As much as I love game collecting I don't really understand collecting every game for one console. Personally my collection only includes games that I at least have some interest in collecting, which is why i would never get a Barbie Dreamhouse game, but to each their own. Regardless, great collection!

The biggest use of my Wii U is to play wii games, much larger and better game library. Since Wii games are dirt cheap now, It's a great time for me to expand my Wii collection.
redpanda416 Actually the Wii u has many excellent games but games like house of the dead 3 and mario galaxy are awesome Wii games.
Paul Barnes Yeah, Wii U does have some good game, it's just when comparing with the Wii, Wii had a much larger library and many more great games.

which ones are you missing?
Unfortunately I'm missing some ones that were super easy to get in the beginning that I just didn't pick up because I thought they would be available for a long time. Ones like Kirby, Samus and the dreaded Toon Link.
great collection brother, although wii u is probably the easiest console to own complete a collection on, it only has around 200 retail games and that is very unlikely to increase by much, now compare that to ps2 which has 2000+ or nes which has 1000 and you can see where im coming from

That last shot of all the bottoms of the boxes with different Wii U logos was great. I've only got 8 physical Wii U games so far, with a few random digital copies of retail games, and some virtual console/downloadable ones. I'll definitely be getting more at some point but I just need them to drop in price.
Hopefully Nintendo selects helped with your collection! I've been finding wii u games pretty cheap online on eBay and gameflip (An app that lets you buys games. It's like eBay but I find the prices are better sometimes) GameStop isn't so bad with the preowned either.

Hey Finn, I've got a bit to say, so bear with me lol
First of all what a great WiiU collection! So many games that I wish they would have released in the west, Dragon Quest and Monster Hunter series to name a couple. I think just maybe that would have helped the system out a bit. I must say though, you really do have to buy some crap to have a complete collection, eg Barbie games! Lol. But a collector has to do what a collector has to do! 😉
I absolutely love the system myself too, I'm sure I've mentioned that before. I'm gutted that it's on it's way out. But at least that means some cheaper prices for beginner collectors like myself.
I'm a little worried about a few of your sealed games, I'm really hoping your've played them one way or the other.
Finally, I was thinking, any chance you could add the current number of your completed games to your collection videos? I would find that really interesting. 😉

Like I mentioned, I do have several duplicates as well, one opened, one sealed. For this video I picked all the sealed ones to display, but I'm sure I'll regret that down the line when people comment about me not playing games. ;D Rest assured, I have played all GOOD games on the system. :)
Yeah, get your Wii U stuff during when they get cheaper in the following year. I guarantee you they'll go back up again, as the games of failed quality consoles do (Like Saturn and Dreamcast).

No joke, of the maybe couple of dozen Wii U games I've picked while in Japan, I've easily paid my flight tickets when comparing to eBay prices for the same games.

***** I used to own a sega Saturn I paid £400 at launch and it was the most dissapointing sega console I bought.The sega dreamcast was way better with it's arcade perfect ports it finally delivered the arcade experience sega promised me.

Yeah, like I mentioned, Wii U has 263 different editions, and I have 206 here. So dozens still missing, but those are just bonus collecting on top of getting all the unique games.
I'm going to E3 soon, so I'll pick up all the US Selects (like Pikmin 3) then.

Gosh, I thought that on the "updated version" of Your collection, You will show only games You added to the collection. The video is too long for me to watch the collection one more time from the beginning, so I don't know if You already have it, but I haven't seen them on the previous video: Zelda Twilight Princess HD, Zelda Breath of the wild, Splatoon, Minecraft, Devil's Third, Kirby and the Rainbow Paintbrush, Paper Mario Color Splash. I've got them on mine collection.

my names brett wise im proud to say im in love with the nintendo wii u its like a dreamcast a gamecube and a wii had a child with more great 2d and 3d platforming fps and racing games than any other game system can dream plus we have exclusive franchises like mario zelda metroid starfox donkey konk mario kart luigis mansion and many more plus the wii u had a head start on ps4 and xbox one and costs less and has more games wii u ftw

It must be thousands of pounds at least I have 38 Wii U retail game's and spent close to a grand so it could be between 3 and 4 thousand pound's.
Paul Barnes considering the majority are sealed and he has all these collectors editions: definitely over £5k mate. And Finland is more expensive than the UK. I’m guessing around €8k.

Yes, I'm Finnish. I've got my games from all over the place. Game stores, hypermarkets, online, eBay... where ever they are the cheapest.
According to freedomfactorystudios.com website Bloodbath (PS3 euro exclusive for Spain) will be on WiiU, and also Young Justice - Legacy. However I can't see any on eBay. Another PS3 rarity is kick-ass 2 but I have no idea if that got ported to WiiU. Good luck with finishing the collection as you've done an amazing job.
GameFAQs doesn't seem to know the Wii U version of Bloodbath, and they say Young Justice League Wii U was cancelled... But I'm sure I haven't found out about all released games yet, it's part of what makes collecting fun. :) Will keep an eye out for Bloodbath.

I have about 10 games to go, although I'm just collecting NA releases, and not every single variant :) still around 160 or so games... I appreciate your work, too bad you have to suffer through some of the more ignorant comments :(

I have Mario Kart steelbook and Watch Dogs ANZ, got them after this video. There is no "Deadstroke Edition" of Arkham Origins, it's just a sticker on top of the plastic wrapping instead of being a full fledged edition. But tell me more of the Batman Legends Edition?

Can we just talk about how both the USK and Pegi 18+ and 12+ ratings are on the same region of Bayonetta + Bayonetta 2 Special Edition and Ben 10 Omniverse respectively? (And even SSB4U)
You mean why are there both ratings present on the cover, not just one or the other? Because they need to do just one printing for whole Europe, just saving money.

Looks like a promotional DVD or something, pretty sure it's not a game.
You should do an update of this finn and show the spines so we can see which region they were available for all the green triangled games are the Pal UK region so you could show what you have frim that region opposed to the dark blue from the Italian Pal region this way we can reference them a bit better because as it stands no one knows what or how many there are for the different 44 regions of Pal. The US had the best system God knows why Nintendo splintered into so many regions it's my guess certain games couldn't be released in certain parts of Europe due to peoples religious or native views to cetain topics so they just split everything up into regions with the coloured triangles so as to identify them easily on the factory shelves so they didn't send the wrong version to the wrong region so as not to offend that country. 😊 I visit this video every now and again when I need to reference something so I'm glad you haven't taken it down and hope you leave it up for many years yet haha 😊

I have not bought all of these from my country either, many have been bought online from eBay or Amazon.
