It's a fantastic layout for occasional getaway, a few weeks or even months. The layout might not be practical if you plan to live on it full time. But I love the concept of a happy jack and the plaster cement thing. This is an amazing first time build. Kudos to this couple.
Love the layout too. Could be because standing height is 5’6” under bed. Could also be it might only work on a 170 sprinter or any of the longer wheelbase vans. Would be interesting to see if someone did this layout in a shorter van
@@JarrodTocci It could be possible, though there certain things that could be omitted (less cabinet space for instance). That wall to the driver side might have to be removed for extra room. Would love to see someone's take of this layout.
After careful review, this is the #1 build on the van life circuit hands down. Full bath, bed lift, full seating opening to the sliding door, full kitchen and plenty of storage. The 2 sinks are mind blowing.
Wow the only van I could move into without changing A thing! From the walkable solar panel to the elevated bed and the all in one bathroom. This is perfection 💘

This is one of the best builds I’ve seen for a Class B. The separation from the sleeping and where guests would sit with their outside clothes is amazing. It also acts as a remote work area. The shower bathroom vanity set up is so well made the attention to detail is spectacular.
I second every word! I never make comments on social media but I just felt I had to here. Every single detail is outstanding. …and don’t talk to me if there is no sink in a bathroom!…that’s gross! I'm currently living in my first unplanned van life situation. It is so freeing and relaxing. Fist I did was 300w solar. I just received my 200Ah of LiFePo4 last week and haven't gotten around to them yet. I know it will be amazing compared to my refurbished 20Ah AGM. My added benefit/room is an observatory! I do some astronomy and use the sliding door as my observatory door with my scope standing ready. I keep scope weighted down and bungee it up to roof so it rides fine and always ready. I just unhook the roof bungee and can set it outside in seconds. Separate red solar led strand for the astro nights. I also do amateur radio and CB and often run 500w output and setup home base antenna to do better. The LiFePo4 and solar are mainly to power my radio rig off-grid for a weekend or more. Well that was the plan until I moved into the van now I have 2x large TV's, a bed, cook tops, potty, heater, AC options coming next year and customizations like dividing wall with door, window and vents to separate the living area from front and side entrance. I think vans are becoming more and more important in our society with the ever increasing cost of life and the people/individuals (sheep if you will) becoming more sour. I need this 'out' to happen so I have insurance against home loss or dangers that may force an impromptu move like fire or flooding. Good to have a lifeboat! Our society is fragile and looks prone to collapse, I don't trust it. My safety and freedoms are my responsibility!
The design inside, colouring, materials, absolutely perfect! Elegant, practical, and luxurious. Seriously, it looks better than those 2 million dollars vans, I mean, the interior design
Seriously one of the nicest camper vans I have ever seen. The attention to detail, the styling and the usability. You can really tell they put a lot of effort into making this and making it not only very homey but functional as well. Kudos to them for such an inspiring build!
I've watched a lot of "Van Build" videos on a variety of TH-cam channels. I have to say, this is my number one all-time favorite van build! Great set-up. Great colors. Great flow of movement in the van. Having the "bedroom" above the "living room" is great. The ONLY thing I would change is the cook top. I prefer to cook with gas. Thank you for sharing this build!!
Thank you! We also debated a lot, and personally I prefer cooking on gas always. But we decided in the van that safety and practicality wise it just makes more sense to go induction.

I'm just floored that this is your first build. It's so sophisticated and elegant, as if the result of many previous builds. I can't imagine how much better it will get. Agree about 2 wheel drive. Love the sensibility on every level.
The best layout so far. Clean, spa-like, and I love the fact that the bathroom is in the back & the toilet can be tucked away. But and BUT For me ... instead of a wall separating the front... I'd just use a nice curtain, drape, or some kind of covering that you could roll up to be held up with a nice string, ribbon, rope ...
The bed there is amazing, saved so much space and gives a proper living room feel. The fact you can sit in the living room or lie in bed with the door open is epic. Would be good if you could stand up there though.

Amazing build! Looks incredible and very usable space. If the Laveo ever added a urine diverter into a small canister you could remove and dump, I think it would be absolutely perfect!

A class act! I was just viewing a pricy professional (when the vehicle manufacturer contracts with the interior designer and puts out a line of exactly this version?) van and every surface was something different! It was awful! I love the decorator-clean feel here. All the wood blends together--so important in such a tiny place. One piece that contrasts and stands out can be stunning, but when the ceiling is a beautiful cedar, countertops are something else, floors yet another creation...screaming plastic {"wood look" in a completely unreal wood product), and lagoon table and cutting board are yet another wood, you have tacky chaos. Wonderful result avoiding that chaos. This van looks like such a relaxing, adult home. Reminds me of babysitting for rich families 🤐 as a teenager. Quality pieces--we'd never know when you hid the thin table behind the extra strips of wood if you hadn't told us. Just so elegant--which I never was by birth.

