    About this van:
It was during the Covid pandemic that Jennifer decided to build out her van Sage and commit to full-time vanlife. Her campervan van conversion is so homely and beautifully finished, and definitely one I'd love to live in. I especially liked how she did the partition and hidden natures head toilet. Really stunning job and definitely one worth checking out!

ive seen a few thats feels homey and still very very efficient, BUT yet to see one that has all of the above and a small bathroom, ones with bathrooms tend to be very tight and not homey at all or lack in other areas such as a kitchen or cosy bed area!

The spaciousness is an optical illusion from the filming techniques used. Very common in van life videos and stills. It makes it looks bigger than a regular RV. Living in one is when reality hits you. Good start is to take a roll of masking tape and tape out a full size floor plan for the vehicle you are interested in making the build in.

I can vouch for the composting toilet. My in laws have one on their sailboat, and as long as everything goes in the right compartment, you rotate, and change accordingly- it never smells. There's an actual head with a sink and a door - and they put the toilet on a platform to raise it up. Which is a possibility in a conversion van, depending on the size. And no black water tank is great.

How is it done?
Also there's probably a weight limit for these kinda builds but does that take into account the supplies and resources too? I wonder how it all works.. I don't wanna delve too deep into it though. Just really curious on it.

Being close to the door is probably easier to empty and better for odors. Wonder what you do with compost if you don't have a garden available? How much poo/compost does it hold before you need to empty? What ratio of poo to compost? Has anyone done a video about this in detail?
