    The Galaxie is a 64 if I'm not mistaken. They changed it radically for later years, but the best was 66 as I owned one as my first car back in 76. The Galaxie went from round tail lights to square, and oblong, the 66 being the only year they were actually square. I must say, the 69 looks real good too. I hope you throw more cars into the mix as you see interesting finds like this, old classics, supercars, etc. Love to see what Tialanders are driving. 😀👍✌

    I brought a Honda lead in Vietnam 5 years ago . It was stolen about a month later from inside my house . I was pretty Peed off about it , there was no chance of getting it back . Then 3 1/2 years later we get a phone call from the police , come to the police station we think we have your bike . So I was expecting it to be bashed and smashed . When we got there it was very dirty with dust but in perfect condition with only 1000 km extra on the clock , so there was less than 2000 km totally. It’s a good bike we still have it my wife rides it most days when we’re not in lockdown of course .

    Interesting that more bike shops have opened up during these difficult times. Probably trying to position themselves for when things are better. Also, that Ford Galaxie is a ‘64. As I thought I recognized similar rounder body lines of my Dad’s old ‘62/‘63 Ford Comet. 😊 Seems 1965 on up they started getting sharper lines in their cars. 😎

      My guess was 64-65 also on that Galaxy. I was born in 65, and brother 64 and had sort-of an infatuation with our birth years-in cars. However; the 57 Chevy was a fav and our neighbors had a 57 station wagon, chopped back to a 2 door as a hot rod, Living near the once infamous Ontario International Speedway made the area riff with motor heads.

      I'm gonna throw in here I think it's a '63. The '63 & '64 were similar styling, in '65 they went to stacked headlights and more angular styling. I was in high school at the time but wasn't really a Ford guy although they all look good to me now.

      @acewongsawad6910 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@guzzijack9714 That's true about the '65. But, on this one the difference is in the front grille that's why it looks more like a '64 (or a '63 1/2)😉 . Look at it and compare to a '63 side by side. I'm not a Ford guy either, but just a car guy. 😎

    Valuable information that is well presented, thanks. Honda rocks. The Elite 125 sells for the equivalent of THB 59000 here in South Africa. Got a 2020 demonstrator Kymco 125 Agility Scooter (THB 30000) that runs well and gets about 94 mpg. It's a GY6 and really cheap to maintain. The French brand Peugeot also makes scooters but probably not a lot, some French flair there hehe. I still have an economical 2003 Peugeot diesel van which has covered 200 000 km and has never failed. If I was there, CBR 500R for me. Love the KLR 650, but need more height to mount that HORSE but it's oh so versatile.

      Very rare to see a fully done up big trike, but they do make trikes out of scooters which are fairly common.

    Just bought my new bike kawa z650 with a great deal so agree that now is the time to buy if you are looking for a new bike.
    Like that cb650 too. Retro paintjob.
    royal enfield & benelli arent famous for their quality. Would stick to honda, kawa etc.. :)
    Havent seen a benelli for about 10 years. Thought they went broke hehe
    Nice to see bikes again in your videos

    I don't think that's right about the click finishing production? Nothing online and website showing 2022 models. The lead was the replacement for the moove which was a poor seller here. The lead as continued this as I've never seen one on the road yet...

    I would think it would be difficult to sell the Big Bikes now.
    The That government are talking about an addittional motorbike test for anything over 300cc.
    Farang are the big buyers of Big bikes and a lot of those will not be coming back for a while and some farang will be trying to off load them.
    I would say wait another 6 months for bargains for second hand deals/ old stock. Honda might even give a discount that is unheard of.

      Yeah, I'm thinking after Christmas, wait until 2022.

  • @lovegar
    @lovegar 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    Do your research on the Ninja 1000. That's the old model hence the discount. Allround a good bike but has a rep for slow turning, something rectified on the new model. All said a big step from a Verys 650

    • @Rides4Kickz
      @Rides4Kickz  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes, doesn't have the digital dash or quick shifter either, I believe, like the 2021 model. But it was the last year with the 4 exhausts which I always thought went well with the bike. But it was the first year for the IMU, which has probably been the biggest piece of tech for the bike.

    Found this on Cycle Trader:
    Used 2017 Kawasaki Sportbike Motorcycle
    Ninja 1000 ABS
    2,203 Miles
    $9,899
    Florida
    So you probably shouldn’t pay more than that since the factory warranty may be in question at your dealership.

    I had a 1968 Galaxie 2-door back in the late '70s. It was quite the car. :-) Currently, between bikes and scooters, I have five. I've decided that I want to go with one in, two out for a while, and get my collection down to two or three instead of five. :-) All Hondas, so one thing that would get me to buy another bike is for Honda to market a (P)EV scooter. For an around the village scooter, I think that would be perfect. I just need Honda to make it.

    • @Rides4Kickz
      @Rides4Kickz  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Just a guess Gar, but I think if they made one, it would be priced higher than the gasoline models and make it almost cost prohibitive.
