It has such a unique layout that looks so different from the typical van layouts. Plus that's a cute bird she's painting!
@@seattlerain4809 There's plenty of people doing exactly that and having more fun than you, tired from your 9 till 5 on your toilet, contemplating where you did wrong while you munch on your cheddar cheese block from the fridge.
I've never lived in an apartment with no refrigerator and no toilet. Have you?

I love how you can walk through the van and the bed space is still its own cozy little nook. There’s plenty of storage and a real indoor shower. I would say, it’s one of the best, most unique builds I’ve seen, replicating the look and feel of a home on wheels.

Usually, they feel extremely claustrophobic. Even the Sprinters at 220k. Lol

Love the spacial areas not boxy also the shades are perfect!! More on the lighting etc please.
Between the roomy shower and murphy bed, the spaciousness is maximized! This design seemingly creates a fourth dimension of space!

Yes! I was thinking the same thing. I saw a folding bed in one van that you lift up to make a sofa and have more space. This one gives you a whole wall. Her van looks so spacious!
This van is gorgeous. Unique use of the space making it look like a studio apartment. But where is the fridge and do you have a toilet?

I don't have a loo or a fridge, I do have a coolbox! There are several reasons for this, so what I think I'm going to do is make a short video on my channel in the coming week about some of those reasons, (and other questions people had!) rather than writing a length reply to every comment :-)
Drop down bed is much more practical
@@MiaHawkART No passage from the cab into the living space either? So you have to use either the side door or the rear doors to get in? You've done a really nice job, I'm curious to see if the screwed together aluminum will hold up. Creative solution!

Most propane tanks leak that cupbord that yours is in needs to be air tight on the inside and needs a vent to the outside so you dont suffocate or blow yourself up seriously.
People are like best van build they've ever seen.... seriously the finish was not great and did you see the electrics???
This does NOT look like a van, or any kind of RV. It looks like a really nice studio apartment, both in floorplan and decoration. I absolutely adore this!! The only thing I really wish you had included in this video would be the entrance from the side sliding door. If there are other pictures, I would love to see them. I am so impressed with everything she did to this van, including her artwork. I am so inspired (& slightly envious) of her talent. She really should consider starting a business doing this for others. Not only does she include all the neccesry items for day to day living, she also adds little touchess here & there to make it so homey, elegent, comfortable & unique. Best van ever!!!! 💕💕💕

Easier to explain etc :-) and yes! if I ever do need to go for a looooong trip that's completely off grid, that's exactly what my plan was with the loo.
@@MiaHawkART I’ve survived without a fridge before, so know it’s doable 🙂👍 Yessss portable loo for emergencies is a good plan. Then again, if you’re going to be out in the wilderness, a shovel will do the trick as well 😁

This build is quite original and clever. I love the Murphy bed and the blinds on the back. It looks like a warm, comfortable home.
Very well thought out. Storage is great. Great shower. Beautiful wood tones and the bed is awesome. I watched this video 3 times and I didn’t see the fridge, toilet or clothing storage. Not sure how I’m missing them. You should be very proud of the beautiful build.

There are basically about six general van layouts, now there are seven basic van layouts. Your layout is very original. I am impressed with your bed, and the way you have managed to fit everything in. Aluminum framing is a good idea. You are a very hard working skilled person and have created something that shows your personality, well done. Enjoy your travels.

I love the Murphy bed... I’m rather claustrophobic so I would choose lighter colours and add a nice big window above the couch. I’d have to fit in a toilet and small fridge, then it would be perfect for me. I def want to use aluminum framing instead of wood as well so I love seeing good examples of this! 👌🚐 🎨 🐦 💪🏻🗺😎
She can sell the murphy bed design on Etsy Print on Demand to make extra money. This would be great in a stationary home too in a guest room.
I can understand your instinct, but you'd be amazed how dark colors can disappear around you, leaving a sensation at once of infinite space and a cocoon. As a designer, I've done studies for clients in deep tones like chocolate, blue, and burgundy.
I think the Murphy Bed is brilliant.

I just built a bed like this in my sons tiny bedroom and the legs have been giving me nightmares. Not any more, thanks a billion for this inspiration. I was over complicating it all.
I absolutely love this design. I'd like to see a way to get to the cab from inside the van for safety reasons. But this is my favorite build I've ever seen. 😍💜💜💜
Instead of a shelf-top I would install a door/bookcase that leads to the cab. You get the same cozy home feel and just as much storage space if not more..

I agree, although when I was on a bike riding around, I never really thought about this type of thing. Probably b/c on a 900lb bike and heavy leather gear, you look like you'd be armed and not to play with lol

This is one of the coolest van builds I've ever seen 😍
This has to be the most genius van layout I've seen in the thousands I've watched over the last seven years. The ONLY thing I'd change if it were mine is the wall color. Coupled with the dreary cloudy days of the UK 🇬🇧 it would take less than a month to have me so depressed I would do little else but sleep. 😴 Next would be hospitalization which isn't good. I'd paint it some light happy color, and some teal somewhere. Possibly the base cabinets in the kitchen and a very light teal for the back splash.

You can put the toilet in the shower, ive seen that heaps, people just roll it out when they shower. Simple, also the vacuum seal toilet is brilliant. It vacuum seals your poop 💩 down to a tiny size, once all the cartridges are full, you just put them in bim. No smell, no liquid to empty and environment friendly. 😊

This is the coolest, well thought out van I’ve ever seen! I love how she designed this herself. It’s so beautiful! I would totally live in this van.
This is exactly why I want a van too. To escape and be able to focus on my work for several hours at a time each day with minimal other demands on my time or attention. Since I'm just one person, I opted to build a sofa that expands to a bed for one but CAN be extended further up against a sideboard to fit 2 people if needed. I also did not want a fixed bed for the same reason. I MUST have a good work space. I love her color palette and the shower door! Well done!

We had a small caravan with that type of heater. We never used the heater once when it was cold. We bought a fan heater and that was enough to warm the place up. In fact too warm!!

I love the fold up bed idea. Not only cos it saves time but it also keeps the smell from cooking from lingering on the sheets and pillows. Like how you organised your cutlery - v creative like the artist in you.

This is very interesting, the bed idea is very clever. As a fellow artist I find the lack of colour and light a bit depressing but you have packed in a lot into your space. Could not be without a toilet or fridge either.
