- เผยแพร่เมื่อ 11 ม.ค. 2025
- We visit a used big bike megastore in Bangkok and check out what's in stock. You never know what you will find in places like this and there may be something you never knew you wanted until you see it. This was my first ever visit to Thunder Bike, but may not be my last, as their selection and service seem to exceed expectations. Ill show you around and give you my take on the various models and prices.

Cannot believe all those clean looking bikes ! Thanks for sharing a fun afternoon!
New subscriber, I'm not necessarily a motorbike enthusiast, but your channel is so much more, very informative and delivered in a calm, clear manner.
Thanks and Welcome 🙏
I love the videos you do on bikes tganks for sharing
Thanx for sharing found it interesting
Great selection at that bike shop. I’m liking the retro style at the moment. Yamaha PG-1, Kawasaki W230/ W800
Thanks!
Awesome 👍🙏🙏
I was in Turkey recently and had a empriente multi pouchette with me. They show me a kislux bag and it looked just like it.
Lucus, excellent video. I think visiting other big tent locations in other cities makes for great content.. Your knowledge on bikes is appreciated. Keep up the good vids.
Thanks 👍🙏
Good to see you having fun and sharing in the excitement. BTW, I'm not a bike guy though the green one on the click bait screen sure is nice looking! Thanks for taking us on another adventure. ;)
Very welcome 👍🙏
For sure , I can see spending Hours in that Shop..Something as a
Candy Store for Adults .. Good Sunday am for a Bie Tour . Thans ..
I’m partial to the “family truckster”. It’s perfect for hauling my gear and riding all over Thailand. Thanks for the tour. Looks like i need to come up with about $10,000 for my next bike in Thailand. I can park it next to my $10,000 knock down house. Gotta have one of those also!
2005 Haruki Murakami black LV Speedy 30, near mint, from a pawn shop in the bay authenticated (but girl, I knew it from the pictures). I snagged it for $1000 while all the others were gone!! I hope itâs not haunted!! Haha!! Love your channel!! â¦Um, I bought a Dooney Florentine Nano Satchel and a medium Amelia Florentine from kislux â¦but wait, Kurt Geiger Kensington, Chanel 19 denimâ¦and a Hermes Officier Birkin 30, gold togo with double, yellow swift stripe/left front and yellow interior/palladium. Look at this, so chic!!!
Hey Lucas, fantastic vid , Great Range of second hand bikes I am partially to the BMW personnel Decent prices also thank you for the time spent on the vid Great information Cheers Chris
Very Welcome Chris 👍
I think the shown BMW bikes are Indian made and therfore the "good" price.
Enjoyed the vid!! Some very sweet rides indeed...like a kid in a candy store, so hard to choose!
👍👍👍
What a great resource Lucas. Thank you. BMW did stop making the C650. Mine is the C650GT model. Great little cruising bike.
👍👍👍
That's a great showroom, plenty of bikes, and room too look around them👌👌👍👍
Thanks for sharing and happy Thanksgiving from the USA ! Enjoy ...
you too Karl 👍
Nice selection I like the ADV 350 Have a great day 🙏
Same to you Robert 👍🙏
I own one. Went around Thailand, Laos and Cambodia on it
Dang Lucas. You need a garage for the bike collection! Good for you man! 🫵
Thank you for providing the Link using US Google Maps. That's a Big Help!
Buy the Triumph! Best bike for the buck!
Kid in a candy shop comes to mind😅
Great to view your level of enthusiasm for a leisure pursuit close to your heart.
I have been looking for a scooter primarily for more local transport and I just bought an Aprilia SR200 GT Sport, with only 1,700 km, 1 year old and it's in new condition as you would expect! A great ride, with that little extra power and smooth as silk! I am considering a Triumph Speedmaster for longer journey's and touring, so this may prove top be the place I can find one! It has to be pristine for me and low km, so we will see what I can find! I think it's worth a trip from Udonthani for a few days to look around Bangkok and see what else I might be tempted with!
Huge selection at mostly reasonable prices ,and you get a smile from Fa thrown in .Nice . I like the small BMW 310 cc ,at what seems a cheap price for a BMW.
Good choice!
Has to be the Bonneville for me.
: ) WOW! LOVE bike shopping! THANKS MUCH for sharing and ENJOY ! ! ALL the BEST and Cheers ! : )
Thanks Marty 👍👍👍
Great job Lucas ! Not surprised as you are “well read” in the motor cycle market. imho…thanks. :-))
Love the shirt ❤
Finaly, some MC content
So many bikes to sort out. That is a dream task...❤ I have personal experiences from Yamaha, Honda, Suzuki and Triumph. All except the Triumph was below 700cc. The Triumph Trophy was a 1200cc beautiful creation with original saddle bags, original green color and the Union Jack painted on the fairing (I'm Swedish). I loved this bike the most. It was a 1996 model and if it had been a human, it had been a Super model 🤪.
