Well Paul, I had tried with success what you had said and showed on your video before, about the lean. I’ve been doing it once or twice a week since I first saw it, weeks ago. It does work. I have a complete library of all your videos on my shop laptop. They are so informative. Liked your last one of you and your wife on the tour. You did a great job getting the car ready for the show. Too bad you didn’t get a chance to show it for points. You guys have some very nice A’s. So easy to follow what you do with them. Thank you and your wife for taking the time to do all this. Regards,PaulB

What a clever tip, would never have thought to polish up an old cam and simply check the gap in a spare body. Sometimes we are in too big a hurry to buy new parts before trying to re-use the old originals. And now I know why you stress putting a tiny bit of lube on the distributor cam when servicing. These are things we learn from you Paul because you are driving your Fords on a regular daily basis. Please keep posting, your videos are the best.

Need a little more info tho. for My '31 Distributor it has a screw (Vertically) to mount the points and a screw (Horizontally) to adjust the gap on the points (I think) - and the steering colum has a lever to adjust timing... if the Timing is Retarded or Advanced... Won't that mess with the points gap adjustment when working on this type of "peeking" the points I have? Thanks for all you share on the videos.
