I’ve got the black stone as well, and so far I’ve just been simply hosing it off. Not any more 👍🏻. Quick question, what are the auxiliary lights you are using? Are you going to do a video on them?
cheap and effective lights from Temu cost £24 for the pair and yes I am going to do a video on them. I used a £5 relay and Moto Guzzi kindly provide a switched live under the seat ready for a sat nav in a super seal socket. I used this to switch on the relay from the handlebars.
Only 1600. I picked it up at the end of September 23 and we’ve had so much rain I just couldn’t be bothered to go out. Now March is almost here I’m hoping the weather will get better. It’s really starting to piss me off.
@@dbharrold `23 must be among the wettest I can remember . Mine is May `23 and came after a `20 750. I did cover a fair number of miles on my 850 and have paid the price. Guzzi finish is not great and I am not a natural cleaner , so I have flaking ,paint in several areas and the only remedy is refinishing. Prevention definitely better than cure so time cleaning and applying protection is time well spent. It would not be fair to say the 850 is worse than the 750 as the 850 has spent much of its life wet and covered in all forms of aggressive road shite!. Carry on cleaning and I will try and learn by your example.
Great timing! Literally looking for cleaning and polishing videos 👍
i like to use ez insta gloss after the snow foam and shampoo contact wash stage makes drying even easier and leaves a nice gloss finish too 😀
Thx for the tip

Great stuff. I look forward to the video. Never used Temu or the like. Perhaps I’ll start.
Some of it is fine others crap. You take a punt but for the silly prices it’s worth it sometimes
Looks like new ,how many miles on it now?