That was a great place to visit! So many different types and styles to look at. If I ever look to buy one , you are my consultant and go to guy for advise. 😊
Thanks Timothy
I never regretted buying a Ducati Monster. I got it new at the Pattaya Ducati (it closed during the pandemic).
I'd guess that the Rebel and the Vulcan are both made in TH, so they're cheaper new and therefore more popular.
Nice to see a few Benellis, that cheeky wee 502C has my name on it. think the more i see it i prefer its looks to the Diavel.
@15:12 you skipped over the Triumph 1200 Thruxtun RS. I had one with the half fairing for a few years, amazing torque monster of a bike but not comfortable for me to ride (I'm too tall). I didn't ride it much but sure liked seeing it in my garage and I miss it.
If you are considering a Kawaskai Vulcan; think; do you want forward pedals and type in TH-cam Rebel 500 vs Vulcan and see the reviews.
Honda is always a safe bet in Thailand.
Question ? I have CB300 F and the Digitial odometer lights are fading. I have priced a new one at about 3000B. But Honda Big Wing has said if it is replaced the odometer will start from ZERO. Do you know anything about this? Great video many bikes to look at there.
You would love the Guzzi V7.... CB 1100 Black edition... BMW R1250R .... Z900 RS SE.... BMW R Nine T.... can't go wrong with any of them... I am like you, same age, getting off the touring bike, more standard bike and you can also tour on it for few days if you have to, even at our age
Good prices on the Speedtwins, far better bike that the T100 to ride but it seems comfort for two is more your priority
Lots to chose from! I like the Burgman:) and the bmw scooter, but it is expensive! lol
You need one of those Ducatis! Zoom!
Have a safe trip!
Right on!
I had a 2017 Harley Night Rod that I sold before moving to Thailand, don't see many here.
Had a 2005 t100 put 40k miles on it. I now have a 2018 T120. It's worth paying the extra for a T120.. 😊
I believe you are right 👍
Thanks for the update of Bike shop in Bangkok. Question Locus, about 3 + years ago you did a video of a older Thai man Shop I think In Pattaya and had a 1990 or 91 HD Softail in his little shop, you remember his Address or Location??? Thanks Locus
Could have been Route 66 on Klang, not sure if they still sell bikes or not, I think they used to do rentals of HDs.
Motorcycles don’t get red plates like cars anymore. Had 4 new bikes in Thailand none were issued red plates.
3 provinces still issue red plates for motorcycles. Pattaya, Phetchaburi and Prachuap. I was informed of this by the salesman (Bangkok) who sold me my Speed 400.
The Big bikes I keep considering in Thailand:
Honda Rebel 500 so short Thai secretary can use
Honda CB650R for those 4 cylinders
Honda CB1100 for those 4 cylinders
Kawasaki Z900RS for those 4 cylinders and bench seat and analogue looking dials.
Very nice, so many choices 👍🤣🤣
C800 will do for me or the Bonny. You definitely need a smaller commuter as well. Kid in a sweet shop comes to mind. 😉
👍👍👍
You'd throw the saddlebag on the Bonnie away?
@@1990-t1j Yes, it's ugly and mounted in the wrong place!
Try a rebel 1100. Would be great for Thailand roads. Great mix of light cruiser and semi sporty bike.
I think some of those rebel 500 were traded in to buy rebel 1100s 🤣
Triumph's are very attractive and well made. I don't like the 'welded seam' gas tanks! Older Triumphs you couldn't see the seams!
@@senianns9522 You know your right too! I owned a 1957 T100 & a 1969 Bonnie & the tanks were so beautiful.
Why don't they get it? The welded seam and the conture of the tanks is so ugly!
I just watch this video the price you show on the bikes is that with or with Taxes. Do you need to have a Thai Bank account to buy on credit. thanks Ken Tucker
kislux bag collection and subscribers have grown. And somehow she remained grounded, relatable, authentic. Thatâs why Iâm still here
Great video mate, hope do many more like this and cars and conventions.... what's insurance like. And can a falang buy any size. Also do they sell helmets as well... if I ever moved to Pattaya I'd want you as my mate as filull of experiences😊
1:05 Tolle Auswahl an 🏍🏍🏍Lukas 👍Gruß Achim ☕️
I loved the 2 cb1100s that i had- 2014's. I rolled one up to 80k miles so I bought a second worrying that i would wear it out. Both were used and with under 1k miles for around $5k to $6k. Nobody wanted that bike here! Sold one to my buddy for $2000 as long as I get use of it when I come back from thailand to go camping in the rockies. I have 150k miles of experience on the bike, so if you have any questions about upside or downsides, just ping me.
I am a bit concerned about the bike running hot over here, due to the air cooled engine. Any issues with that
Think I could get into biking in Thailand if they have a helmet with air-conditioning. How do folks prevent the brain from overheating in that climate?