I have seen hundreds of van layouts, too, and didn't think anyone could come up with a new one. This is definitely one of the best ideas. Nice materials and workmanship. It is none of my business, but I wonder why they sold it and how much it sold for. Also, bench seats are normally horrible to sit on, but these look a little better: maybe wider with better cushions. Great build!
Love this build, it’s so beautiful and comfortable. What a beautiful couple and it’s heart warming that they never forget to give a shout out to Shaiden and credit where credit is due.
I usually don't like vans which has the washroom right in front of the kitchen and having to wash your hair and mouth in the kitchen sink 😅....but this layout in both or their vans is just amazing.....loved the design and it still doesn't take a lot of space loved every part of it😍😍😍😍
I’ve seen a gazillion van builds. This is by far the most practical yet beautiful space I’ve seen to date. An L lounge, bed, outdoor table, closet, pantry, spacious bath?! Come on! Truly amazing.
I have seen hundreds of builds, from vans to campers, even very small tiny homes and apartments. I am restoring an old '72 Shasta camper that is around 110 sq ft.. I'm an artist and very into interior design as a side hobby, and I just wanted to congratulate you on a very beautiful home made in such a small space. I will be incorporating a lot of your ideas as inspiration, I am so thankful for this video! Kudos

This is the best layout I ever saw. Clean, livable and cozy! I would have used a "high top" van to gain more room for the bed so just in case one needs to rest in bed and the other one has to work on the laguna table they both can but this is near perfection to my taste! ❤
Not only was it an incredible van build (which btw, mind blown!!!), but you also had the perfect backdrop for the video with the parasailor showing up in the right spots as if on cue. Way to go, Kyle!
If they did build it in a community with other van builders, I’m sure this layout has been replicated at a much lower cost.. the layout is probably the best I’ve ever seen.. and the bed doesn’t necessarily need to be on a lift at all, which I am sure is an expensive component.. One could literally just add some extra cushions and boards and stack them in the seating area to create a bed, and then replicate most of the rest of the layout to a similar calibre of quality, and in any other type of van, I should think.. Did you scour their YT channel to find out their budget ? Just to verify .. And thanks, btw :)
@@IyoLu the bed does need to be on a lift because it will just be a giant hassle to have to lower your bed every night when u are beaten from the day i feel like. Thats also the main reason how they fit the bathroom and in my opinion even after that space requirement reduction the back of the van feels claustrophobic with the insane amount of storage they have put
Best I’ve seen so far. It’s astonishing how even the purpose built motor homes look so utilitarian; regardless which brand it is. Surely, if motorhome manufacturers like Thor copied this style of ambient appearance, they’d smash it with their sales?
It is a phenomenal build, unique enough, making it one of my favorite to date. It is definitely in the top 10 from hundreds I've seen. And BTW, great job, Kyle!
This is the van of my dreams. That bed is genius! The whole build is spectacular. Beautiful, modern but cozy esthetic with everything you could possibly want for van life.
Fantastic little van! LOVE IT! I love the wood engraving on the door the lady did! Would love to have seen a close up but I get the general idea. That is really cool personal little touch! Love the walnut veneer and the lighting and the general mood in the van.

Gas require extra tank, so extra storage, limited in such type of builds. Also produce specific smell & burn oxygene, so I vote for current decision.
I like the idea of pulling from home designs rather than other van designs. I think this will become the base of what I want my build too look like

I usually don't like vans which has the washroom right in front of the kitchen and having to wash your hair and mouth in the kitchen sink 😅....but this layout in both or their vans is just amazing.....loved the design and it still doesn't take a lot of space loved every part of it😍😍😍😍
I’ve seen a gazillion van builds. This is by far the most practical yet beautiful space I’ve seen to date. An L lounge, bed, outdoor table, closet, pantry, spacious bath?! Come on! Truly amazing.
Ingenious design. I would replicate that any day over some of these other layouts. Love it!
I have seen hundreds of builds, from vans to campers, even very small tiny homes and apartments. I am restoring an old '72 Shasta camper that is around 110 sq ft.. I'm an artist and very into interior design as a side hobby, and I just wanted to congratulate you on a very beautiful home made in such a small space. I will be incorporating a lot of your ideas as inspiration, I am so thankful for this video! Kudos

This is the best layout I ever saw. Clean, livable and cozy! I would have used a "high top" van to gain more room for the bed so just in case one needs to rest in bed and the other one has to work on the laguna table they both can but this is near perfection to my taste! ❤

This is one of the nicest builds I’ve seen, especially for a first time project. Only con would be lack of storage space.

If they did build it in a community with other van builders, I’m sure this layout has been replicated at a much lower cost.. the layout is probably the best I’ve ever seen.. and the bed doesn’t necessarily need to be on a lift at all, which I am sure is an expensive component..
One could literally just add some extra cushions and boards and stack them in the seating area to create a bed, and then replicate most of the rest of the layout to a similar calibre of quality, and in any other type of van, I should think..
Did you scour their YT channel to find out their budget ? Just to verify ..

@@IyoLu the bed does need to be on a lift because it will just be a giant hassle to have to lower your bed every night when u are beaten from the day i feel like. Thats also the main reason how they fit the bathroom and in my opinion even after that space requirement reduction the back of the van feels claustrophobic with the insane amount of storage they have put

Best I’ve seen so far. It’s astonishing how even the purpose built motor homes look so utilitarian; regardless which brand it is. Surely, if motorhome manufacturers like Thor copied this style of ambient appearance, they’d smash it with their sales?
It is a phenomenal build, unique enough, making it one of my favorite to date. It is definitely in the top 10 from hundreds I've seen. And BTW, great job, Kyle!

This is the van of my dreams. That bed is genius! The whole build is spectacular. Beautiful, modern but cozy esthetic with everything you could possibly want for van life.
Fantastic little van! LOVE IT! I love the wood engraving on the door the lady did! Would love to have seen a close up but I get the general idea. That is really cool personal little touch! Love the walnut veneer and the lighting and the general mood in the van.
