@@jfme8785 latin countries are countries colonized by Spain or Portugal. Haiti and Dominican Republic use to be a country called Hispaniola. So they’re considered Latin and Hispanic bc some parts also speak Spanish 🙂
@@jfme8785 Usually does not mean always. Latin America indicates colonies of countries that speak romance languages (hence the Latin part), which French falls under. Thus, Haiti is included as they were colonized by the French.

Haiti is NOT a Latin country. It is a FRENCH country. Has been since 1697 until its French independence in 1825

I remember being 6-7 yrs old, and my mom & aunt made this homemade. 😋😋😋 cracking coconuts, twisting the inside of the coconut, and getting as much juice as you can.

With coquito being traditionally from Puerto Rico, the most authentic looking one was that of Bianca, coquito should be light beige not watery and with cinnamon on top, however Don Q is the preferred rum for puertoricans.
