I like to think that when Ichigo stands up and says "I will protect you" in reality it is White speaking to Ichigo, and not Ichigo to Orohime.

Could be both. Maybe the hollow realised Ichigo will never, ever recover if Orihime dies. Who knows, maybe Ichigo would lose all his powers or even die from sorrow if he fails to protect Orihime. The hollow can't have that now can he, so by going completely berserk he protects Ichigo by protecting Orihime. The hollow wouldn't care if Orihime died, but Ichigo would so the hollow has to act to protect Ichigo and itself by completely destroying Ulquiorra.
1. Ichigo was never a normal human
He was an untrained Quincy with ludicrous amounts of spiritual pressure
2. 'Zangetsu' was Ywach's soul fragment pretending to be a zanpakuto
3. His 'zangetsu' shikai does have a sealed form. Ichigo could not suppress it at that time.
4. His 'mastered' bankai was not.
5. Byakuya losing allowed for his heart's desire to come true without suffer a loss of honor.
6. The inverted nameless 'Ichigo' is the manifestation of Ichigo's shinigami powers. He is the power being suppressed and restricted by Ywach's soul fragment. Not just an inner hollow, but the real Zangetsu. He is both a representation of the zanpakuto and the hollow.
7. 'hollowfied' Ichigo's is a Vizard. It's literally an example of localization shenanigans as Vizard is Visored. As in masked.
8. 'Vastolorde' Ichigo is a Vastolorde Arrancar
9. You misused PTSD portraying it incorrectly.
10. We can't know if Aizen actually blocked Ichigo's cut with a single finger or if it was an illusion
11. Fullbring is not 'weaker' than shinigami. You skipped over orihime being a fullbringer
12. It was revealed his mother was a Quincy earlier on. Why everyone forgets this I don't understand. before the fight with the current final fight with Aizen(he's still a thing and we have a hell arc too).

The one thing I loved what's when every time the mask appeared on Ichigo's face, the marks was changing bit by bit. Until he changed into his full hollow 2 form, the mark changed completely into just two streaks going down on both sides.
Reason for absorbing all of rukia's soul power is because he is part quincy. Quincy is good at absorbing reishi.

Personally, now that elves... Excuse me, the souzoushin(creator god(s)) race has been brought about, I'm curious if we'll discover that Ichigo has a tighter relation than that he likely has as being the great descendant of the soul king.
Though I don't think the former soul king being a member of the souzoushin has been confirmed or not.

Aizen knew about Ulqiourra's 2nd release. That's why he left him behind in Hueco Mundo to fight Ichigo and force another evolution in Ichigo.
The only reason ichigo beat kenpachi is because kenpachi subconsciously lowers his power to match his opponent. But it is still impressive that he beat somebody with as much experience as kenpachi.
So that may mean that if kenpachi ever fights a chicken it would be a close match.
On me he would’ve got clapped Beyond Negative difficulty if kenpachi Zaraki even used 1% of his power fr

I have always thought that Zangetsu's shikai looked like half of a bow but yeah . Also to me it was really interesting Tessai's reaction to seeing zangetsu's shikai, he looked terrified and I have always wondered why.

His first base shinigami form wasn't a Shikai. It's just his huge false Asauchi.
Yes and any other zangetsu before the zero squad arc is a false zanpakto.

@@adenshaw5273 no, he had Rukias zanpakuto until he got his own powers and then Zangetsu manifested with him. It's why he couldn't regain his sword from getting a new Asauchi like Renji. At least that's how I understand it.

An asauchi is a blank zanpakuto/spirit template that a shinigami pours their spiritual pressure into to give their inner zanpakuto spirit a way to manifest. White is his zanpakuto spirit and is Zangetsu/Tensa Zangetsu not an asauchi. The old man is an imprint of Ywach and represents his inner Quincy. Zangetsu has a hollow like demeanor and powers because he was born of a mother who went through hollowfication.
I’ve never heard Ulquiorra pronounced like that. 😅 Also, when VL Ichigo fought Ulquiorra he only had 1/3 of his shihakusho which directly correlates to his reiatsu.

Ichigo's first form isnt a shikai form. Shikai is first awakening. The form he has in the first few episodes is his sealed form.

@@traw5692 it was heavily implied early on. As far back as the fight with Kenpachi actually. As the hollow mask appears in riatsu form behind him when he deals the last blow. Not to mention his appearance against byakuya. The fact that he was the only capable of coming out on his own and merging with ichigo should have been a giveaway. Plus he quite literally said he was zangetsu. Kubo was clever though by making him speaking in clever word play so you never really knew much about him. I guess kubo took the saying hiding in plain sight and did it literally to fuck with us

Yes. Cause ginjo dies. So they returned. They weren't ever fully stolen anyway. He only got a small portion
They’re incorporated into his Shinigami powers. He has those marks from his fullbring which altered the Shinigami form appearance and base power. He also no longer needs the Hollow mask to use that power-up
Lets also remember his original bankais worked more like an Arrancars resurreccion state

I wish ichigo had used and mix the power of his races. It was always the same power. He used cero and sonido for hollow, but can't he used another power to represent his hollow side too? All espadas has a special technique. Different from other Quincy, ichigo can see yhwach inside him, cant that yhwach trained him and give him a letter too. There can be different Quincy with the same letter. His Shinigami side is all good the only thing left is to learn kido. For the fullbring side i don't know what can give besides cool clothes.

It does not matter to me that Bleach is cliché and follows shōnen tropes. The way they say "ban.... kai" always gives me chills. It's like they're struggling to open a floodgate against the pressure, and then they let it explode out. Yamamoto was different, of course, but he was Yamamoto.

At 5:00. That's not Ichigo's shikai, it's a sealed zanpakuto. Ichigo just doesn't know how to regulate it's size like other shinigami.
Ichigo's substitute soul reaper sword wasn't a shikai. A shikai is the released form of a zanpakuto. It's only when he learns Zangetsu's name that it's a true shikai.
