Side note for anyone who doesn't have a Pro subscription (such as myself), the most recent Hero Forge update made the option to use numerical inputs for sliders available to everyone. Yay! I'll definitely be submitting something for the rework video.

As far as commisions go, be aware that the legality of that is kinda sketchy. People have gotten in a lot of trouble charging to make models, so if you go down that route tread lightly.

Glad to hear you're finding a way to support yourself, man. I imagine its tough creating these videos and tougher doing it knowing there wont be much return on investment. Good luck going forward with everything! Its been great hanging in the discord for the last 2 years, youve done a great job fostering a community and bringing aware ess to the tool, the hobby and the higher skills achieveable within hero forge. Hello Dwerf, I'm new to dnd and heroforge just found your channel, but absolutely love your content man. I hope I can get a few tips about my heroforge character. I dont know if you do those types of requests, but I thought I give it a shot. I'm playing as a dark elf rogue (There is almost nothing about drows on the internet). a tip for anyone who cares, me and my party have been playing through tabletop simulator, and you can import the minis on heroforge, and there are dnd mods on the workshop that are insane, we can 99% replicate the feeling of playing in a irl table!

Apparently paying them every month only gets us *some* early access features. Some bullshit, just cause I'm not a content creator..

Don't know if this would be helpful in any way, but a while ago I started using a "test colour" on my figures: Giving the entire figure a colour that will not be in the end product and really stands out (for me, it's usually the latex pink, since it's a very bright colour that will stand out and that I never found a use for in a character). That way, I can more easily see, if I forgot to colour a visible part. And once I'm happy with how it looks, I just delete it from the figures colour palette to get rid of the seams.

When does kitbashing come out of testing?

Finding your videos has completely transformed how I use hero forge. My models used to be so trash and now I'm at a place where my dnd group is having me make models for our campaigns. I definitely have a lot more room to grow and still have a lot of tools I can improve on using but this channel has made the learning process so much better.
