain but acknowledge that it’s not the end of the world whatever situation happened and better thing come around eventually…

Congrats! I think it is so exciting you eloped.I think elopements are so romantic and removing your relationship from the commercialization of weddings feels so genuine and intimate. It is what I hope to do as well one day. I have been a bridesmaid at least a half of dozen times and while they are fun and exciting the thought of doing the whole wedding thing for myself is overwhelming and I would hate to be the center of attention like that for so long.

I'm 8 minutes in and I just want to jump in and reassure you. Video games are good for you, they have been shown (in moderation) to help prevent cognitive decline. That being said, if you aren't feeling it, you aren't feeling it. It is your free time after all. Also, your relationship belongs to you and your partner. This is absolutely CRUCIAL to long-term success. There is no part of your relationship that you are required to share with anyone. All the blessings on your union. You are doing a great job! I REALLY want to thank you sooo much for this video!!! I don't really think I can explain or even fully understand why this is, but I've been trying to get myself to start a youtube channel (crochet tutorials (which btw you might find as a sweet spot hobby as it is such great stress relief & anxiety relieving, totally fun, and still productive and because of gift giving, really a money saver - just throwing that out there) anyway, something(s) in this video gave me the feeling that its all going to be okay and more ready to begin it. You know, take the dive. Maybe a lot because I have felt like I shouldn't feel so nervous, and also afraid to get my feelings hurt/too thin skinned to do this and I wouldn't have thought either of those things were stuff thats hard for you. I just came upon you in the last couple of days and really enjoy you. Nail polish lover as well! Also I think I got a feel maybe of how you maybe edit and thats been a real sticking point for me. I agree with you on the ring and wearing it forever so being part of it/choosing it is super important! My husband gave me a family ring when we got engaged. I was so nervous to to wear it because it was so old. A diamond even fell out. It was hand cut. You can tell a difference in the new and old stones. 😢 I then found a set I love after we got married and we bought them.

I had trouble with the my moving company too. They were okay when I left IL, but a tow truck delivered the pods and had to tip them over to get them off. He scratched the driveway of my rental and ended up breaking a table. I don't remember how it worked out but I don't think it was as complicated. Keep on being you.

I have missed so many things since February when I was walking my beagle for a fundraiser and we were attacked by 2 Akitas 120+lbs each. My dog didn’t survive and I’m still being treated for my injuries and PTSD.

My partner and I did a move across the state around the same time y’all were moving to Vegas, and we eloped shortly after moving. It was definitely the way to go for us! The attention, expense, planning, the fact that we’ve both lost a parent and would be acutely aware of those absences, and just everything having to do with a wedding felt really overwhelming. I’m glad we decided to go another route. I feel like the decisions I make for myself are the ones I tend to be happiest with, even though I feel selfish making them.

I got married in Vegas. 10/10 would recommend it to anyone. We bought a wedding package and there was a limo and champagne and we both felt very pampered. It was so fun! You don't owe anyone a rationalization about your life. It always baffles me when people insert themselves into other people's lives like that.
There are TONS of nail polish channels, but yours is my favorite because your personality is fun and your videos are interesting. Also looking forward to the Return of the Podcast. =)

Like, you play music, paint your nails, chitchat a lil’, but not obligated to answer questions that come up in the chat. Regarding the broken heart question, you’re absolutely right, a few months ago I was so heart broken, I would just randomly start crying and even my parents were almost begging me to move on, and I did it, but my way, I shed the tears that I needed to, I talked to the people I felt would understand and support me and occupied my mind in other things, and little by little I stopped thinking about it, maybe I still shed some tears or get a lump in my throat because I was really blindsided but I no longer let it get to me as it used to, so in a sense, it’s ok to grieve and feel your pain but acknowledge that it’s not the end of the world whatever situation happened and better thing come around eventually…
