***** Yeah most of the third part multiplats( with a few expections) have been pretty bad, but I'd wish that they could have had more time to make some of those games, since many of the third party ports have been very rushed to Wii U and improperly optimized because they didn't take their time to learn how to program the console. Ubisoft and EA are pretty much jokes now, after both of them tried to implement their own practices(uplay and origin) on the console, and are withholding support because they didn't get what they wanted. Ubisoft has pretty much lost all my support with most of their bs practices and that Rayman Legends has been one of the very few really good games the company has made in the last few years.

I really love the fact that you pointed out the 'under dog" aspect of the Wii U. To me that is what makes certain games legendary and more memorable and special like sega saturn etc. Thats so awesome that Europe's Wii U games have a "Nintendo" seal of the sorts with the black 'Nintendo" strip. Hard to confirm a genuine seal anywhere else.
olivevideogames Yeah, I guarantee you that the Wii U will have that "why didn't it do better, it's so awesome" quality to it as years go by, much like the GameCube, Dreamcast and Saturn.
I think by far nintendo consoles are the coolest to collect for just because nintendo has that quality about its games where many of them stand the test of time seemingly forever. Consoles like the xbox and playstation are by and large just in an arms race to get out the best games for today, trying to max out the new systems hardware capabilities while never really creating something new and original. So their games get forgotten about and become unplayable or un-enjoyable in a few years because they don't age well.

I have been out of gaming for about 3-4 years now. Wii U is the only console that makes me want to get back in. PS4 and X1 are cool but the lack character.
It is really impressive how you're able to keep up with the releases of the Wii U! I couldn't bother collecting all games for one console, too much crap to get just for the sake of completion. Although I got to admit that I did not see all that much shovelware in here.

Wow, this is truly incredible man. I love my Wii U (got it and a ton of games for my birthday last year which was coincidentally my first TH-cam video) and it's great to see all the different games that are available for the system. I wasn't even aware of a few of them. Then again, that's one of the nice things about these collection videos: discovering new/lesser known titles. It's funny though. What you're doing for the Wii U, I'm doing for the Playstation Vita, for almost the same exact reason (underdog aspect). I do the same thing....I collect and play. There's nothing wrong with trying to complete a collection if that's what you want to do, doesn't make you any less of a gamer because you enjoy collecting a wide variety of games. Everyone may not enjoy gaming the same way as you......Dude
So what does a 'gamer' mean? Someone who only plays online? Someone who only plays 'cool' games? If you play games in your spare time, you're a gamer, period. Does that mean that you have to play every game made for every system? Obviously not. It certainly doesn't mean that you can't collect games that you have no intention of playing. If that was the case, no one would ever be able to put together an entire set. Many games for each system aren't worth playing.

It would be really interesting to see a video where you show what it's like to collect on such a serious level. Getting every game for the sake of collecting isn't what collecting is. But continue to waste your money on inferior versions of 3rd party games that offer less content. I know you don't even play them, so I don't see the point.

Complete games collection for a console that never made much of an impact, fantastic idea I say, people will be both impressed and willing to part with cash for it. Whereas the stamps and cars have a smaller chance of popularity (rising again), but this will be a complete physical collection for a Nintendo system, thus interest will be through the roof at some point soon. I'm envious but not jealous. I once considered trying to complete the ps1 black label collection but I gave up, although my personal collection for ps1 is all black label, most of the big/famous/coveted ones so I settled for that. And my ps2 collection is all black label except for silent hill 2 directors cut, which wasn't available in black label, I believe, so I settled for that. But since then I no longer care about black label/platinum covers. I have more than a few Nintendo selects Wii u games. Wii u ftw btw, it's cool and innovative. Love it, I had one since near release and neglected it for a few months until my eyes were opened, after that I rarely used my xbox/ps3. Good vid, I'm envy-jelly bro.

laserspewpew_ Thanks! I think I have around 15% of my games sealed. Rest assured, I have all the best games opened and played, but I always look for interesting games from bargain bins, nice to have them sealed.
This is my current gaming goal. I have over 100 PS1, PS2, PS3, Xbox, Xbox 360, MegaDrive, NES and Snes games... but my N64, GameCube, Wii and Wii U need more love now. I have collected lots but it is mostly games i want to play and not just sit on my shelf. I love the Wii U, imo it is 1 of Nintendos best systems that is insanely under appreciated!

I have a black 32GB Wii U that I bought back in December 2014 & got a lot of good use out of it. I have Super Mario 3D World, Mario Kart 8, Wheel of Fortune, Super Smash Bros. (Wii U), Splatoon, Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker, Wii Sports Club & Bayonetta 2, all fantastic games! I bought a Switch last week, but will continue to play my Wii U for a good while!
Watched the whole thing. Awesome collection. I've a question though. Your overall collection is impressive. I'm honestly curious as to how you manage to finance this? I mean, I can barely make it to 1 or 2 games a month (non-consecutive months). Then again, maybe stuff is more expensive in my area, and money drains like crazy on things like rent, bills, debt x_x.... so, how do you manage? Also, epic voice.
Franc isco I do get some games free through my job (games magazine), but I don't make huge money or anything. I just try to find the best prices and don't waste money (on stuff like alcohol or smoking).

