Since Mythra is a mandatory Blade in the main story, it should come as no surprise that she's one of the very best! Making use of her unique ability, Lightspeed Flurry, you can have little to no cooldowns on your arts, letting you spam attacks freely. Not to mention, crit heal accesories and crit chance auxiliary cores complement her perfectly, letting you effectively serve as a DPS, Tank, and self-healer.

Daven Port Art Heal V drops from the big robots in this video. Be sure to Overkill them in Chain Attack to increase your chances of getting them!

Moon Matter chip is the best Core Chip to use on Mythra, since that boosts her crit rate to 54%.(With Crit V Aux core equipped). It drops off Deep Sea King Ken in Tantal.
Also, you seem to have gotten mixed up between *Driver Arts* and *Blade Arts* . Driver Arts are the skills you use during battle while Blade Arts are the passives you gain when you raise affinity with your Blade during battle. They aren't the same thing.

Crit V aux core also drops from The Deimos Sauros in Temperatia near the Leaning Tower of Dorrick
foggy weather in Tantal, and he is level 110. Just be sure to put 8 orbs on him before you initiate the chain attack.

Been watching your videos for a couple of days now and i thoroughly enjoy them. Very informative and while I do agree with some of your build, I disagree with some mainly because of how the game lets your freely build pretty much your whole squad. Anyways subscribed because I enjoy your builds and also I built crit heals with Perceval equipped with Rex because I pulled him with Rex hahaha anyways looking forward to more of your videos.
the best way of dealing with cc and still use the crit heal mythra effectively is by using chroma katanas with agility boosters and pentagon chips and then put an amethyst chip on pyra so you gain 150 agility and extra agility from the blade boosts. this goes very well with foresight since that is a 50% boost to agility and accuracy, with this you can take down most of the superbosses in your mid lvl 70s. i use that with an agilty build with morag and a healer. EDIT: i also use ester shoes
So in short, make mythra a crit heal dodge tank
that's pretty smart, especially on the character you control. you can always use the other 2 blades for their modifiers + core chip bonuses.
The build youre talking about you'd need to swap out Roc and Wulfric for 2 Shild Hammer Blades and get max Block rate on those with the Zircon Chip? that gets dropped by the blue bird on Gormott.
There's this special mythra core you can get in goldmouth that ups critical by 25% some guy with a trophy on over his head give it to you

A bit late on this but there is a Aux core that increase crits by 25% it is called "Massive melee Mythra" i think u get it in Argentum Trade Guild.
This is also so good because later when you unlock the node for crit building the party gague you can fill it SUPER quick by auto cancel chaining. Instead of canceling an auto with an art, you wait till the auto damage registers and the nudge the left stick very slightly. This will effectively cancel your progression to the second auto and will restart the cycle. Doing this repeatedly greatly increases your AA speed and more attacks means more crit. Sure you lose out on a bit of damage, but you get way more chain attacks with 300% damage+ to make up for it.
This also charges arts pretty efficiently on mythra/pyra but she doesnt even need it.

Awesome. I haven't started the game yet but now I know what built im shooting for. Got something similar in Diablo 3. Anytime I receive dmg I get healed all the way. Pretty much God mode. Can't die, lol.
What about mighty melee mythra aux core which boosts her crit rate by 25% and you can get it in goldmouth
i was able to make the mythra crit build before world tree. using a mirror matter chip (i think) with all but 1 node of crit chance done on her passives. advant garde medal from either a merc mission or dagas second affinity chart and overclocking bangle for farming, auto balancer for consistent damage, or an optical headband for more crit damage. aux are crit rate v and hp attack boost v. most were either merc missions, part of a sidequest, or found during farming, all before world tree.... so its completly possible, just a major pain in ass because of grinding lol
There's the Bloody Orb which requires a party memeber to fall for 160% dmg boost, OR World Tree Drop which increases damage with blade switches (max 250%) so you'll have two Blades you'll swap to constantly to build it up, then go back to Mythra for the critness. Match these up with Avant-Garde and you'll do so much dmg your crits will just full heal each time.
Mythra is my 3rd favorite character in the game. I like Nia and Poppi more. Poppi made me cry and Nia is the Melia of this game, who is my favorite character in the original. I liked Mythra even more when rewatching the cutscenes. Her animations are hilarious to watch when she's with Rex.
I have a qestion did you ever put the moon matter chip on Mythra ?
I like equiping either Auto-balancer(no deflection from guards) three star or Overclock Bangle(to do Driver combos inbetween attacking) three star on Rex, as well as Avant Garde Medal that deals better crit heal
Deathbringersora Yup: the nice thing about this setup is that the accesories are largely interchangeable (except for Avant-Garde) depending on the encounter. If a certain boss is giving Rex too much trouble, I like to sometimes use a titanium vest to expand his HP pool.
Btw the better accessory you mentioned is the avant grade which you can get from the sovereigns in the world tree.
Hmm is there a point in using cores and accessories that involve auto-attacks? Won't you be just spamming driver arts because of her reset skill?
I've been using this myself with a couple of changes. I used the Avant-Garde medal accessory for the 21% healing on crit, and I dropped the Arts Heal V for the +30% damage when over 90% HP aux core.
where do you get avant guard medal
The 3 diamond version drops from Haywire Radcliffe in the world tree, it's his rarest drop so go in with a farming setup and Adenine's treasure seeker.

