Not sure Jerry, all I know is the crash bars but you could possibly get them 👍
Well the Rim Tape could help you easier identify your bike if is parked around other X-maxs' in the lot, it's probably a lot more useful if you have a Honda Wave, so many of them around about.

good choice, bought a Versys x300 last year, (my 3rd moto over a 30+ year period) last one was a 150cc twist and go from Shanghai 2008-2010'ish, and before that a Sanyang 125 in Taipei 1990-1993

Road tax is 100 BHT and government insurance is 650bht ish. 4 year vehicle inspection for your licencing is 60bht. Also suggest you get both air filters changed as they will be dirty. Order from Lazada.

Good heads up & info about mbike costs there as very reasonable. Lots expats got their own regular mbike servicing shops around town I guess but that one looks good with all in house. I’m a Honda PCX AdV fan so guess be bit cheaper to run than an Xmax 300. The rims look good as look like BMW M power colours. 🤔😉😎
Thanks mate, would definitely be cheaper for a PCX/ADV, both good bikes but for what I do I need a bigger bike and the Xmax is perfect for me 👍. Yeah rim tape definitely has the M look, see if I get sick of it as I have major OCD 😩 If it annoys me after a while it’s coming off

Hi mate, thank you. He was happy with the Xmax but he likes to change bikes/cars a lot. We will make a video in the future and put them head to head. He said the ADV is not that much different and some aspects of the Xmax are better 👍

Is the rim tape reflective at night? Thought you may have gone with gold with the white duco.
Don’t think so, I actually really like gold rims on a white bike and was going to get the rims painted gold but wanted to try the tape first, maybe one day I will get them painted 👍
One hell of a lot cheaper then what it use to cost me for my Yamaha 1100 in Canada... the tape on the rims.... I can take it or leave it... nice to have a little customization.

It one thing to go to independant place but it cost me 345 baht for my xmax service from the yamaha dealership , here in bkk the yr tax cost me 425 baht including the compulsary insurance ( tor ror bor )

Not sure mate, I know there is a shop that sells modified bikes that have 2 rear wheels, I will call in there one day and ask if they rent them

I'm in the USA and I'm picking up my new 2023 Xmax 300 soon !!! How do you like the price for all the things that come standard ???? Does yours go 80 mph easily ?
That’s good, mine is a 2022 and the price was okay, just no discount and wasn’t offered any options. Gets up to 120kph pretty quickly 👍. Enjoy your new bike mate

What’s needed to be 100% legal when riding a bike been want to rent one in pattaya when I’m vacation. I always see the police writing tickets to them.
If you are here for a holiday/vacation make sure you have an international license that includes motorcycle, here long term you need a Thai license 👍
If I do a PayPal like you did I can also afford to buy a large motorbike

The x max is a great bike .Road tax in Thailand is tiny ,i forget exactly maybe B250 for a 300 cc .Here in Ireland i have an older xmax 250 cc .Road tax here is B3,000 a year and fully Comp insurance about 50% more than you are paying .I do the servicing myself for oil changes .I had a N-M,ax when i was in Thailand .Bought it at Union Auctions Chiang Mai as one year old . Had to sell it when leaving .Sad to let it go .

Road tax for my Kawasaki D-Tracker 250 is just over 100 baht, so shouldnt cost much more, rim stickers look good for the price, just depends how long they stay on....

rims look great, kinda M3 styling colours...............................re oil changes, I had Clicks for many many years and used to have the oil changed (just cheapo lube) every 2000 miles or so and they never missed a beat, bit extreme I know, but was sooh cheap, seemed like the right thing to do................................

Mine was bought end of 2022 and was 183,500 baht but the 2023 is more 👍

I’m not a financial advisor but people tell me you could invest 100k in fully franked dividend stocks that pay you an amount each year or maybe quarterly??? Maybe talk to someone about it. I budget 30,000 baht per month for everything excluding rent and you can rent a decent studio for around 5000 baht per month