The Wii U is such an underrated system. Gets way to much hate. In 2014 Nintendo showed the world the Wii U had a lot of potential. Such a great system. I think if everyone gave the wii u a second try, it would sell more than the PS4. Anyway, great collection man. Just subscribed! I have a similar channel.
Great collection my friend. :) I love the Wii U. Back on launch day, I was the ONLY one in the line-up who reserved one at Future Shop (and I live in a city of 100,000 people). I got dibs on a black deluxe system, my choice of games and accessories, and got to pay for my system first. The others in line had to get the white system, because only those who preordered got the black (and hence, I was the only one). And on that same day.. Wal-Mart never even got their shipment of Wii U's, so it was total chaos! Ah, memories! :-)
Wii U is the first system I bought with my own money. I don't know why but I have the need to get every Wii U game. Such an underappreciated system.

Wow, this is truly incredible man. I love my Wii U (got it and a ton of games for my birthday last year which was coincidentally my first TH-cam video) and it's great to see all the different games that are available for the system. I wasn't even aware of a few of them. Then again, that's one of the nice things about these collection videos: discovering new/lesser known titles. It's funny though. What you're doing for the Wii U, I'm doing for the Playstation Vita, for almost the same exact reason (underdog aspect). Either way, great collection Finn and I look forward to watching your next video.

I do the same thing....I collect and play. There's nothing wrong with trying to complete a collection if that's what you want to do, doesn't make you any less of a gamer because you enjoy collecting a wide variety of games. Everyone may not enjoy gaming the same way as you......Dude
So what does a 'gamer' mean? Someone who only plays online? Someone who only plays 'cool' games? If you play games in your spare time, you're a gamer, period. Does that mean that you have to play every game made for every system? Obviously not. It certainly doesn't mean that you can't collect games that you have no intention of playing. If that was the case, no one would ever be able to put together an entire set. Many games for each system aren't worth playing.

Where is the best place to source the Japanese Wii U and games? I have a Black Premium system and the Zelda Limited Edition Premium system, but as I'm a big fan of JRPG's I could kinda do with a Japanese version too.

I still enjoy your videos, mostly because I love collections and I really admire you as a collector. It would be really interesting to see a video where you show what it's like to collect on such a serious level. Postage stamps, good point. Toy cars, another good point. Complete games collection for a console that never made much of an impact, fantastic idea I say, people will be both impressed and willing to part with cash for it. Whereas the stamps and cars have a smaller chance of popularity (rising again), but this will be a complete physical collection for a Nintendo system, thus interest will be through the roof at some point soon. I'm envious but not jealous.
I once considered trying to complete the ps1 black label collection but I gave up, although my personal collection for ps1 is all black label, most of the big/famous/coveted ones so I settled for that. And my ps2 collection is all black label except for silent hill 2 directors cut, which wasn't available in black label, I believe, so I settled for that.
But since then I no longer care about black label/platinum covers. I have more than a few Nintendo selects Wii u games.

laserspewpew_ Thanks! I think I have around 15% of my games sealed. Rest assured, I have all the best games opened and played, but I always look for interesting games from bargain bins, nice to have them sealed.
This is my current gaming goal. I have over 100 PS1, PS2, PS3, Xbox, Xbox 360, MegaDrive, NES and Snes games... but my N64, GameCube, Wii and Wii U need more love now. I have collected lots but it is mostly games i want to play and not just sit on my shelf. I love the Wii U, imo it is 1 of Nintendos best systems that is insanely under appreciated!

Nice collection! The Wii U is a very underrated console that deserves more attention! A lot of fantastic games indeed! I have a black 32GB Wii U that I bought back in December 2014 & got a lot of good use out of it. I have Super Mario 3D World, Mario Kart 8, Wheel of Fortune, Super Smash Bros. (Wii U), Splatoon, Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker, Wii Sports Club & Bayonetta 2, all fantastic games! I bought a Switch last week, but will continue to play my Wii U for a good while!
Watched the whole thing. Awesome collection. I've a question though. Your overall collection is impressive. I'm honestly curious as to how you manage to finance this? I mean, I can barely make it to 1 or 2 games a month (non-consecutive months). Then again, maybe stuff is more expensive in my area, and money drains like crazy on things like rent, bills, debt x_x.... so, how do you manage? Also, epic voice.
Franc isco I do get some games free through my job (games magazine), but I don't make huge money or anything. I just try to find the best prices and don't waste money (on stuff like alcohol or smoking).

The Wii U is such an underrated system. Gets way to much hate. In 2014 Nintendo showed the world the Wii U had a lot of potential. Such a great system. Great collection my friend. :) I love the Wii U. Back on launch day, I was the ONLY one in the line-up who reserved one at Future Shop (and I live in a city of 100,000 people). I got dibs on a black deluxe system, my choice of games and accessories, and got to pay for my system first. The others in line had to get the white system, because only those who preordered got the black (and hence, I was the only one). And on that same day.. Wal-Mart never even got their shipment of Wii U's, so it was total chaos! Ah, memories! :-)
