    THANK YOU! This addressed literally every struggle and question I was having with the platform rn. What the hell are you supposed to do with ONE dynamic ad per ad set/audience?? Now I know. Pull out winners or just add a new dynamic test.

    • @tgaul
      @tgaul 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Wait though. Let's say you did a dynamic test with 10 ads (stupid I know, now). Can you deactivate losers without killing the ad set? Or is that one of those things where you just never know?

    • @JustinLalonde
      @JustinLalonde  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@tgaul Ya can't or else you'd edit the ad and remove the dynamic assets manually if that makes sense! You'd just have to look at "breakdown by creative element" reporting to see which of these 10 assets performed!

    I recommend you to make a video on building campaigns by objectives, it would be useful for me and others. For example, when creating the campaign, should we choose traffic or sales?

    • @JustinLalonde

      Always choose Sales! I don't make videos on the topic, since I never not choose sales, for e-commerce. (Perhaps, Leads, at times!)

      For TOF, or first stage in the awareness stages (out of 5)... do you still go for sales campaigns or do you ever run brand awareness or reach etc to just focus on very TOF and not immediatly selling?

    Thanks for this video!
    To make sure I'm understanding correctly. 1 CBO campaign for everything, ad set with broad targeting, and (around) 3 variations per ad.
    What if I have a few different ads that may (potentially) target different people. Do all of them go in the same ad set? or each creative has its own ad set with one ad inside.

    • @JustinLalonde
      @JustinLalonde  หลายเดือนก่อน

      These would all have their own DCTs. Perhaps, if the persona is so different, you may even need to do one campaign per persona!

  • @alexandragorshkova9399
    @alexandragorshkova9399 6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

    Hi! I find it super useful, but DCT tends to cut creatives in random places (ex. vertical format to square), how do I deal with it without limiting placements to vertical or feed only?

    • @JustinLalonde
      @JustinLalonde  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I always do automatic placements.
      I do 1:1 for images and 4:5 for videos.
      Are there bars added sometimes? Yes.
      Does it matter? Absolutely not, at least not for performance. It would, if branding is a priority over performance!

  • @djxete1987

    Thank you for the video. The problem is: if you activate dynamic creative and for example upload an ad containing 3 images of 1080x1080(standard size), It looks fine in Facebook Feeds, but in Facebook Stories and Facebook Reels it looks bad because the facebook icons(your logo, shop now icon) etc.. is placed on top of your image. However, uploading image by image without activating the dynamic creative, lets you upload the same image but modifying the size for each (feed, story and reel) and so it looks good in all. How do you solve this? How can I solve it? Thank you very much for all the value you give us.

    • @JustinLalonde
      @JustinLalonde  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Thanks for watching! Here, you're overthinking it.
      The answer simply is that it won't look "perfect" in all placements, and that it doesn't matter.
      A perfect look won't give you better results.
      It's a micro optimization that won't necessarily move the needle forward in your account.
      I'd rather use a 1080x1080 image or 1080x1350 video with a dynamic creative test, and have them have "bars" in stories or reels placements since I trust Meta's algorithm to show my ad in placements that'll convert.

    Question.. we started running ads about 8 months ago. They haven't really performed that well since March and I think it's because we need to make adjustments to our creative strategy and funnel structure. Would we face an even larger set back if we decide to restructure our campaign now?

    Hi!👋 I like your ideas about how you work with Meta ads 👍 All talks about video and picture ads but what if my top performing ad format is a products carousel? 🤔 in this case basically there are options to test different text copies and few other smaller things. Then should I create new adsets in working ACB with 2-3 new carousels to test or it is okay to add 1-2 carousels with new text copies into already working adset without creating new ones? 🤔

    • @JustinLalonde
      @JustinLalonde  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

    Quick question JUSTIN, Whenever we wanna test 2 DCTs ,can they both be targeting two different concepts or is it necessary that both of the DCTs should have same concept with one isolated variation in each ?
