I learned this through experience. My client had a budget of just $10 per day. I was testing many ads because I see in YT videos that you should test many ads. I wasn't seeing results because of that. Now, I just run 1 adset with 2 ads at $10/day. After 3-4 days the winner gets the whole budget. Downside is there is no room for testing anymore.
You're aboslutely right. Leaves you with very little to no room for experimenting. But it is what it is with a constrained budget. Ya just gotta communicate it effectively with said client!
Thanks for the information. Do you spend $10/day on the adset level(dynamic creative on or off?) or you spend $10/day on the campain level? Thanks a lot @jpna8223
if i ran 3 ads and only one is performing well am i supposed to kill the 2 underperforming ads and run only that 1 ad or create another 2 then test again until i get those other 2 ads performs well?
I have a question about target targeting. I'm getting good CPL by doing international targeting but I want to focus it more to get leads who actually convert. Should I change the objective of the advertisement, or just be more specific about selecting certain countries and excluding others?
Be more selective about the countries you pick! Check your back-end stats on which leads convert best - And try to spot a pattern on the countries that convert better and target only them.
Hi Justin, in the case of the campaign with 3 ads, can the 3 ads also be mixed formats? for example 2 posts and a reel, or 1 reel 1 carousel and 1 post. Or 2 reels and 1 post. Or does the format necessarily have to be the same?
Hi Justin, I’ve been learning a lot from you! I watched your video 'The Best Low Budget Facebook Ads Strategy (2024)' and have a question I’d love your input on. When running different ADSETS with various DCTs, can I also target different audiences for each ADSET? Or should the only difference between the ADSETS be the DCTs, not the audience? For example, I have a client who owns a yoga studio, and I’m debating whether to create two ADSETS with DCTs targeting mothers and another ADSET in the campaign with a DCT targeting young women.
Hey Justin, sorry for so many questions haha. Well, if I am testing 3 different desires in 3 different DCTs in a CBO, what should vary in each of the DCTs creatives from, for example, desire 1? Great content btw
Not sure I understand your question - But one DCT is one concept. Each concept is entirely different OR an iteration from another active concept. It'd have its own mass market desire, awareness level, angle, etc.
Awesome content, I have a doubt for low budget, since is DCT, every ad has 3 variations, like it was in reality 3 ads per adset, shouldn't that be taken into consideration to set the daily budget ? If my CPA is $10 and I set $10 per adset, i should wait 3 days or 9 days ? since is 3 days per ad and this ad has 3 variations
No, given how each of the 3 creative should be almost the same, with one slight variable... And Facebook will usually automatically favor one combination over the rest and allocate most, if not all, your spend to it. So, it's not like they're actually completely different ads.
Hi Justin. Let me see if I've got this right. My ideal CPA is say $20. I create a CBO with two dynamic adsets (each with 3:2:2). The correct budget for that would be $60 (3 x CPA) for the CBO? Or would it need to be $120 because there are two ads within the CBO? And then I'd wait three days and be looking/expecting the CBO to be around the $20 CPA mark, otherwise kill?
@@JustinLalonde Thanks for that! Out of curiosity, could you get the same level of confidence after 24 hours if you spent $120, or is it a case of time duration > spend?
@@blokeinthearches You'd still need time regardless of ad spend level. The first 48-72 hours after launching a new ad are always unstable - So no matter how much you spend on an ad, let it run for 2-3 days before making a decision as to whether to kill or scale it!
Nice content, thanks a lot! Question: you did not mention anything about setting up the audiences, does that mean it should be just as broad as possible?
Nice content mate!!❤ When you talk about only one ad for low budget, are you talking about an ad which contains 3 images or 3 videos or just post an image, or a video, or a carouesel ? Thanks a lot mate!
Just one more thing, in your example, if your opt for running 3 adsets with the CBO with 30$ a day, you say: let them run for at least 6 days(woud´ve spent 2x KPI each..), but what I have seen is that, when your campaign spends in total as in this example 180$(6 days x 30$ a day), some ad sets have spent more than 2x the kpi and some ad sets have either not spent at all or very little(because I assume that facebook's algorithm will spend more money on the ads it thinks are better). In short, you make the decision when you have spent the 180$ of the campaign knowing that some ad sets have not reached 2x the kpi or have exceeded it?or how? Thanks a lot! you´re the best!

Glad you're finding value! You should only go broad, ever. I never test targeting!
Would you advise retesting all failed tests if our website and/or landing page was completely revamped?
If CTR was great - Yes.

Appreciate it! Yep - Always go broad. I don't speak of audiences anymore, I've been going broad for 1.5 years (ish) now.
How to join your skool community, and is it paid ?
Not available anymore for Free - It's only accessible to paid students of AdEngine.

You can’t start ads with just $100? For like an smma
$100 a day? Absolutely.
Hi, great video 👌 one question - when you say “run only 1 ad with a low budget”, you mean run only 1 DCT? 🤔
Correct! (Although DCTs have been announced last week to soon disappear - Will make an update video in the next week or two on that.)
@@JustinLalonde is it official information that DCTs will disappear? 🤔

what does KPI means , what kpi stands for ? someone can explain me its very important
KPI - Key Performance Indicator, or, in this case, the metric for which you're optimizing for.