They don't wear a helmet.....
that blacked out cb500x behind you looked pretty sweet
The all new CB1000 Hornet is due out early next year, definitely worth a look
Yes, for sure 👍
I like looking at bikes, but not riding them on the streets, only off road, as I had a few friends killed on these death trap coffins on wheels. I had a Honda 350 scrambling machine back in 72 for a while. My favorite bike was the 1972 Kawasaki Mach IV H2 Triple, aka the Widow Maker. The 750 was a suicide machine. Beautiful sound.
👍👍👍
An Indian scout would be a good option. But then I’m biased. I love mine back home.
I had a Victory Octane, pretty fast bike, but came with Bias Ply tires, and non ABS, got pretty sporty on wet roads.
Awesome they accept trades!
Try a Honda Monkey 125; you will be surprised the smile you will have on your face.
They are only 100,000 baht new in Thailand.
Thoughout that traffic without an automatic transmission? Sounds tough to me.
Ive been looking for an S1000R and 289K is a pretty good deal for a 2018 model year bike
I'm wondering if i csn drive my electtic scvooter there without a licence & helmet...😊
Hi, big guy should go with big bike, I will take the gold wing. Good luck and enjoy at Hua Hin,
👍👍👍
15:54 she is cute and you guys look good together
He’s with the other one but i agree with you
What happened to the gnarly white bike?
I was wondering what happened to the four cylinder white yammie?
Buy the T100! I took delivery of my Speed 400 (enough bike for me) from Bangkok just over 2 weeks ago, it won't have a red plate when all the documentation arrives. I believe that only Pattaya, Phetchaburi and Prachuap have red plates for motorcycles. Looks like a big oil stain under that Gold Wing. Welcome to the good side of the bay!
Very nice!
lol, I've been looking ages and ages for a BMW c650 sport in thailand and now randomly see one in your video, called them and ofc it's gone already
Cheers mate,
🙂
That's Heaven Lou..... 👍
👍👍👍
Are you not interested in the Kawasaki 900 rs? I thought that's a good option.
I live in Hua Hin and I have a 650 Bergman for sale 11,000 km
CB 1100RS all day. They’re around 565k new, so I don’t think those prices are too out of line 👍
My only concern with them is the fact they are air\oil cooled. Would rather have water cooled over here in the heat, but if you stay out of city traffic, they might be ok.
@ Is the 10° atmospheric temperature difference a genuine concern for over heating? I doubt it.
T100 would be my option. CB110 and others is too heavy for city driving. I had Versys 650 too and changed it to Z900. More power for me then I can handling. T100 is good to drive with 2 people. So gf can be taken around too.
How do you keep your stateside drivers license current?
Hi, Lucas! Does Thunder Bike own the used bikes outright OR are they on consignment?
A plethora of well maintained bikes to choose from. Decisions, decisions 🤔
It looks like DG Big bike shop (name change)?
these prices are CRAZY for thailand,
i think thailand is very quickly become very expensive.
a lot of people with money go there to early retirement.
"you never know" sums it up
Naked Honda CB1100 hands Down. No Contest!
👍👍🙏
What is there youtube Chanel called thans mate
link in description
Triumphs are so awesome
Can you get discount or is it sticker price
That z900 is nice
I own the only Suzuki VL-800/CT-500-C5 class in Germany, probably Europe. Imported from the USA and after conversions to EU standards found out that it is classified as a C-5 motorcycle whereas other imports are C-4 and C-6. That means I can not sell the bike as a whole, only parts since I would need pollution classification and tests that would make the bike too expensive to sell. Suzuki/Germany never mentioned that when speaking to them prior to importtion. Would never sell anyway!
Very interesting, but I think a good bike to cruise Deutschland 👍
Most countries around the world the license or number plate stays with the bike, only the usa do it differently
To me they all look great in my town there was only one bike shop it closed up a while ago the owner got sick there’s to women form thiland doing thia messages I heard they r doing well😊
Have to be careful buying a Triumph. I was at a dealership in USA when they uncrated a Speed Triple with no rings in the motor.
I won't trust them.
I like the Beamers.
Cool 👍
Did you see a husqvarna vitpilin?
Big kid toy store!
No H-D?
King of a scooter market would be T-max or X-adv …..Lucas
Loucous, Fireblade or R1!!
Friend just bought a new Triumph 180,000 Bhat. Chain sprocket is hitting crankcase, water in oil. Brand new, Pattaya can't deal with it, England is now. Buyer beware. In the shop but paying for it. @#'
OMG, sounds bad.
Yes sold as new at Pattaya dealership. I'm viewing all correspondence since the beginning. No service record on Pattayas computer. Bangkok office visited Pattaya last week, couldn't handle it. In England now.
Most expensive dealer ever or am I wrong?
That black CB500X over your shoulder, is a beast. I’ll take it! 👌
Nice bikes. I've got a Bonneville T120 Black 2019 with just above 20.000km on the clock. No time to ride it anymore.. I'm the only owner, bought it brand new. Hit me up if you're interested. I'm in Bangkok.
Most of those are probably from people who couldn’t afford the payments anymore.
Very common in Thailand.
They are like Americans, buy shit they don’t need with money they don’t have 😂
