Ok a couple of things. 1) sweat decals, bloody clever I will be using that. 2) I think we need to start hyperlinking together a proper tips library on the derfcord. Or as a copy paste anywhere thing actually. ❤ just as links to specific time codes of specific videos.
i think the glow on the skin is meant to emulate subsurface scattering. the issue arises when it doesn't account for layers on top of the skin, or it being obscured by shadow
Yeah. If you lower roughness on hair, darken it slightly, and put it on a decal at the frnt of the head, it looks as though the hair is dirtied/wet/sweaty
Do you have an account on the Heroforge community that comes with pro? If so, I'd like to browse around your section for ideas--i'm completely drained!
I do have an account on the HF community, but I don't upload my models to the library I'm afraid. All of my publicly shared models are available only via the links in the descriptions of my videos
I'm a Top laner who enjoys playing unorthodox things in top lane, but my overall list would be; Vladimir - Darius - Warwick - Rammus - Mundo - Singed - Kled
It's difficult to make a belly look really fat in HF. I admittedly haven't really figured out a good trick for it - at least not with only one model. If you have access to Pro, and you don't mind this orc being very small, then I could have some tricks, but that's very niche. I can however direct you to my Heroforge Complete Face Guide if you want tips on how to make a fat FACE, but it won't tell you much about beer bellies
My RL schedule has now become significantly more lax - so, more videos coming up!
Yes happy
The sleek dragon horns also work really well for tongues, and they're a lot more flexible since they can go on so many different horn slots
Best derfing intro for my ADHD. Love it.
7:18 It looks great but might want to do something about the other end of the hammer... lol
:x
@@Derfholm Sauron's smiling today.
I started using your tips about a month ago, and now I just can’t go without! ❤️✨✨
The shoulder flares look great. I might have to remodel some stuff now
Great Video, Finally know how to make that weird tongue thingy, I was trying to get it with tails
Pro Tip for Landsknecht pants:
Overlay a duplicate mini and amputate alternate legs; now you can colour the two legs with different colour schemes.
5head
whenever i get bored of heroforge i just have to watch your videos end then I get new stuff to play with
Hahaha thank you

Not a bad idea, can try to think of ways to do that

Derf… a League of Legends ENJOYER… I’ll never see you the same 😭
18:36 OMG i need to see this so much
The full build is in the Reworking Sub Models #3 video!
@@Derfholm ok thx

Great video! Can we get another challenge at the derfscord? I really Think that was a lot of fun.
Working on it! It's coming up :D
🎉GREAT!🎉 will be looking forward!
I can't believe you used fuzz
whats so wrong with fuzz, *Rylie*?
@@chaoticshort goddammit I'm not even safe from you here
can we sea a tip on making characters that are both gritty, and sweaty?
I'm going to be making an overall guide on 'Grit in Heroforge' eventually, so it'll probably be included then!
@@Derfholm oh that's coo,! I'd love to see that!
Derf upload? Nice
Well, on the bright side, the red glow on the skin is only a problem if you waste money on the subscription thing. XD
What if you used the same sweat technique with hair decals?
Yeah. If you lower roughness on hair, darken it slightly, and put it on a decal at the frnt of the head, it looks as though the hair is dirtied/wet/sweaty

Is there anyway to give a character a big beer belly? I wanna make a fat orc shaman

My comments for the algorithm have *got* to get sillier.