Domy Albaoud I could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure you have to view a heart to heart in the Land of Morytha. It should be near the fallen skyscraper
You can totally make a toned down version of mythra even in mor ardain if you're willing to grind for a bit, but if you don't want to do a lot of farming you can get it done by chapter 7
And it's usually better to have rolling smash alternating with spinning edge to reduce aggro
I fused your Herald-Build(The Aux Cores) and this one (The modern Medal), and used them on Zenobia with Rex(Strong Smash-deal 150% more damage if the oponent has the break status)
The result was 10000+ heals and 50000+ damage
How is the gold chip on this build? I'm actually using one that makes me have 45% crit but I don't have enough damage... Something like 620...

At about 5:36 he mentions that this build uses a lot of blade arts but in the demonstration they aren't used a lot (if I am right about the difference between driver arts and blade arts). Maybe there is some consumable that increases Driver Art dmg which would be much more useful on this build.
One of the big perks of this build is due to the driver art spam, Rex builds special incredibly quickly. It allows your team to easily build up/fire off a 4 orb full burst incredibly fast.
The fight he chose for this video isn't the best example of this as it's a group of lower hp enemies - but it does illustrate how Rex can just spam the drivers arts.

99% of the time, I use Chargrilled Grumbird (Butcher in Fonsa Myma) and Annals of Addam (Bookstore in Tantal)
I focus on Arts Recharge per second and Special Damage increase %.

How do you get the material for heal arts?
So I got one problem with this build that's stuck to me for the entire game. Rex constantly gets knocked backed. When facing the Gladiator, he'll be knocked back along with all the party members and he'll still defeat me.

AbyssMatuk Well Rex does have a skill that boosts the party gauge when he gets a critical hit, so you would be able to use it quick.
Yes, it let's you do any element which is crazy and it does much more dmg in chain attacks, so basically, add 6 orbs, use her to add 7th and 8 and chain attack

Well, her DPS is lower because of (the lack of) Lightspeed Furry. But really you only go into her for chain attacks.

J Bo Act like you're switching Blades in battle but tap their portrait to switch. In menus, highlight them and press Y

You are correct about the affinity skill, its when you scrape somebody with 0 HP off the ground. And a good core chip i found before endgame, although just before the end, like chapter 9-10 ish, is mirror matter chip; with a good crit aux core, you can surpass 50% as a base crit percentage. If youre looking at true endgame crit focused chips, the moon matter chip (which drops off of Cloud Sea King Ken in Tantal) is the best chip possible for the build i believe.

chapter 8 with diamond, avant-garde (20%), arts heal IV, critical up III, and mythra is S5 with 887 attack at level 63. i was able to get an arts heal V and critical up V but i can't refine it until i get to the world tree.

CC is acronym for crowd control.
He casically means those battles where you keep getting knocked back, sent flying and all that shit.
CC'ing is all about the stuns and locking the enemy so he doesn't have chance to do anything
4:30 Why wouldn't you use Massive Melee Mythra? It has a 25% crit increase compared to the 20%

The Mythra skin item u get from Brobro for free is a lot more powerful and gives more crit than that aux core. My Mythra sits at 65% critical rate atm.

If you go for a chain attack you get immune for a while so save it for when he's casting.
I never got instakilled there hm. Just put like at least 4 orbs on him and break them in a chain attack with the green hair mythra active. After the mid battle cutscene since it resets orbs.
A chain attack after 4 orbs usually kills at half health, and my party's level average was around 67.
I just had Morag set up so she dodges everything. That, and Rex set up with his story blade, so he healed some of the damage off straight away, preventing incapacitation. Poor Zeke on the other hand...

You have to mind the setups of your healer and tanks, as well as your positioning on the battle. Before I recorded this video, I fought against this same enemy encounter and got wrecked at 99 because I ate up all the aggro of all the enemies, without focusing down the enemies that knock back my party members.
This is a powerful build, but you have to make sure your team composition complements it properly (tank, healer).
Uplands doing those enemies for exp at lv 91 is very tough lol but i almost did it with this build, idk what problem your having in the game for the build not working. Is mythra's affinity chart maxed at the places it needs to be?

I like to use the avant-garde medal, it absorbs 21% critical damage dealt as hp. Plus optical headband for 50% increase in critical damage. More often than not I heal for more than max hp. Rex is pretty much a crit-regen tank and it is glorious!

I personally use an omega drive for my second accessory. It's probably the fastest way to get single-driver chain attacks. I've even managed to get 3-element bursts with nothing more than the Aegis.
Personally, it depends on the fight for me. Against a driver, I like my second slot as an Auto Balancer (i think its called) so a block doesnt interrupt your attacks and allow you to continue to double spinning edge of whatever without staggering. In most other situations, I find the male loincloth better than the Optical headband, because the male loincloth is more consistently contributing to damage output, even when you dont crit (just note that you only get the bonus with female blades).
evasion mythra works better for me, because you can't always heal (one-shot or stun)
Mythra can't solo orion and the lv120 squirrel unfortunately, but brighid can

Wew Lad You can't use sacred arrow against orion, as you are inside a building. Since most of his arts topple or blow you down you won't have enough party gauge to chain attack trough them nor enough time to build up a level 2 stage special. It could be doable with three blades on rex but with just myhtra it's impossible

I prefer to use Rolling Smash instead of Double Spinning edge
Double spinning edge is better against single oponents because of it's 2-hit combo. Rolling Smash is better against multiple enemies since its AOE lets it a chance to crit per enemy in range.
